Undying Warlord

504 Behemoth down

Thick blood was splattered on every single white scale of the Behemoth’s body.

A roar of utter pain and desperation reverberated through the surrounding area and eyes filled with shock and terror stared at the humongous body of the once powerful and mighty mythical creature.

“This…I’m not dreaming, am I?” Clark Mekaz asked, rubbing his eyes to make sure that he hadn’t been caught in an illusion.

However, everything he saw right in front of him was nothing but the shocking truth.

Warm blood spurted out of tens of thousands of deep cuts that had been inflicted on the Behemoth. The blood rain poured down on a young man, who was calmly standing on top of the humongous mythical creature’s severed head, his expression filled with utter excitement, joy, and the desire to kill more and more beings as powerful as the Behemoth.

“You are not dreaming…but a dream might actually be more plausible in this case…” Karla, Clark’s mother, said. She felt just like her son as if she had seen something that was not supposed to be possible.

Only a single hour had passed since Dilan had initiated the fight with the Behemoth, yet, it could not keep up with his strength or agility. The mighty beast owing to the tremendous power Dilan had unleashed.

“How the hell was it possible for him to defeat the Behemoth that easily? Didn’t the Behemoth stomp on him, nearly killing him right off the bat?” Paula, the youngest of the Mekaz family asked after a few seconds.

Through her powers as a full-fledged Priestess, she could easily tell when someone was on the verge of dying, or dead, and Dilan had actually been both.

He had actually died, just to return to the living world as someone on the verge of death.

That didn’t make any sense but it was definitely what Paula perceived. Yet, oddly enough, Dilan didn’t seem to have been bothered about his body’s state. His bones and organs had healed rapidly and his strength had increased by more than 50%, providing him with the necessary power to obliterate the Behemoth.

Dilan used the majority of effects from the Hyel Destructo Armor Set to gain several advantages. He used [Hulk-Up] to increase his Strength and Health by 50% immediately after he had been stomped upon.

Allowing the Behemoth to trample upon him with its tremendous weight was also something Dilan had done intentionally.

He knew that his Origin ability would save him from the worst, and he was in possession of the [Gravity Domain] which he had also activated to decrease the gravitational force being exerted on the Behemoth after it had nearly killed him.

While he was on the verge of death, Dilan’s occupational ability [Bracing Pain] had been activated, increasing all of his stats by 50% once again.

After that, Dilan’s Health was already at more than 2500 Units, which was more than enough to heal him rapidly, especially with [Undying] activated.

His bones and organs healed instantly while [Bracin Pain]’s effect was retained for several additional minutes.

After [Walk of Thunder], [Second Acceleration], and [Switch] had been activated, the rest of his stat amplification and reallocating abilities had been used up.

His power reached a state where nothing in his surrounding area was able to sustain its original form. Everything around him was reduced to atoms.

The Planet was not yet prepared to harbor a living form as powerful as the power Dilan had attained for a short moment.

But that was not something of his concern. He couldn’t be bothered about the planet’s suffering because all of his focus was on leaving no stone unturned to become powerful for the fight against his father.

He had to test out his current limits, which was more than enough reason for Dilan to summon two spirits that were never supposed to become accessible to Dilan.

Dilan summoned two Intermediate Spirits of Destruction, Spirits born from the purest form of Destruction. He was not sure how spirits like these were able to exist, in the first place, but Dilan didn’t actually care about this.

For him, it was most important that Spirits of Destruction existed and that he could summon and control them, using his comprehension of the Power of Destruction and the Ring of Infinite Elements constitution.

His constitution was the biggest factor in his controllability of the Power of Destruction and the Spirits of Destruction.

They heed his calls and turned every issued attack into a terrifying slash of destruction.

The blades of the Blessed Blade and the Cursed Dagger had been too short to pierce through the Behemoth’s Skin, but it did not matter if the magical attack that followed his physical attack was several times more destructive.

The Destruction Slashes dug deep inside the Behemoth, and the devastation they caused began to influence Dilan’s body and mind. He began to move much faster, he used more mana in his attacks, elevating the damage of every single issued attack, and his mind was finding a way back to the old crazy self he had been while seeing the blood and death of his opponents…just like it had been at the start of the Primordial Ascension.

His battle lust was slowly returning and Dilan could clearly feel that it was merging with his killing intent and the uncontrollable desire to kill his father.

Dilan killed the Behemoth in a mere hour, but it only took this long because of the Behemoth’s trait. It had a super regeneration trait, which allowed the humongous monster to heal most injuries Dilan inflicted upon it at a great speed.

Of course, every type of regenerative ability had its limits, and Dilan could make use of that very easily.

He had inflicted hundreds of gashes all over the giant’s body that were tens of meters deep and hundreds of meters long. It looked like it would have taken a thousand ascenders to inflict that level of damage but it had been the work of a single human- Dilan, whose powers were flushing outside his body as if the dam within him had just broken.

Nobody could actually gauge the true extent of Dilan’s powers but everyone could tell that Dilan was the strongest existence they had ever seen.

Yet, even then, Rory couldn’t help but be worried. She didn’t expect Dilan to become as powerful as he was after advancing to the third Tier not too long ago. However, even if Dilan was extremely powerful, possibly strong enough to contend against some Lower beings of the fifth Tier, nobody could be certain that Dilan could survive attacks that would damage his soul!

“Do you think he is strong enough to deal with dad…like this?” Marie asked at this moment, her eyes overflowing with terror.

She had seen the strength of her brother before already, but it was only now that Marie could tell that her little brother had much more up his sleeves than what he had showcased before.

‘Just how much did you have to go through to achieve this kind of strength?…’ She wondered without realizing that her eyes were getting moist again.

“I…don’t know…” Lara answered, holding her belly as if she was trying to calm down the little life inside her.

She looked at the destruction her little brother had caused with an uncertain expression. The life of Ascenders was something she couldn’t fathom. Nonetheless, Lara could tell that everyone else was beyond shocked at Dilan’s feat.

“I am sorry to say this, but even with the terrifying prowess Dilan showcased, it might not necessarily mean that he can kill your father,” Jörg intervened all of a sudden, and the sisters turned to the old man at once.

“Why not?” Marie asked, concern gleaming in her eyes.

“Because your father accepted the Blood of a Primordial!”
