Undead Mage from a Cell
Chapter 1106 - 1104: Suppression Maze
Chapter 1106: Chapter 1104: Suppression Maze
"Who?"
When Gu Xi saw the half-corpse, it suddenly lifted its head and emitted a sharp sound.
Gu Xi could clearly feel that this half-corpse was looking at him through the eyes of the Spirit Lamp Carrier.
But the Minotaur was unaware of this; he hadn’t sensed the Spirit Lamp Carrier following him, let alone see anything beyond.
Upon hearing the question from the half-corpse, he quickly replied, "I’ve come to deliver something to you."
After he finished speaking, the Minotaur opened the large bag he dragged over and dumped all the Deceitful Energy Pearls onto the half-corpse.
Seeing this, Gu Xi realized that the Minotaur was sent by Dominic.
However, the half-corpse was unaware of this and screamed there.
"I’m not asking you, what are you dumping down, take these things away... ah~~, take them away quickly!"
The only part of the half-corpse that could move was its head, and the Deceitful Energy Pearls dumped onto him provoked a significant reaction.
But he couldn’t throw the Deceitful Energy Pearls away, so he kept screaming there.
And the Minotaur did not obey the half-corpse’s commands.
Regardless, the Minotaur was Dominic’s subordinate.
His orders were to place the Deceitful Energy Pearls at the start of the Maze.
Even though the Minotaur didn’t want to admit it, the half-corpse was indeed at the Maze’s starting point.
So when the Deceitful Energy Pearls were dumped, they all fell onto the half-corpse.
The Deceitful Energy Pearls are considered a great supplement for the Undead.
But this half-corpse had never encountered Deceitful Energy Pearls before.
His power came entirely from his twisted psyche.
Now that the Deceitful Energy Pearls fell, the eerie part of him magnified.
At this moment, the balance that the half-corpse had maintained was disrupted.
The twisted psychic power within him was strengthened, a large amount of black smoke surged from his mouth, rapidly forming a humanoid shape, reminiscent of a black Lamp God.
The face of this humanoid shape was distorted, and upon rising from the half-corpse, it wanted to clear away the Deceitful Energy Pearls that had fallen on him.
But as soon as its hand touched the Deceitful Energy Pearls, they transformed into Mysterious Power and infused into the black humanoid form.
Upon seeing this, the Spirit Lamp Carrier ignited the Spirit Flame onto the half-corpse.
Even though the half-corpse had died, its psychic power remained.
The Spirit Flame of the Spirit Lamp relied on psychic power to burn, regardless of whether the psychic power is genuine or forged; if it’s on a grill, it can ignite.
Upon seeing the psychic power of the half-corpse absorbing the Deceitful Energy Pearls and growing larger, it knew this was the best fuel.
Thus, the Spirit Lamp immediately ignited the half-corpse.
As for the half-corpse’s psychic power being exhausted and what would become of him, the Spirit Lamp never considered.
In any case, the half-corpse’s existence wasn’t of great importance to the Mysterious Maze.
Aside from being bound at the Mysterious Maze’s center, Gu Xi saw no direct connection between the half-corpse and the Maze.
Gu Xi never expected that when the Spirit Lamp Carrier set the half-corpse ablaze, an upheaval occurred in the Demon City.
The massive Maze emerged throughout the Demon City’s streets and alleys.
The Maze in front integrated seamlessly with the Demon City’s streets and alleys.
The buildings in the Demon City were unaffected by the Maze, but the outside streets changed.
Stepping outside meant entering the Maze.
As the Maze appeared, dragon roars echoed from its depths.
Numerous dragons as thin as Bone Dragons, in black, red, and green, emerged flying from the Maze.
After just a couple of wing flaps, they struggled to fly and descended to the ground.
Fortunately, even without physical strength, they were dragons.
Upon hitting the ground, even crawling, they could scale the Maze’s walls.
When they regained some strength, they would flap a few times and fly again.
Stumbling along like this, all dragons finally managed to reach the castle.
They nearly collapsed at the castle’s gate, almost powerless to enter.
Luckily, there were still personnel stationed inside the castle.
Although Dominic was absent, the Cave Dwellers and Harpies inside immediately noticed the dragons.
To avoid being eaten by the dragons, they hurriedly delivered all the food from within the castle.
Of course, their method of delivering food was rather unique.
To ensure the feeders’ safety, they didn’t open the castle gates, but poured all the food from the castle’s top.
A large quantity of flesh fell upon the dragons.
The dragons couldn’t have cared less about this situation.
To them, eating was a priority now.
If they didn’t fill their bellies soon, they feared becoming the first batch of starved dragons.
Standing by a window on the tavern’s second floor, Gu Xi naturally noticed the situation outside.
When the Maze rose, he looked out the window.
Gu Xi was also taken aback by the Maze’s sudden appearance after the half-corpse was ignited.
He wasn’t quite sure of the current situation.
He quickly reached out to the Spirit Lamp, seeking understanding of potential issues on his end.
But just then, two more Minotaurs arrived, each carrying a large bag.
These bags also contained Deceitful Energy Pearls.
They were oblivious to the happenings outside the Maze and indifferent to all deep within.
They merely followed Dominic’s orders, delivering the recent batch of Deceitful Energy Pearls to the Maze’s depths.
Upon arrival, they dumped all the Deceitful Energy Pearls onto the half-corpse.
Ultimately, it all became fuel for the black humanoid formed from the twisted psyche amidst the Spirit Flame.
From the Spirit Lamp Carrier’s perspective, this black humanoid left nothing behind.
As for the half-corpse, it’s uncertain whether anything remains.
Now completely buried beneath the Deceitful Energy Pearls, it couldn’t make another sound.
After observing the rising Maze through the window, Gu Xi then turned to the White Bone Obelisk Carrier seated behind him.
"The situation has changed, initiate suppression now."
The White Bone Obelisk Carrier nodded, as there was a connection among the Equipment Carriers within the Flame Light Six Paths Lamp.
Seeing the half-corpse meant the White Bone Obelisk Carrier had ascertained its location.
Though the half-corpse’s role was still unclear, he immediately unleashed suppressive power upon it.
