Chapter 514: So It Was Her

  • Next Chapter

At that moment, Qiao Ling’Er scuttled over like a crab, her face wracked with pain at every step.

Mu Qingyun rushed to support her and asked urgently, “Miss Ling’Er, Ye Feng… he…”

Qiao Ling’Er shook her head bitterly. “He’s woken up, but his injuries are still extremely severe.”

Mu Qingyun froze on the spot.

Just then, Feng Qingwu spoke with difficulty. “It seems only the girl at the very top of the Exquisite Jade Pagoda can heal him now.”

“Where is that girl? Where are we supposed to find her?!” Mu Qingyun looked at Feng Qingwu, frantic with worry.

Feng Qingwu looked at Mu Qingyun and said, “Only you can go in now. With the people for the six levels in place, the pagoda will regain its consciousness and naturally guide Ye Feng to the girl.”

“The Grand Adjudicator could arrive at any moment. Do we really have time to find that girl now?” Mu Qingyun said helplessly.

“We have to try! Go, quickly! Otherwise, we won’t have a single chance!” Feng Qingwu urged Mu Qingyun, her voice sharp with desperation.

Mu Qingyun bit her lip, steeled her resolve, and turned to walk into the cave.

Inside the cave, Ye Feng was already awake. He was about to greet Mu Qingyun as she entered, but was stunned to see her immediately start taking off her clothes.

Ye Feng instantly understood her intentions. He blushed and quickly cried out, “Second Senior Sister, I’m your junior brother! We can’t do this!”

But Mu Qingyun had already removed all her clothes. She then lifted the cloth covering Ye Feng’s body and gently lowered herself onto him.

“Second Senior Sister, you can’t!” Ye Feng cried out urgently, trying to raise his hands to push her away. But he was too severely injured; he didn’t even have the strength to lift his arms. He could only watch helplessly as Mu Qingyun pressed down on him.

In the next moment, Ye Feng’s eyes shot wide open.

…

An hour later, Mu Qingyun emerged from the cave.

Feng Qingwu struggled to her feet and hurried over. “Second Senior Sister,” she called out urgently, “how is Ye Feng? Did the pagoda regain its consciousness?”

Before Mu Qingyun could speak, Ye Feng walked out from behind her. Everyone was astonished to see that his injuries had healed considerably.

Feng Qingwu cried out and rushed over, grabbing Ye Feng’s hands. “Ye Feng,” she exclaimed excitedly, “how much of your strength has recovered?”

Ye Feng looked at Feng Qingwu and said, “My cultivation has reached Daoist Saint Tier Nine Peak!”

Hearing this, Feng Qingwu’s expression immediately fell. “Only Daoist Saint Tier Nine Peak? Even with the boost from the Qilin Armor, you’d only be at Dao Emperor Tier One. That’s nowhere near enough to deal with the Grand Adjudicator!”

The group, who had been full of joy just a moment ago, felt as if a bucket of cold water had been dumped over their heads. They all stood there, stunned.

‘So all that was for nothing,’ they thought. ‘If the Grand Adjudicator shows up, we’re all still going to be crushed to death.’

Feng Qingwu suddenly snapped back to the matter at hand. She looked at Ye Feng and asked urgently, “Ye Feng, did the pagoda regain its consciousness?”

Everyone turned to look at Ye Feng, their eyes filled with anticipation.

Ye Feng’s next words finally allowed everyone to breathe a sigh of relief.

“The pagoda has regained its consciousness.”

The crowd erupted in cheers, but Ye Lingtian, who was standing behind them, looked crestfallen.

“This world is vast, spanning millions of miles! Where are we supposed to find that girl? Do you think the Grand Adjudicator will give us time? Impossible! It’s over, everything is over!”

But Ye Feng’s next words left everyone stunned.

A wry smile touched Ye Feng’s lips. “We don’t have to look for her,” he said. “She was far away, but now she’s right in front of us!”

With that, he pointed a finger at Rhea, who had recovered some of her strength, and said with that same wry smile:

“It’s her!”

Everyone’s eyes nearly popped out of their sockets. This was just too damn coincidental.

At that, Behemoth, who was standing nearby, burst out laughing. “Ah, Ye Feng, Ye Feng, you truly are the son-in-law heaven sent to me! There’s no escaping now!”

He then gave Rhea, whose pretty face was bright red, a gentle push. “Silly girl,” he called out with a laugh, “what are you waiting for? Go on!”

“Okay!” Rhea chirped excitedly and ran happily toward Ye Feng.

When she reached him, she spoke shyly, “I’ve only just recovered and don’t have any strength at all. You’ll have to be gentle with me!”

‘First with Qiao Ling’Er and Mu Qingyun, and now with Rhea… forget doing it, just the thought of it is monstrous.’

So, he looked at Rhea, blushing, and stammered, “Rhea, this… this isn’t appropriate, is it?”

Rhea’s eyes went wide. “So it was appropriate with them, but it’s not appropriate with me? Are you looking down on me? Fine, Ye Feng! We’ll see if I don’t finish you off today!”

With that, she grabbed Ye Feng by the waist and dragged him directly into the cave.

Ye Feng’s shouts echoed from inside the cave: “Didn’t you say you just recovered and have no strength? You’re fucking stronger than I am!”

No sooner had the words left his mouth than a bloodcurdling scream rang out. “IT’S BROKEN! IT’S BROKEN…!”

Ye Lingtian and Huo Yun, a couple of old-timers, exchanged a look. They knew exactly what was happening in the cave and couldn’t help but burst into laughter.

Just then, the entire world began to shake. An instant later, a dazzling red light shot up into the sky.

Everyone looked around in astonishment. ‘What’s happening? Is it an earthquake?’
