But the Grand Judge swung his broadsword, smashing it against the Qilin Spear with a roar. “Break!”

The crowd behind could only watch as Ye Feng was sent flying, spear and all, crashing hard into a massive, thick-trunked tree nearby.

A loud CRACK echoed as the massive tree was snapped in two, toppling over and kicking up a cloud of dust.

When the dust settled, everyone saw Ye Feng still standing, his right arm trembling uncontrollably. Blood was already trickling from the corner of his mouth.

“Ye Feng!” Rhea shrieked and tried to rush forward, but Behemoth held her back tightly. “Girl, that man is a master at the Tier Nine Peak of the Dao Venerable realm! If you go over there, you’ll just be throwing your life away!”

Rhea struggled desperately, screaming, “He’s my husband! How can I not go to him when he’s in trouble? Even if it means death, we will die together!”

Just as she was about to rush over, Ye Feng turned to look at her, a faint smile on his face as he spoke:

“Rhea, don’t worry. I can still fight!”

With that, he spun around and charged at the Grand Judge again, roaring, “Again!”

But the moment he got in front of the Grand Judge, he was sent flying again by another blow from the man’s sword.

But Ye Feng was impossibly resilient, turning and charging at the Grand Judge yet again.

He was sent flying countless times. Soon, Ye Feng’s body was covered in gashes deep enough to reveal bone, dripping with blood—a truly gruesome sight. Yet, he kept charging, and charging.

“Ye Feng, get back here! You’re going to get yourself killed!” Qiao Ling’Er shrieked.

Lin Peipei, Rhea, and Feng Qingwu also screamed, wanting to rush to Ye Feng’s side, but a tyrannical pressure held them back, preventing them from moving even a single step.

“Ye Feng!” The women all started to cry.

Ye Feng was sent flying again, but again, he charged right back.

Although he had sent Ye Feng flying once again, the Grand Judge was secretly groaning in misery.

Each time he blasted Ye Feng away, it consumed a massive amount of his Inner Strength.

Given his advanced age, even he couldn’t withstand such a high-intensity battle for long. His face had grown pale, and sweat poured down his body like rain.

Seeing the battered and broken Ye Feng charging at him yet again, the Grand Judge’s face twisted in exasperation. He couldn’t help but curse, “How the hell do you have so much stamina?”

Ye Feng looked at him and chuckled. “It’s great to be young!”

“Damn you!” The Grand Judge exploded with fury. There was nothing an old man hated more than someone flaunting their youth and boundless energy. This cursed Ye Feng was twisting the knife right where it hurt!

Enraged, the Grand Judge raised his broadsword high and swung down at Ye Feng with all his might.

He poured every last ounce of his strength into this strike, determined to cut Ye Feng down where he stood.

Ye Feng’s eyes flashed. ‘Now’s my chance!’

Ye Feng no longer met the Grand Judge’s strength with his own. Stomping his feet, he retreated like a flash of lightning. Then, with a mighty roar, he thrust his long spear toward the Grand Judge’s heart.

The Grand Judge sneered. “An insect like you dares to show off in front of me? Just die!”

With that, he brought his broadsword crashing down on the spear.

But at the crucial moment, Ye Feng pulled his right hand back slightly. The spear retreated three feet, dodging the Grand Judge’s heavy, powerful blow.

The Grand Judge’s strike hit empty air, and he stumbled forward a couple of steps, leaving him wide open.

Ye Feng’s eyes lit up. With a roar, he channeled all his remaining strength into his spear.

Instantly, a three-foot-long beam of light erupted from the tip of the Qilin Spear. The beam shot forward in an instant, piercing toward the Grand Judge’s heart.

The Grand Judge sensed a fatal danger. He screamed and tried to dodge, but he was utterly exhausted. He was powerless to move, and could only watch as the beam of light plunged into his chest.

With an explosive BANG, a foot-wide hole was blasted through the Grand Judge’s chest, utterly obliterating his heart.

The Grand Judge let out an inhuman shriek as his body went rigid. He stared at Ye Feng, his eyes filled with disbelief. “How… how do you still have such powerful Inner Strength?”

Ye Feng chuckled. “Did you forget I have the Exquisite Jade Pagoda?”

“The Exquisite Jade Pagoda!” A flicker of greed flashed in the Grand Judge’s eyes, but his pupils began to dilate. In his last moments, he glared at Ye Feng and snarled through gritted teeth:

“You think you’ve won? You’re dreaming. Just you wait, the Chief Judge will come for you! Your Exquisite Jade Pagoda will become his prize! Just you wait… you wait…”

Before he could finish his sentence, his body crashed to the ground. It twitched for a moment, then went still.

Everyone on the scene stared at Ye Feng, completely stunned.

Even empowered by the Qilin Set, his cultivation had only just reached the Dao Venerable Tier Nine.

Yet he had managed to kill the Grand Judge, a master at the Tier Nine Peak. How… how was that possible?

The girls behind watched Ye Feng, their faces a mess of tears. They knew he had achieved this victory purely through his indomitable fighting spirit.

Just then, Ye Feng turned his head to look at them and managed a faint smile. “I didn’t let any of you down!”

As he finished speaking, his mouth opened and he coughed up a great spurt of blood. The next moment, his eyes rolled back in his head, and he collapsed.
