At that moment, a red-robed elder with a full head of golden hair looked down on Behemoth and his men, his voice dripping with contempt. “A pack of ants like you dares to cause trouble for the Celestial Decree? Since you’re so eager to die, I’ll oblige you. None of you are leaving here today. I will make you understand the consequences of offending the Celestial Decree!”

With a wave of his hand, he gave a cold command. “Attack! Kill them all—leave no one alive!”

“Yes, sir!” several red-robed elders responded in unison, surging toward Behemoth and his men.

Before the elders even reached them, a terrifying pressure washed over the group. The soldiers further back were sent flying by the force, and even a powerhouse like Behemoth found his breathing becoming labored.

Qiao Dongliang’s heart sank. ‘With such terrifying power, who could possibly stand against them?’

But just then, a figure stepped forward, shielding the others. He faced the red-robed elders and spoke calmly.

“If you want to touch my brothers, you’ll have to get through me first.”

Ye Feng!

The golden-haired elder looked at Ye Feng and chuckled. “Ye Feng. The Grand Judge predicted you would come, but I never thought you’d arrive so quickly. I must admit, I’m a little surprised.”

“Still, this works out for the best. The Grand Judge can obtain the Exquisite Jade Pagoda that much sooner and increase his power. Then, he will truly control the world and become its one true master! Haha…”

“And who are you?” Ye Feng asked the golden-haired elder, his voice cold.

Beside him, Qiao Dongliang looked at Ye Feng, his voice trembling as he called out.

“Ye Feng… he’s the head of the Nine Grand Celestial Judges—the Grand Judge!”

Ye Feng nodded. He looked at the Grand Judge and asked, “At your rank, you should know most of what goes on within the Celestial Decree. So I’ll ask you: Have my six masters fallen into your hands?”

“They have!” The Grand Judge’s arrogant voice boomed before Ye Feng had even finished speaking.

“They came down from their mountain without permission and went on a killing spree. They violated heaven’s will, so they must face the appropriate punishment. Right now, they’re locked in our dungeons, suffering a fate worse than death! Haha…”

“You dared to touch my masters…” Ye Feng’s voice was bone-chillingly cold as he stared at the Grand Judge. “You all deserve to die.”

“Haha…” The moment Ye Feng finished, the Grand Judge burst into unrestrained laughter.

“You want to kill us? You, alone? Heh. Even your masters weren’t capable of it. What makes you think you are?”

He gestured to the eight red-robed elders at his side, his voice booming with arrogance.

“Let me introduce you. These are eight Celestial Judges. The very weakest among them is a Tier Four Dao Venerable!”

Then he pointed to his own chest. “And do you know what my cultivation realm is? I’ll tell you. Tier Nine Dao Venerable.”

“There are few in this world who can match us.”

“Do you really think the Celestial Decree enforces the laws of this world with just words? Let me tell you, we don’t. We do it with real power.”

“Now, do you still think you have any right to be arrogant here? I’m telling you, you don’t!”

“Hand over the Exquisite Jade Pagoda, and do it nicely. If we’re in a good mood, we might just let these ants behind you go free. But if you’re disobedient, then not a single one of you is leaving here today. I promise you that!”

“Hand over the Exquisite Jade Pagoda!”

“Hand over the Exquisite Jade Pagoda!”

“Hand over the Exquisite Jade Pagoda!”

The other Judges behind him roared in unison, and a terrifying killing intent instantly filled the air.

Ye Feng spoke calmly, “If you want what’s mine, come and take it yourself.”

A bald elder stared at Ye Feng and said grimly, “You were given a chance to save face, but you refused it. In that case, I’ll be the one to send you on your way!”

He then opened his mouth and bellowed at Ye Feng.

“ROAR!”

Instantly, a visible sonic wave shot toward Ye Feng.

The shockwave blasted the nearby trees, and the massive trunks exploded into a shower of splinters. The power of the attack was self-evident.

Seeing this, Qiao Dongliang shrieked in terror, “The Eighth Judge’s Lion’s Roar! That’s the Eighth Judge’s Lion’s Roar!”

Seeing the color drain from Qiao Dongliang’s face, the nearby Ye Lingtian quickly asked, “Is that Lion’s Roar really so powerful?”

Qiao Dongliang’s face was ashen. “Extremely. The last time a 100,000-strong Mercenary Corps offended the Celestial Decree, the Eighth Judge was sent alone. With a single roar, all one hundred thousand of them exploded into a mist of blood.”

Hearing this, Ye Lingtian’s face paled as well. ‘So powerful… Can Ye Feng handle it?’

The words had barely left his mouth when the Lion’s Roar stopped short, followed immediately by a blood-curdling scream.

Qiao Dongliang looked up, confused. In the next instant, his eyes nearly popped out of his head. To his astonishment, he saw a clean hole right through the Eighth Judge’s forehead. Blood sprayed from the wound—a gruesome sight.

The Eighth Judge stared blankly at Ye Feng, his eyes filled with disbelief. An instant later, his pupils dilated, and his body crashed to the ground. He was dead.

His eyes remained open, even in death.

The nearby Seventh Judge stared at Ye Feng, his expression one of utter disbelief. “You… You’re also a Tier Five Dao Venerable…”

But an instant later, a sneer crossed his face. “It seems that Exquisite Jade Pagoda is truly a heaven-defying treasure. All the more reason we can’t let you continue to grow. Otherwise, things might actually become difficult to control…”

Before he could finish his sentence, Ye Feng’s right hand chopped down. A flash of sword light flared, and the Seventh Judge was sliced in two.

Ye Feng looked down at the body and said coldly, “So noisy.”
