Chapter 1395: Chapter 1395: Saved the Wrong Person

"So Nian Nian is this impressive!" Shen Qing looked at Xia Yinian, her smile warm and kindly.

"I wouldn’t call it an exchange. My Medical Skill isn’t very advanced; I’m far behind those of you who are going to take part in the Alchemy Competition."

"But I am a little curious, Han, bringing Nian Nian over here—was it really just so we could exchange Medical Skill?"

Shen Qing shifted her gaze and looked at Jing Hanye.

It seemed Xia Yinian thought of something; with a faint smile she said softly, "I suppose it’s because the two of us look alike."

"A few days ago, when I first arrived in Bing City, I was kidnapped and taken up the mountain. It was Young Master Jing who saved me. Looks like he mistook me for someone else at the time, otherwise he wouldn’t have suddenly gotten out of the car to rescue a stranger."

Xia Yinian looked at Jing Hanye, her lovely brows faintly knitting.

Jing Hanye smiled without answering her directly.

"Oh, so that’s how it is." Shen Qing nodded.

"Sister Qing, you two really do look a lot alike. Could Nian Nian be your relative?" Jing Hanye looked at her and asked softly.

The always indifferent Crown Prince, in front of Sister Qing, was practically like an obedient baby.

But that wasn’t the point; the point was what he’d just said.

Xia Yinian suddenly froze for a moment, her gaze landing on Shen Qing.

"Sister Qing, are you a native of Bing City? Do you still have any family?"

Even though she knew it was impossible for her to have such a young Mom, after hearing Young Master Jing say that, Xia Yinian couldn’t help asking.

"I’m an orphan; I’ve had no family since I was little, and I’ve just lived like this for over thirty years. I moved here a few years ago."

Shen Qing didn’t shy away from mentioning her background; after all, after so many years, she was used to it.

"Sister Qing is my family." Jing Hanye seemed not to like Shen Qing saying that.

"Right, I’m your older sister. I’m the Crown Prince’s older sister—how could I not be happy?" Shen Qing looked at Jing Hanye, smiling in delight.

Xia Yinian pressed her lips together lightly, not sure what she should say.

Back when she found out she wasn’t the Xia Family’s flesh and blood, she’d been sad for a long time.

Sister Qing was not only an orphan, she didn’t even have a man by her side who loved her; it really was pitiful.

Fortunately, with the Crown Prince around, at least she wasn’t that lonely.

Even though this was their first meeting, Xia Yinian still felt that Sister Qing gave her a very warm, familiar feeling.

Maybe it was because the two of them really did look so much alike.

However, if Sister Qing had never gone through anything like memory loss, then there was no way she could doubt what Sister Qing said.

It was just that she wanted a Mom too badly, so she couldn’t help overthinking.

"Nian Nian looks only sixteen or seventeen, right? You two Brothers eyeing her like that—isn’t that not so appropriate?"

Shen Qing glanced at the two men, the smile on her face still bright.

"Sister Qing, I turned eighteen today." Xia Yinian volunteered the answer.

She didn’t explain anything about her relationship with Beicheng.

Anyway, Seventh Young Master was so domineering that anyone who wasn’t blind could tell their relationship was out of the ordinary.

Sister Qing was probably saying this just because she was the first girl the Crown Prince had ever brought back.

Looked at this way, the maid’s words weren’t entirely baseless.

So the Crown Prince really had mistaken her for someone else that day, even saved the wrong person.

Xia Yinian truly felt a bit grateful that she and Sister Qing had faces that were at least eighty percent alike.

Otherwise, that day she very likely would have frozen to death on that mountain, and they might not have found her until spring came and the ice and snow melted.

Though she seemed to have forgotten that she also had a very powerful man who adored her to no end.

"Mm, you should be calling me Aunt. I’m a full twenty years older than you." Shen Qing looked at Xia Yinian.
