Chapter 1357: Chapter 1344: A New Way to Make Money?
Luofeng was introducing the third-generation flying motorcycle to Shen Na, Bai Ningbing, Wang Yanran, and the others.
After the introduction was over, Wang Yanran said excitedly, "So today we’re really going to overlook all of Shanghai from up in the sky?"
"Of course we are!" Luofeng nodded and said.
"But for everyone’s safety, you have to wear safety helmets and fasten the safety belts, and I’ve also arranged drivers for you!" Luofeng added.
"No problem, we’ll follow the safety rules!" Wang Yanran answered first.
"Mm, mm!" Wang Yanran chimed in.
Luofeng glanced at the time; it was already a little past nine. He called out, "Make the most of the time and play, try to fly for two hours. Otherwise it’ll be really hot at noon!"
Then.
The staff and the three girls all started getting ready.
Shen Na and Wang Yanran were both assigned female pilots to take them.
As for Bai Ningbing, Luofeng himself would be piloting the flying motorcycle. Obviously, you take your own girlfriend for a ride, right?
When she put on the helmet and wrapped her arms around Luofeng’s waist, Bai Ningbing said nervously, "Luofeng, going so high into the sky—aren’t you scared at all?"
Luofeng actually was a bit afraid of heights.
Luofeng laughed and said, "I’m a little scared, yeah, but the third-gen flying motorcycle’s auto system is super high-tech. Before takeoff you can set a return point. Even if you mess up the controls, it can still get you back safely!"
But in reality, that wasn’t the main point.
Luofeng’s trump card was the Danger Prediction Card.
As long as there’s any kind of danger, it’ll warn him, so Luofeng isn’t afraid of flying up high.
Slowly, the flying motorcycle began to take off.
As the altitude climbed.
The buildings on the ground grew smaller and smaller.
The scenery in their field of view also grew richer and richer.
Bai Ningbing sighed and said, "I’ve never seen Shanghai like this before. So from the sky, our Shanghai actually looks this beautiful."
"Looking down over all of Shanghai from the sky is definitely pretty great. Speaking of which, I think I’ve just found a very profitable line of business!" Luofeng said with a laugh as he piloted the flying motorcycle.
"Huh? What kind of super profitable line of business?" Bai Ningbing asked, confused.
"Baby, you think overlooking all of Shanghai from the sky is pretty great, right?" Luofeng asked.
"Yeah, it’s nice," Bai Ningbing nodded.
"Then how about we set up an aerial tourism company—wouldn’t that definitely make money?" Luofeng said.
Bai Ningbing hesitated for a moment, then shook her head in denial. "I don’t think it can really make money, right?"
"Huh? Why not? Tell me what you’re thinking!" Luofeng asked.
Bai Ningbing was a journalism major after all, so she started explaining, "When I was taking my major courses, we studied some law. Right now, airspace management in Daxia is still pretty strict. Stuff like aerial tourism is likely to involve official security issues, so trying to make money off this probably isn’t that realistic!"
"Our little silly girl actually knows that much?" Luofeng joked playfully.
"I am not silly!" Bai Ningbing said, pouting coquettishly.
"Okay, okay, you’re not!" Luofeng laughed. "I know there are regulatory issues, but we can apply for fixed routes so we don’t interfere with official security concerns!"
"Next, we can restrict and inspect the photography equipment that tourists bring for aerial tours. All of that can be clearly stated to them in advance!" Luofeng said.
The logic was actually very simple.
They were worried about people with ulterior motives.
Using this kind of opportunity to send out information from the air.
"And finally there’s identity screening for the tourists—for example, we should ban foreign citizens from participating!" Luofeng continued.
With all these kinds of restrictions in place.
It would be a very effective way to solve the problems.
"If we do things the way you’re saying, then it should be fine. So you’re planning to launch this aerial tourism project, right?" Bai Ningbing said.
Luofeng shook his head. "I’m not really sure yet. It’s just an idea for now."
And Luofeng had thought it through as well.
These flying motorcycles are that expensive.
Which means the fees have to be expensive too.
If it’s expensive, then not many people can afford to play.
Which means the profits wouldn’t be that impressive.
But in Luofeng’s view, if he sets it up later, what he’s looking at isn’t the profit; it’s the rallying power of the group, the status, the influence, and so on.
He really didn’t care about that bit of profit.
"Luofeng, is our flight path today completely unrestricted?" Bai Ningbing asked.
Luofeng answered firmly, "No restrictions. I already filed the application yesterday. Today we’re flying free, though of course we still can’t go into no-fly zones—for example, your residential compound, there are some no-fly areas over there!"
Bai Ningbing’s complex was a high-end development.
Lots of rooftops were designated no-fly zones.
For example, the rooftop of their large flat where Bai Ningbing lives is a no-fly zone. Once you get close, the flight system will send a warning.
Around 11 a.m., the three flying motorcycles returned once more to the parking bay on the third floor of Essence Pharmaceutical Company.
The three girls.
Had thoroughly experienced what it felt like to overlook all of Shanghai from the sky.
After Shen Na, Wang Yanran, and Bai Ningbing got off, they kept chattering about what it felt like up there, all grinning from ear to ear.
Luofeng cut in, "Ladies, pause the flying motorcycle discussion for a bit. We need to decide what we’re eating for lunch. Once you’ve sorted that out, you can keep on talking, okay?"
Bai Ningbing nodded and asked, "Yan Ran, Nana, what do you two want to eat for lunch?"
Before Shen Na and Wang Yanran could answer, Bai Ningbing continued, "Should I keep taking you to try more local Shanghai cuisine? Or do you want something in the Jingzhou style? Or maybe try some Sichuan food?"
Wang Yanran’s expression shifted. "Let’s skip Sichuan food. I really can’t handle spicy," she said.
Shen Na echoed, "Yeah, nothing too numbing and spicy. Last time Ningbing took us to a spicy Hot Pot place, the impact was way too strong!"
Luofeng smiled. "Alright, alright, then we won’t do Sichuan food today. Let’s keep it light. Baby, what do you think about Zhen Zheng Fish Restaurant?"
Luofeng looked over at Bai Ningbing.
