Chapter 122: Don’t Worry! I Don’t Mind Your Smelly Feet
Chapter 122: Chapter 122: Don’t Worry! I Don’t Mind Your Smelly Feet
Under the streetlights at the corner of the intersection, Xia Wanqing’s voice pitched up slightly. "I... I’ve heard about the chaos in the cycling community, but what you just described is... is way too absurd!"
"I saw it on Little Blue Book and thought it was total nonsense at the time," Su Yunzhou continued. "They even directly assign rooming arrangements. Tsk, tsk, young people nowadays really know how to play."
Xia Wanqing looked up at Su Yunzhou, her expression shifting slightly as if to say that Mr. Su was quite young himself!
Su Yunzhou understood her look and gave a sheepish smile, quickly changing the subject. "So, what time should we meet tomorrow afternoon?"
Xia Wanqing estimated the time, figuring she should be able to get the contract drawn up in the morning. "Would 2:00 p.m. tomorrow work?"
"Sure!"
Seeing him nod, Xia Wanqing rejoiced inwardly. With this, the major task was about ninety percent complete. Her tense nerves relaxed considerably. Staring at the sleek lines of the road bike, she asked softly, "Could you let me ride it for a bit?"
"Huh? Ah!" Su Yunzhou froze for a second, his expression shifting as he realized his thoughts had gone into the gutter. He quickly nodded. "Sure, you can ride it!"
Seeing his reaction, Xia Wanqing realized her phrasing might have sounded suggestive. Her face instantly flushed crimson as she stammered, "I... I meant ride the luxury bike."
They came to a halt, standing mere inches apart, and the atmosphere suddenly grew somewhat ambiguous.
The corners of Su Yunzhou’s mouth curled up. "I was also talking about riding the bike! Come on, give it a try!" With that, he grabbed the handlebars of her road bike to steady it.
Her cheeks slightly flushed, Xia Wanqing looked at the 880,000-yuan Trick Road Rock Dragon Country Special Edition with shining eyes. As a cycling enthusiast, she truly wanted to take a luxury bike like this for a spin. "Don’t worry! My cycling skills are solid!"
Su Yunzhou laughed heartily. "Let’s go! Charge!"
Taking her cue, Xia Wanqing cooperatively gave a gentle push on the pedals, slowly lowering her center of gravity as she steadily rode forward. Su Yunzhou followed suit, hopping onto her bike, but the moment he sat down on the saddle, he bounced right back up. He thought to himself that the beautiful woman’s seat was a bit hot!
Looking at Xia Wanqing ahead of him, her face lit up with excitement and a radiant smile, he felt that the married woman in this state seemed even more cute and charming.
But it seemed like she was going a bit too fast!
Suddenly, the HONK HONK HONK of a car horn blared from the intersection. Xia Wanqing’s body jolted, and she nearly fell off. Just as she managed to steady herself, she let out a string of panicked cries. "Ah! Ah!! Ah—"
Not good. Su Yunzhou immediately sped up. Just as she was about to lose her balance, he grabbed the handlebars of the road bike with one hand, successfully helping her stay upright.
Xia Wanqing’s brows were tightly knit, her forehead covered in sweat.
"What’s wrong?" Su Yunzhou reached out in concern, supporting her weight as he carelessly leaned the bike against the ground, his eyes full of worry. They were so close to each other that they could easily hear each other breathing.
"I’m sorry! I suddenly got a cramp. Good thing the bike is okay!"
Xia Wanqing’s eyes were wide, her heart pounding violently in her chest. That had been dangerous—if she had really crashed, she wouldn’t have been able to afford the compensation for such a pricey bike.
Su Yunzhou breathed a sigh of relief. "Who cares about the bike? If you had gotten hurt, that would have been a real problem!"
"Thank you! Hss—" Xia Wanqing clutched her foot and slumped to the ground. An expression of pain washed over her face as she gritted her teeth. "I’m... fine... It’s probably just because of the intense exercise today... muscle spasms..."
Seeing this, Su Yunzhou also sat on the ground. "Let me massage it for you!"
"Ah!" Xia Wanqing shook her head like a rattle drum. "No, no, no!"
Knowing she was nervous, Su Yunzhou teased her, "Don’t worry! I won’t mind if your feet stink!"
Xia Wanqing felt both embarrassed and annoyed. "My... my feet... don’t stink..."
"Right, right! A fairy’s feet never stink!" Su Yunzhou went straight to work with his hands.
"Hss!" Xia Wanqing sucked in a sharp breath of cold air. "Be a little gentler."
"Okay!" Su Yunzhou agreed verbally, but the force of his hands didn’t lessen in the slightest. Seeing that Xia Wanqing was struggling to bear it, he withdrew his hands, gave a cheeky laugh, and rubbed his palms together to generate heat before continuing. "Bear with it a little longer!"
"Mhm," Xia Wanqing murmured, her voice as soft as a mosquito’s buzz, though she could clearly feel the pain easing as he massaged her leg.

Su Yunzhou’s warm palms pressed against her calf and began to knead. Under the dim streetlights, the faint blue veins beneath her snow-white skin were barely visible. An unbidden thought popped into his mind, wondering what it would be like if she wore flesh-colored pantyhose like the married women in Japanese manga. He immediately shot the idea down. This was the business partner he was counting on to make a fortune. He absolutely could not let things get weird.
Watching Su Yunzhou suddenly shake his head, Xia Wanqing discreetly sniffed the air. There was obviously no weird smell! What did that expression mean? But she was too shy and embarrassed to ask. Of course, even if she did ask, she wouldn’t have gotten the answer she wanted.
A few minutes later, the muscle spasms in Xia Wanqing’s calf were completely relieved. Strangely, his fingers seemed to possess a special kind of Magic Power. At first, she hadn’t noticed it because of the pain, but now she could distinctly feel a tingling, numbing electric current trailing from his fingertips, making her body go soft and stirring up certain desires...
Xia Wanqing’s face flushed. She stole a glance at his profile and felt an inexplicable wave of guilt. He was so focused on giving her a massage, yet here she was, letting her imagination run wild.
[Affinity +2]
Su Yunzhou’s movements faltered. Why had her Affinity gone up again? A simple massage had just bumped it up by five points. Wouldn’t doing something else max it out in one go? However, looking at her small, cherry-like mouth, he mused that if he tried, it might really go "all the way down," just like the married women in Japanese manga.
Unable to bear it any longer, Xia Wanqing waved her hand. "Th... that’s enough! Thank you!"
Su Yunzhou smiled and stopped what he was doing, quietly heaving a sigh of relief. For him, this kind of massage was also a massive test of his willpower! Thank goodness it hadn’t started raining again, or else it would have really turned into a scene full of "iku iku Masamis."
Xia Wanqing rolled her ankle a few times and found that it was mostly fine. However, the two of them didn’t get back on their bikes immediately. Instead, they walked side by side, slowly pushing their bikes forward as the warm orange streetlights cast their long, stretched-out shadows onto the pavement.
It didn’t take long for them to reach the intersection by the Celestial Paradise Holiday Hotel.
"Thank you for walking me home, fairy," Su Yunzhou teased.
Xia Wanqing let out a charming giggle. "You’re welcome. See you tomorrow, then!"
Su Yunzhou smiled and waved his hand. "Stay safe on the road, and let me know when you get home!"
Xia Wanqing turned her head to look at him, hesitated for a moment, and then nodded. "Mhm."
She then rode off, leaving only a captivating silhouette that disappeared around the street corner.
Meanwhile, on the other side of town in the Fenglin District.
Tao Shu tossed and turned in bed. She couldn’t stop her mind from running wild, worried that Wanqing, who had finally managed to move on, might fall into a new trap.
"Sigh." She let out a long breath and gently nudged her husband in the dark.
He didn’t react at all; instead, the faint sound of snoring drifted over. Annoyed, Tao Shu gave him a light kick. "Stop pretending to be asleep! My chest feels so tight from worrying."
Her husband feigned a yawn, putting on a bleary-eyed expression. "What’s wrong with you? Don’t wake the child!"
That single sentence made Tao Shu feel even more unsettled. "Hmph." She turned away, hugging her pillow in a huff.
Her husband’s face flushed with awkwardness. He briefly mulled over his words before ultimately choosing to remain silent. He knew what his wife was worried about, but this kind of thing was really hard to address. If he said too much, he was afraid of making others uncomfortable. If he said too little, he’d feel uncomfortable himself. It was a tough spot to be in!
In truth, as long as the contract was successfully signed tomorrow and the money was securely in the bag, everything would be fine. They just absolutely couldn’t afford to lose the "you-know-what" along with the "other you-know-what."
