Then Justin Kingston looked at Joanna Sawyer’s injured leg and asked with concern, "Are you okay yourself?"

"I can be discharged tomorrow. It’s great." The girl smiled, "I’ll report to the company after being discharged."

Justin Kingston nodded reassuringly, "Then call my assistant at the company entrance tomorrow, he’ll come downstairs to meet you and take you to the office to familiarize yourself with the environment, and will handle the job transition."

"Okay, thank you, CEO Kingston."

Justin Kingston looked at her, then stood up and said, "Thank you today, I shall leave now, you should rest well."

"CEO Kingston!" The girl anxiously repeated, "Please make sure to keep your promise! Don’t mention the past to my sister!"

"Don’t worry, I keep all my promises, nothing can change that."

He glanced at her, turned around, and left.

The girl watched his silhouette disappear, choosing to trust him.

Why was he so interested in matters related to her sister? And why delve into events from ten years ago?

In the hospital lobby downstairs, Abby Sawyer stepped towards the elevator, here to visit her sister.

In the upstairs corridor, Justin Kingston pressed the elevator button and walked in.

Downstairs, the other elevator door opened, and Abby Sawyer stepped inside.

One elevator ascended, while the other descended, causing them to miss each other at this point.

The door to Joanna Sawyer’s ward was gently pushed open again, and her sister Abby came in.

"Sis." The girl’s heart skipped a beat, hoping she didn’t bump into CEO Kingston outside.

"Bibi, how could you be so careless?" Abby Sawyer worriedly came to the bedside, frowned and asked with concern, "Does it hurt? What did the doctor say?"

The girl replied with a smile, "Sis, don’t worry, the cast will be removed tomorrow and I’ll be discharged."

"Why didn’t you tell me you were hurt?"

"It’s just a minor injury, you’re so busy too." The girl leaned back against the bed and reached out to her, "It’s okay now, see how worried you are."

Abby Sawyer sat down on the chair beside the bed and held her sister’s hand, "From now on, tell me everything, okay?"

"At your command! By the way, Sis, are you adapting well to the new job?" The girl curiously asked, "Is Angel easy to get along with?"

"It’s okay." Abby Sawyer looked at her sister and went straight to the point, "I came today to ask you about something else."

"What is it?"

"Before I lost my memory, did anything significant happen?" Abby Sawyer asked curiously, "What was my life like before the car accident?"

What’s going on?

CEO Kingston just asked, and now she’s asking?

What exactly happened?

"Bibi?"

"What kind of life do you have? You were just a college student, your life hadn’t really started yet."

But Abby Sawyer didn’t think so. She felt that CEO Kingston intentionally sought her out and said those inexplicable things, it probably wasn’t a coincidence.

But she was unable to recall anything about the past and felt a bit lost.

"Sister." Joanna Sawyer holding her hand softly brought her wandering thoughts back.

She comforted, "Don’t think too much, life now is good, right? We should seize the happiness at present. Besides, the memory you lost isn’t particularly important, it was all studying before high school, living in a sea of books, waking up early and staying up late, so exhausting! Looking back on senior year, it still feels tiring! I’m really envious of you."

Her sister’s cheerful personality and chirpy guidance led Abby Sawyer to feel a bit relieved; perhaps she was overthinking?

She didn’t pursue the matter further, maybe Joanna was right, capturing present happiness is most important.
