Chapter 1902: Accessing Surveillance Footage

Finally, the meeting ended, and CEO Kingston walked out of the conference room, his long legs striding over here. Because of work matters, his gaze seemed to deepen.

Tess Tate was momentarily intimidated, not daring to go forward, and just stood there dumbfounded.

As he approached, Justin Kingston noticed her and was a bit surprised. Their eyes met, and Tess seemed to have something to discuss with him.

Justin’s expression softened as he put away all hostility and stood in front of her.

"CEO Kingston, I just saw Abby Sawyer, just now! At our company!"

Tess said excitedly, "She came in with Angel, but... but she doesn’t remember me!"

Justin paused for a moment and asked, "Are you sure you didn’t mistake her for someone else?"

The girl shook her head vigorously, "No, I’m very sure it’s her."

"I understand." Justin said no more and quickly strode towards the CEO’s office with an innate presence.

But when he entered the office, only Jerry Garcia was inside, organizing contracts.

"Where’s Angel?" Justin asked, "Has she left?"

Jerry replied with a smile, "She just left. The contract is signed, and she is very satisfied with the terms we offered. Rumor has it she’s difficult, but it seems untrue."

Jerry continued, "She will wait for the notification of the commencement ceremony, we’ll contact her by phone then."

"Did you see the woman accompanying her?" Justin’s gaze landed on him, "She didn’t come alone."

"Yes, she brought an assistant, what’s up?" Jerry thought for a moment, "I felt that girl looked familiar but couldn’t recall where I’d seen her."

"She might be Abby Sawyer." Justin spoke calmly.

"..." It startled Jerry! Could there be such a coincidence?

Both men exchanged glances, Jerry seemed a bit surprised, "Did you see her?"

"No."

"Then..."

"Check the surveillance tapes." Justin needed to confirm if the person in the photo he had seen was indeed Abby Sawyer.

"Understood."

Jerry reacted quickly and got the surveillance for him.

Two minutes later, the first footage displayed the company lobby downstairs, showing Angel and the girl entering. Justin clearly saw the girl’s face.

He also saw Tess rush towards her and hug her tightly.

This girl was the same as the one in the photo. Though ten years had passed, Justin recognized her instantly. But she didn’t recognize Tess?

What’s going on?

"Get me in contact with Angel, I want to see her." Justin instructed, "Right now."

"Yes."

Jerry quickly opened the contract, finding her phone number, and dialed it immediately.

Angel already had Jerry’s number saved on her phone. It was surprising; she had just left the company, and a call was coming through?

Angel did not dare to delay and quickly answered, "Hello, Assistant Garcia, what can I do for you?"

"Where are you?" Jerry asked, "CEO Kingston has concluded the meeting and wants to meet with both of you."

Oh my!

What an immense honor!

"We just left, returning right away, five minutes!" With that, she hung up, quickly telling the driver, "Old Chapman, turn around! Back to Kingston Group!"

"Sure, Miss Keira."

Thus, the driver turned around at the next intersection.

She urged from the backseat, "Drive faster, CEO Kingston’s time is precious. Let’s not make him wait too long!"

"But there’s a speed limit here."

"..." She was anxious but didn’t press further.

Abby Sawyer glanced, turning her gaze slightly, looking at the woman beside her. She saw her clearly smiling, even taking out a mirror from her bag to check herself. For meeting CEO Kingston, she seemed full of anticipation.
