Soon, Jocelyn Morgan, dressed in a white dress and high heels, appeared at the entrance of the CEO’s office. She politely knocked on the open glass door.

Justin Kingston looked up, "Come in!"

Jocelyn stepped inside, a lovely smile on her face, "Hello, CEO Kingston."

"Have a seat, don’t stand on ceremony." He had already prepared a chair for her, right across from his desk.

Jocelyn walked over and took a seat in the chair.

Justin handed her the contract, his voice gentle, "Our screenwriter team has thoroughly analyzed your book. This healing style of writing is very popular among today’s young readers. We even held several workshops, extracting its highlights and selling points, and unanimously agree it has great adaptation value."

As the original author, hearing such affirmation naturally made her very happy, "Thank you."

"So I hope to acquire your film adaptation rights." Justin said earnestly, "We plan to make a TV series, divided into two parts."

Jocelyn wasn’t short on money, but this was her dream, so she was especially delighted and didn’t even ask how much the rights would cost.

She simply said, "I haven’t written the final ending yet, but I’m about to finish soon."

"I know, we’ve read the book."

Jocelyn honestly told him, "I plan to bring along my laptop while traveling around the world, setting off in the next couple of days. I have conceived three possible endings, but none are entirely satisfactory. I’m hoping to spark some inspiration while I’m away."

"There’s no rush. We can shoot the first part first. Your story is clearly divided into two segments." Justin had done his homework, "Take a look at the contract first; we all trust that you’ll give the story a perfect ending."

"Alright."

Jocelyn took the contract and opened it, reading it carefully.

Justin got up and poured her a cup of coffee.

"Thank you." The girl looked up at him briefly and quickly finished reading the contract, "I think the contract terms are fine. I accept them. Thank you, CEO Kingston, for your affirmation."

"To be honest, I’m a businessman. It’s not just the work that caught my eye but also the amount of traffic you bring." Justin was straightforward, sitting back in his office chair, speaking candidly, "This is called a strategic partnership."

Jocelyn was aware of this point too.

Since marrying the King of Lorelei, her status had skyrocketed.

But she was confident enough to believe that her work is still the most crucial factor. If the work is not good, the adaptation would only draw criticism. The Kingston Group wouldn’t invest lightly, as big companies care more about reputation than money.

"If everything looks good, go ahead and sign the contract."

"I think this copyright fee..." Jocelyn looked up at him and softly said, "is a bit too high." It was significantly above market price.

"Have you estimated how much your influence is worth?" Justin asked her.

"..."

Meeting his gaze, Jocelyn couldn’t help but smile.

"Be confident, and sign if everything’s okay." He told her.

The girl took the pen and signed her name at the bottom of the contract, then pressed her fingerprint.

Justin also took out a stamp from the drawer and marked it next to her signature.

The contract officially took effect.

"I also want to buy your audio and comic rights." As he spoke, he took out two more contracts from the drawer and handed them to her.

Jocelyn was surprised, "Full rights development?"

"Can you trust The Kingston Group with this?" Justin looked at her sincerely with a calm expression.

Jocelyn couldn’t help but smile, "Of course, I must trust you." She didn’t even look at how much the rights fees were, and directly turned to the end of the contract, signing her name.
