Turns Out, I’m In A Villain Clan!

Chapter 335 A Clash in the Palace Hall

Chapter 335 A Clash in the Palace Hall

The Second Prince struggled violently, his hands clawing at Bai Zihan’s wrist as his feet kicked helplessly against the air.

His vision blurred-his face flushed red-and for the first time in his pampered

life, he felt the raw, suffocating presence of death closing in.

(He’s really going to kill me!)

He had expected intimidation, humiliation, perhaps even a slap-

But not this.

Would Bai Zihan kill him just because of suspicion?

Even if Bai Zihan was certain, can he kill a prince of a neigbouring Empire?

He thought not, but judging from how he was being treated, it was safe to say that he would.

“Y-You dare…!”

He rasped, forcing the words out-but Bai Zihan’s fingers only tightened.

A sharp crack echoed through the hall.

The Second Prince’s body jerked as his throat constricted, his eyes widening in terror.

“Bai Zihan! Release him immediately!”

The Emperor’s furious roar shattered the suffocating silence.

He shot up from his seat, his imperial aura exploding outward in a storm of golden light.

“Guards! Save the Prince! Apprehend Bai Zihan!”

The soldiers surrounding the chamber instantly moved.

But before they could even take two steps-

The Bai Clan members-who had stood silently like shadows-sprang into motion.

CLANG! CLANG!

Steel clashed against steel.

The confined chamber erupted into chaos.

The Bai Clan members didn’t even need to be ordered-they already had one.

And nobody tried to stop the situation from escalating, because in the end, although the Royal Family or the Falling Star Empire was powerful, the Bai Clan was far stronger.

They didn’t think that someone so weak could retaliate even if they wanted to. As expected from the mentality of the so-called villain clan.

In any case, the fight between the two sides had already grown far beyond what anyone anticipated.

There were three Royal Commanders at the Great Ascension Realm-the strongest of the Falling Star Empire.

However, the Bai Clan had their own Great Ascension Realm elders who easily held them back.

While the three commanders used their full power, trying to overpower the elders and break through to save the Second Prince, the Bai Clan elders weren’t even using more than fifty percent of their strength.

After all, even if they were in the same realm, their cultivation techniques and martial arts were on a completely different level.

Not to mention that with Bai Zihan having contributed a Heaven-Level Cultivation Technique to the Bai Clan, those who were previously restricted to learning inferior Cutlviation Technique was now allowed to learn the previous Bai Clan’s Earth-Level technique, Azure Dragon Breathing-making their Qi far more refined and powerful.

So, even compared to the elders of the Desolate Heaven Empire in the same realm, they were stronger-let alone a weak empire like the Falling Star Empire. It was the same for the lower-ranked soldiers, who were easily taken care of by the Bai Clan disciples.

The powerless servants had already fled far away in fear.

After all, compared to the cultivators, they were fragile mortals who could die from a single shockwave.

The Falling Star soldiers were thrown back in droves, their formation shattering under the overwhelming might of the Bai Clan’s elites.

Screams, crashing tables, and the sound of splintering furniture filled the air.

The once-luxurious chamber-lavishly adorned with jade ornaments, rare paintings, and priceless furniture-was reduced to rubble within moments. The Fifth Prince, still bruised and swollen, could only watch in despair as his grand chamber-the pride of his status-was torn apart before his eyes. “M-My room…” he whimpered, his voice trembling. “All my treasures…”

He nearly cried as one of his favorite golden vases shattered under a stray blast of Qi.

Meanwhile, the Emperor’s fury only deepened. His aura flared violently, distorting the air around him.

“Enough!” he thundered. “Do you intend to start a war, Bai Zihan?!”

The Emperor thought that if it were only to save the Second Prince, it could

have been done easily-he didn’t expect even the Bai Clan elders to support Bai Zihan instead of stopping such a farce.

He couldn’t have imagined that even with their Empire’s strongest, they still couldn’t handle a single clan from the Desolate Heaven Empire.

This was the disparity between the Falling Star Empire and the Desolate Heaven Empire-the very reason why all the nations bordering it had formed alliances with each other.

Bai Zihan didn’t even look at him.

His gaze remained fixed on the Second Prince, who was turning pale from lack of air.

The Second Prince gritted his teeth and seemed to make a decision.

“NOW!”

The Second Prince managed to yell.

Just as Bai Zihan’s grip tightened to the point that the Prince’s bones creaked-

A dark blur shot through the shattered doorway.

“-Young Master, behind you!”

One of the Bai Clan elders shouted.

A thunderous boom split the air as a shadowy figure descended, his palm cloaked in black lightning that reeked of killing intent.

The attack struck where Bai Zihan stood-but he had already vanished, his figure flickering like a mirage.

The blow instead pulverized the marble floor, sending cracks spidering across the ground.

A blast of force hurled the surrounding guards and shattered what little remained of the Fifth Prince’s luxurious chamber.

The Second Prince fell to the floor, gasping for air-only to be snatched up by another shadow that appeared beside him.

In an instant, both figures retreated to a safe distance near the Emperor’s side.

“Cough! Cough-!”

The Second Prince clutched his throat, wheezing, eyes bloodshot. Then his trembling glare locked onto Bai Zihan.

“You… you’ll pay for this.”

Bai Zihan said nothing. He stared at the two figures who managed to save the Second Prince from his clutch.

They were in the Void Refinement Realm and looking at Martial Art to increase their speed, it was somewhat familiar.

(Looks like the Second Prince is indeed connected to that Organization!)

The Second Prince straightened his robe, the humiliation on his face replaced by cold confidence.

“Bai Zihan,” he spat, his voice echoing through the ruined hall, “you’ve gone too far. Today you and your Bai Clan dogs will die here.”

At his words, new auras began flaring one after another. From every corner of the palace corridor, dozens of cultivators appeared-each exuding terrifying Qi pressure far greater than the previous soldiers.

Even the Bai Clan elders narrowed their eyes. They thought that most of the Falling Star Empire Cultivators were gathered there, but there were more. Even for them, it would be difficult to handle such a huge number.

The Emperor himself frowned, his face turning grim.

“Who are they?”

“They are my guards.”

The Second Prince interrupted proudly, raising his hand.

The Emperor’s expression hardened, after all, having such powerful guards could also mean that the Second Prince might have been preparing to usurp the throne.

But before he could speak, the Second Prince pointed at Bai Zihan.

“Kill them all!”

The guards released their killing intent, their combined aura twisting the very air.

Still, Bai Zihan didn’t move. His calm, disdainful expression made the Second Prince’s confidence waver for a split second.

“You think your Grand Elder can save you?” the Second Prince sneered, forcing a smile. “He won’t be coming”

The Second Prince smirked.

“You don’t know, do you? I’ve already made preparations for that old monster.”
