Treasure Hunting System: The Ocean Conquerer
Chapter 1425 - 557: Restoration and Body
Alka looked at the three Treasures laid out before him.
The first was a Crown Level triangular Gemstone; inside the red triangle, strands that looked like shreds of flesh were densely interwoven.
"Does this Crown Level Treasure have a vessel?" Chadite asked curiously from the side.
Because Alka had previously used a Crown Level Divine Essence, They actually found it a bit hard to tell them apart.
Back then, the Divine Essence Alka used had a tangible vessel, an externally visible Gemstone.
"In fact, Crown Level Divine Essences don’t need vessels at all, or rather, they are already solid by themselves.
I suspect most Crown Level Treasures are just Gemstones mounted onto some solid object, borrowing the Gemstone’s power."
Alka explained from the side.
"So this is actually just a piece of Divine Essence?" Jason asked.
Alka nodded.
"Whether it’s the Crown Level Treasure in my hand or the other two Scepter Level Treasures, all three were once the power of a God of Rebirth.
It’s just that, for this world now, there is no longer any so‑called God of Rebirth."
Hearing this,
Lucilia suddenly thought of something and said, "So... these three Treasures are actually linked to each other and can be fully mastered by a single person?"
Alka nodded; that was exactly what he meant.
That way, out of the total six Treasures, the three hardest ones would already be assembled. Only three Holy Grail Level Treasures would remain, and compared to finding a suitable set of Scepter and Crown, tracking down three Holy Grails was frankly much simpler.
For Alka and the others, it was even fair to call it easy.
At this point, everyone’s expression showed a trace of hesitation.
Because the problem now was obvious.
Alka’s group actually already had enough Holy Grail Level Treasures, with the number exceeding twenty.
And now three ready‑made Treasures were sitting right in front of them; even if their collection didn’t contain enough suitable Holy Grail Level Treasures, it still wouldn’t be all that difficult for them.
The issue was that everyone’s Treasures had basically formed their own established systems by now.
Switching Treasures at this stage would mean that the experience and combat techniques They had mastered would have to be partially rolled back.
Even if They assembled all six Treasures at once and started the Ascension to Divinity ritual immediately, They would still have to spend a huge amount of time getting familiar with those Treasures, letting them become instinctive extensions of themselves.
"No need to get so hung up on it." Alka looked at the group and couldn’t help shaking his head with a smile.
"For other people, having this kind of opportunity would be something they’d take without a second thought. But for us, that kind of snap decision would actually be a loss.
We have a better solution, don’t we?"
If someone else obtained a linked Crown plus two Scepter Level Treasures, they would definitely abandon their current Treasures without hesitation. After mastering these three, they’d just calmly spend some time searching for the remaining three Holy Grail Level Treasures.
It’s even possible the Treasures they switched out would be enough for them to use on trades; they’d just need to patiently wait for a while.
As for the time spent mastering those new Treasures, that wouldn’t even enter their calculations.
But for Alka’s team, it was the opposite.
"You seem to have forgotten one thing... and that’s the Libra that can exchange Treasures once we gather all twelve Towers of Trial."
When they heard Alka say this, everyone finally remembered.
"So there’s no need to feel like we’re taking a loss."
Then he picked up the two Scepter Level Treasures in his hands and handed them to Matilda and Lucilia respectively.
"These two Treasures suit you both. Honestly, we’re quite lucky."
He didn’t bother to pretend anymore.
He really could see these things.
Those who had sailed with Alka for so long were already used to it, and weren’t surprised at all.
So now,
aside from the Crown Level one, that left only Juanlu and Simon each short of a single Scepter Level Treasure.
At this point, Alka looked at Juanlu and Simon, and golden crystal light appeared in his eyes.
A smile spread across his face.
"You two don’t need to rush either. It shouldn’t be long before you get your chance."
Hearing this, the two of them more or less knew what Alka was referring to; after all, they were the only ones still missing one Scepter Level Treasure apiece.
But seeing Alka so confident, Simon carefully studied his eyes.
"Looks like your eyes can see increasingly subtle things now."
Alka just smiled at that and didn’t explain further.
Chadite pointed at the remaining triangular Gemstone.
"So this Crown Level Treasure doesn’t suit any of us?"
Alka nodded somewhat helplessly; that was indeed the case.
Fortunately, They had a fallback.
The Libra that could perform exchanges.
Even a Crown Level Treasure could still be traded for one that suited them.
"Before that, you two should focus on mastering the Treasures in your hands first."
The two nodded, looking down at what they were holding and began to attune themselves.
Whether it was because of the God of Rebirth’s personal tastes or not,
the vessels for the Treasures in their hands were also triangular Gemstones.
Only the triangular shape, the colors within, and the external form were slightly different.
It was obvious he must have crafted them based on his own Crown Level Treasure.
