...The issue is quite significant.

But fortunately, Alka’s eyes can see through this Divine’s strength.

"You betrayers? Why do you always look like this? How dare you speak?

Although I’m just a mere mortal, I love the world and don’t want to be with cowardly traitors."

Facing Alka’s ridicule, the newborn God didn’t mind at all, and even smiled broadly.

He seemed to be in a very good mood.

"Is that so, then there’s nothing that can be done."

This newborn God definitely wasn’t here in person, but used some sort of flesh-and-blood body.

His strength was at the Eighth Stage... Two orange light spots flickered within his body. There wasn’t even a single golden light spot, but what caught Alka’s attention was the thread-like red light.

Though the red light was very faint and just like a thread, it was much more conspicuous than those two orange light spots.

Alka had seen red light spots before, but this was clearly not some red Treasure. It might be a power cast down from the true form of the Divine in the sky, or even beyond it.

The newborn God raised his long spear.

A silver light mass flashed by, and the figure transformed into a blade-like existence charging straight towards the Divine.

It was Chadite.

However, the figure stopped immediately. Wrapped in the power of moonlight and starlight, she was forcefully halted.

Her figure directly went limp, and fell to the ground.

A vine burst from the flesh-and-blood body and swiftly dragged the fallen Chadite away.

That was Matilda’s vine.

At this moment, Alka heard Chadite’s voice in his mind.

"He can control flesh... can control our bodies."

That’s why Chadite suddenly couldn’t move.

Upon hearing this, Alka furrowed his brows.

Then the spear pointed at himself.

Alka immediately felt his muscles become weak and powerless, causing him to collapse towards the ground.

From his chest, Lucilia’s soul emerged, quickly lifting Alka and throwing him backward.

In the air, a vine bound Alka and dragged him away.

Lucilia raised her Curse Sword, pointing at the newborn God in front of her.

"Just a pure soul? Intertwining soul and flesh, oh, how perfect."

The newborn God looked at Lucilia and said with a smile.

He lightly waved his spear.

The surrounding flesh walls immediately shot out several blood-flesh condensed long edges attacking towards Lucilia.

A space rift opened up, and Lucilia immediately disappeared from her original spot.

Then, an exaggerated sword blade fell on the shoulder of the newborn God, slashing down towards him.

The newborn God seemingly had eyes on his back and stood still, while one of his blood-flesh wings directly covered beside him, blocking the sword blade.

Though the sword blade collided with the wing, strangely enough, Lucilia’s swinging motion didn’t stop as if she had struck something.

The entire phenomenon looked exceptionally bizarre.

The newborn God glared, and then a large number of vine-like flesh gathered behind him, attacking Lucilia.

Lucilia disappeared again, reappearing in the distance.

"Divine, this strike wasn’t pleasant, was it?"

Seeing Lucilia’s smile.

The newborn God furrowed his brow.

He touched his own chest with his hand.

At this moment, Lucilia could see that a wound had appeared on the soul beneath the newborn God’s body.

For other life forms, such painful wounds would drive them mad, yet for this Divine before her, it merely caused a furrowed brow.

"You damaged his soul... Your sword, is it the Harvester’s power?"

Staring at Lucilia’s sword, he murmured.

Obviously, he wasn’t referring to Lucilia’s blade, but the Divine Essence within the sword blade, its former possessor.

He stood still, gazing at Lucilia.

Seeing that the flesh monsters he had just unleashed had already been eliminated this time.

Behind Lucilia.

Many were watching him intently.

"Hmm... Seems that not being here for many years, the mortals here have changed.

Become much stronger, that’s great."

Then he simply waved his hand lightly.

Two people who were too close immediately collapsed on the ground.

Among them was that council member named Kadan, a Tier Six Perfection member.

The prepared vines immediately dragged them away.

Watching this scene from afar, Alka narrowed his eyes slightly.

"The range to control flesh... around 100 meters?"

"What should we do? We’re all flesh and blood bodies, perfectly restrained by him and cannot get close at all," said Chadite nearby.

The power of the Divine before them exceedingly restrained these flesh-and-blood creatures.

It’s fair to say he’s a nemesis of mortals.

If it weren’t for Lucilia being a divine entity created from the fusion of Alka and others’ technologies, and currently in a state of soul-flesh fusion, they would almost be overwhelmingly disadvantaged.

"We can’t fully rely on Lucilia, can we?"

Alka shook his head slightly: "Of course not, the Divine hasn’t truly started attacking yet. His real power, this body’s power is at the Eighth Stage.

Lucilia won’t be a match.

Though he seems calm, he’s still incredibly arrogant and views us as ants.

Let Lucilia fight him for a while first."

Hearing this, Chadite looked at Alka.

Alka’s eyes glimmered with golden light, continuously watching the Divine intently.
