Soren gave his all to complete this unique dungeon. The number of mana potions he consumed was so staggering that if Sylvia knew, she might have cursed him for being a prodigal.
However, his hard work paid off, as he still had fifteen minutes to finish the dungeon. As long as he did, he could ascend his B-rank class by one rank.
“Hah… then, let’s go.”
After killing the Undead Commander, Soren first retracted the wings on his back to let them reset their cooldown.
Then he chugged down two more bottles of mana potions, forcefully restoring his mana.
This time, he didn’t stop there. He pulled out a vial filled with crimson blood and drank it without hesitation.
—
[Item: Wyvern Blood Vial]
[Rank: E]
[Effect: Contains diluted dragon blood. When consumed, it temporarily increases stamina and fire affinity greatly for a short duration. Has minor side effects such as elevated body temperature.]
—
True to its effect, Soren immediately felt all the fatigue from continuous fighting vanish completely.
Instead, a new surge of energy flowed through him, stronger than anything he had felt before.
Of course, he could feel the sweat on his body rapidly evaporating due to the side effects of the blood, but that was to be expected.
Now he was in his absolute best condition to face this boss and conquer the dungeon. No wonder he had chosen this item without hesitation.
“Tap… tap…”
Time was running out, and Soren didn’t have a moment to linger on thoughts. He immediately stepped forward and entered the narrow corridor.
Not a single skeleton soldier remained; all had been killed by him. The few that survived were taken out by the Undead Commander’s final attack.
Reaching the core room where the boss monster, the Cursed Warden, awaited him was now effortless.
In no time at all, Soren left the narrow corridor and stepped into the vast chamber.
Unlike the others, this room had no prison cells. The entire space was empty, except for a single throne at the center.
Multiple chains woven with unknown runes hung from the glowing pillar above, trailing toward the throne as if meant to entangle some long-forgotten prisoner.
But there was no prisoner on the throne.
Only a dark red gem pulsing with arcane energy sat upon it, as if the throne itself drew life and power from the gem, radiating a silent, oppressive force that seemed to watch and judge anyone who dared approach.
And right next to the strange throne stood the boss of this dungeon.
—
[Name: Cursed Warden]
[Race: Undead]
[Level: 30 (Suppressed)]
—
It was a towering skeletal knight, clad in rusted armor fused to decayed flesh, eyes burning with dark red flames.
Green cursed energy writhed across his body like living shadows, his spiked greatsword crackling with raw power and spectral chains writhing in his other hand as he radiated such lethal force that even if Soren took to the air, he would not escape.
The most glaring differences between it and the other skeletons Soren had killed before were clear.
First, it was clad in full body armor from head to toe. Second, its weapon was unique, evident from the flaring black flames radiating from the spikes, extending and retreating as if alive.
Even if Soren flew above to fight, those flames could strike him, eliminating any advantage he once had.
The last difference was that there was no blue flame on its chest. Well, there might have been, but Soren couldn’t see it since it was completely covered by the armor of an unknown rank.
To be honest, although called a Warden, the figure in front looked more like a Death Knight.
*Swish!*
As Soren stepped into the large chamber, the Warden also noticed his presence, its hollow eyes flaring with red flames as they focused on him.
The moment its gaze landed on him, Soren felt the same suffocating weight he had felt before, as that foul, dark energy rapidly tried to curse him once again.
Fortunately, his ring glowed faintly, shielding him from its effect.

[Remaining Time Duration of Crimson Wyvern Ring: 8 minutes.]
—
At least he thought so before he saw the time limit of his artifact directly halved the moment the Warden looked at him.
Crap… damn it…how powerful is this guy?
Soren cursed, seeing the time decrease by half in an instant, and he didn’t even know whether it could be reduced further. Before, he was relaxed, but now his face showed a rare urgency as his eyes finally focused on his objective.
The throne, or rather the gem floating on the throne.
After all, the Voice of the World said that to complete this dungeon, he needed to destroy the Phylactery Core, not kill the boss.
In fact, Soren couldn’t kill this guy even if he wanted to. Even Evan almost lost his life fighting him in the game.
He wasn’t stupid enough to dream such things.
But even destroying that gem wasn’t easy, especially when the Warden in front was very intelligent and never left its side, guarding it.
In fact, Soren could feel its subtle gaze on his finger where he wore that ring.
’Tch… this guy must already know my weakness. He is just waiting for the effect of the ring to wear off.’
He knew why the Warden simply looked at him without attacking, but even then, what could he do?
In the game, Evan had completed this dungeon thanks to his continuous, flawless sword technique.
His SSS-rank Sword Saint skill impressed even his foe, forcing the Warden to fight on equal footing in a heated battle.
Because of that, Evan managed to distract the Warden from the throne just long enough to destroy the gem in that small window.
But…
’What can I impress this guy with?’
Soren thought bitterly. Still, he tentatively nocked an arrow and fired it in an instant.
’Artemis Grace!’
He didn’t even bother using a mere A-rank skill.
*Whoosh!*
The graceful arrow shot across the chamber, radiating bright light and annihilating all the dark energy in its path.
The power and momentum rivaled what he had used to kill the Undead Commander just moments ago.
*Swish!*
However, just as the arrow pierced through everything and was about to strike the gem floating on the throne, it was abruptly stopped by a massive sword.
*Crack!*
Well, rather than stopping, it should be said that it was crushed.
The arrow splintered instantly under the force, fragments scattering like sparks across the chamber.
And the one who did that didn’t even move from its position, its hollow eyes flickering with red flame, focused on Soren all along, silently.
For a moment, Soren felt that this boss was mocking him.
’Welp…it seems it is time to go all out.’
