He, along with other students, had already returned to the camp with the help of Professor Lyra.

He saw that although there wasn’t absolute devastation around, the struggle was real. Fortunately, it seemed contained on time, and nobody was dead besides a few who were injured.

But Soren didn’t care about outside things. Rather, he was nervous about the seed in his mind.

’Yes, refine it.’

He was nervous about whether getting rid of that Demon Seed would alert Demon Lord Lilith. Or whether something would happen in the middle of refining.

That would be equally bad, if not worse.

Then, before his incredulous eyes, the seed was ripped out of his mind and into reality, as an ancient aura erupted from his entire being, directly suspending it right in front of him.

Then, with incredible precision, the aura wrapped around the seed like a cocoon, suppressing it before causing it to swirl rapidly.

In no time at all, the peanut-sized, pitch-black seed began to rotate at such a speed that it might have matched that of a neutron star.

As it rotated with incredible force, the seed began to disintegrate on its own, turning into a stream of black energy that was quickly drawn into Soren’s body.

Slowly, the entire energy of the seed was siphoned into him, forming a pitch-dark mana core right below his navel, just like the other mana cores he had absorbed before.

All of this happened with just the activation of his Unique Skill: Core Infusion.

In fact, the ancient aura he felt just now was no doubt similar to that Phylactery Core he had absorbed in the Unique Dungeon before.

Clearly, its rank was far higher than the Demon Seed, so much so that it didn’t even struggle in the slightest.
