Chapter 91: If you leave me! we will.never meet again.

VIVIAN

Vivian stared at the masked man. "Lucien...?"

The man didn’t answer.

Instead, his body suddenly swayed. "Lucien!"

Vivian rushed forward.

He collapsed against her shoulders, his weight nearly knocking her backward. He was extremely weak and his lips were bleedly badly.

She quickly held him. "What happened?"

Lucien’s breathing was heavy. His hand slowly grabbed her shoulder.

"He..."

His voice was weak. "He disrespected you and your Father..I know how much you love and miss him."

Vivian froze. Lucien lifted his head slightly and looked toward Caelan. "That is why I fought him."

His voice became softer. "I am sorry. I hope you won’t be angry with me."

Vivian stared at him. Lucien gave a weak cough. "I know how much you liked Caelan..."

Before he could finish..he coughed. Blood spilled from his mouth. It landed across Vivian’s shoulder.

Vivian’s eyes widened. "Lucien!"

She immediately supported him. "You’re bleeding!"

She looked toward Caelan. Her eyes instantly became filled with tears.

"How could you do this?!"

Caelan stood several meters away. His clothes were torn.

Blood ran down the side of his face. His Qilin form had already disappeared, leaving him in his human body.

He was injured too. But Vivian wasn’t looking at him.

She was looking at Lucien.

"How could you hurt him this badly?"

Her voice trembled. "Why are you doing this to me?! Do you hate me this much?"

Caelan’s expression changed. Vivian’s eyes were already wet.

She looked genuinely terrified. "He’s really hurt..."

A strange pain tightened in Caelan’s chest. He looked down at himself.

Blood stained his clothes. His body was aching.

He had fought an SS-Class beast for far too long. And yet... His injuries were not as bad as the damage he had suffered when he fought Aston. Aston was a royal beast and he wasn’t easy to get down..But he is here acting all weak with his hands on Vivian’s chest. .Why is he acting like a low level male seeking love from.females. When did Aston become like this?

I have been beaten worse by Aston. His eyes darkened.

Aston hurt me far more than this.

He looked at Vivian again. But something bothered him.

Then why does she look at him like that?

Why was she crying for him?

Why did she look so worried? What’s the relationship with Aston..Why is Aston here and not in Haxia. When did they meet?

Why did she never look at him that way anymore? He had so many Whys. Things were different from what he expected. Vivian’s life was all about him..what has gone wrong? Is it because she left Haxia?

His jaw tightened.

Who is he to her?

Caelan couldn’t stand there anymore.

He walked toward them.

Slowly. His steps were heavy. Vivian didn’t even notice him.

She was still supporting Lucien. Her eyes wet from.crying for him. "He’s really hurt..."

Caelan’s expression became colder. Then he suddenly rushed forward. He grabbed Vivian and pulled her upright.

Vivian gasped. "Caelan! Let go!"

He was much taller than her. He held both of her hands and brought them against his face.

His eyes stared directly into hers. "Vivian."

His voice was rough. "It’s me."

Vivian froze.

"It’s me, Caelan." His fingers tightened around her hands. "Why would you care about him this much?"

His voice cracked slightly. "Who is he to you?"

Vivian’s eyes narrowed. Caelan continued. "Do you even know who he really is?"

Vivian stared at him. Then she pulled her hands away. "Get out."

Caelan froze.

"I really don’t want to see you again."

His expression changed. "Vivian..."

"Get out!"

Her voice shook. "I don’t want to see you."

Lucien coughed behind her. "Vivian..."

She immediately turned. "I feel hurt."

His voice was weak. "Let’s go inside."

Vivian hurried back to him. "Okay."

She wrapped his arm around her shoulder. Then she looked at Caelan one last time.

"Before you leave..."

Caelan stared at her. "Apologize to these Orcs."

His eyebrows furrowed.

"And compensate them for destroying their homes."

Caelan’s face darkened. "Why should I?"

He glanced around.."I never started the fight."

Vivian’s expression became cold. "I don’t care who started it. But it’s all your fault."

She supported Lucien.

"You destroyed their homes, Caelan. Don’t you have a conscience? Do you know how terrified they were? Why not stop fighting Lucien. He is just a young wolf..."

Caelan remained silent. Vivian turned away. She began helping Lucien walk toward the house.

"Vivian."

She didn’t answer.

"Vivian."

Still nothing. Caelan’s voice became louder. "Vivian!"

She kept walking. His hands slowly curled into fists. His heart was hurt and beating fats. He heaved a sigh of frustration.

"If you leave me now..."

Vivian’s footsteps didn’t stop.

Caelan stared at her back.

"We will never have anything to do with each other again."

She continued walking.

"I will never answer you if you come begging for my attention...."

Still no response.

"I will never.."

His voice stopped. Vivian disappeared through the doorway with Lucien.

Caelan stood alone.mHis face was dark. His pride told him to turn around.

But his heart... was waiting for her to look back.

Just once. His eyes remained fixed on the doorway.

Not that I won’t change my mind if you turn around for even a second.

But Vivian didn’t. The door closed.

Caelan stood frozen.

For the first time, he realized something that made his chest hurt more than any wound. She had really chosen someone else. And not any one but his enemy Aston Fenrir.

"Commander!" Caelan’s guard rushed toward him.

Caelan’s body finally gave out. The guard caught him before he hit the ground.

"Commander!"

Caelan’s breathing was heavy..His face had turned sour..The guard quickly checked his condition.

Then he suddenly remembered something.."Commander..."

Caelan opened his eyes slightly.

"Elena has just arrived at your apartment."

His expression immediately changed.

"I’ll bring her here to check your injuries."

Caelan’s face turned even darker.

"You...st...."
