Transmigrated Villianess: I am the mistress to three Beasts Lords
Chapter 84: THE MIDNIGHT MISSION
VIVIAN
Vivian paced around her room. Back and forth....Back and forth.
She held Beeny’s hands tightly. "What if they know?"
Beeny stared at her.
"What if they..."
Vivian swallowed. "You know. All the Officials and commanders in the school are looking for Ina."
Beeny yawned. "It’s okay. We didn’t leave any traces. There is nothing to worry about. Not even her bones can be seen."
Vivian continued pacing. "I know, but...you know those are high ranked SSS Males. What if they find out..or trace her blood on me."
Beeny said. "When you wanted her dead. You didn’t think of anything like this."
Vivian stopped. "I feel like something bad is going to happen."
Beeny suddenly grabbed her chin. "Vivian, stop walking around!"
Vivian blinked.
"You’re making me go crazy. Stand still!"
Vivian reluctantly stopped. Then she remembered something.
She pulled out the second communicator Darius had given her.
Her normal communicator couldn’t communicate over long distances in Haxia. Only specially modified communicators could connect across certain areas.
The moment she activated it, it rang.
Vivian froze. A holographic screen appeared.
Darius Valen.
She immediately straightened. "Good morning, Second Father."
Darius looked at her calmly. "Did you do it?"
Vivian’s eyes darted around. She knew exactly what he meant. But Darius pretended he hadn’t said anything important.
Vivian played along. "I don’t know what you’re talking about."
Darius’s expression didn’t change. "Keep that face."
Vivian blinked.
"Don’t cause any more trouble. Haxia is already turned upside down because of that Federick girl."
His gaze became sharper. "Keep quiet, even if your Instructor Vincent asks questions."
Vivian nodded quickly. "I will be careful."
"Good."
The hologram disappeared. Vivian immediately collapsed onto the bed.
She grabbed Mimi and hugged him tightly.
She kissed the little creature several times. "As long as I’m quiet, nobody will know. But how did Darius know? That is 3S class for you. They are mighty."
She released a long sigh of relief. Then Beeny suddenly spoke. "It’s midnight already."
Vivian turned. Beeny’s eyes were gleaming with curiosity. "Why don’t we check who sent the message?"
Vivian glared at her. "You said we shouldn’t care about it!"
"I said we shouldn’t worry about it."
"Now you’re curious?"
"A little."
Vivian sighed.
"We’ll only look from afar." Beeny nodded continuously with pleading eyes.
"Deal."
A few hours later, Vivian changed her clothes.
She wore black trousers and a black top. Then she pulled a mask over the lower half of her face. She wore a cap.
She stared at herself in the mirror. For some reason, an uneasy feeling remained in her chest.
She sighed. "I just feel like I really have to go."
Beeny transformed into her Orc form.
"Then let’s go."
The two left with extreme disguise. Even changed the color of their skin to red.
The streets of IGNORA were still alive even at midnight.
Bright lights illuminated the sky roads while flying Orcs passed overhead.
Orcs walked along the streets, some returning from work while others headed toward different parts of the old city.
Vivian suddenly noticed a group of Orcs surrounding someone.
They were beating a female child.
Her steps slowed. She couldn’t see the child’s face.
Vivian frowned. Her eyes on them.
Beeny immediately grabbed her arm. "It’s not your business. Have you forgotten the Robot guys’ warning?"
Vivian looked at her. "I never said I wanted to interfere."
"Good."
Beeny continued walking. "Orcs hold grudges. Once they mark you, they can find you anywhere."
She glanced back.
"You don’t need that kind of trouble."
Vivian hesitated before nodding. "Fine." She felt very bad for the child being beaten that way.
They continued.
After asking an Orc child for directions, they finally reached their destination.
Foresight.
The moment Vivian arrived, she frowned. "Why is this place called Foresight?"
Beeny stared into the darkness. "Because it’s dark as hell."
Vivian rolled her eyes. "That isn’t an explanation."
There was almost no light around them.
The only illumination came from the strange trees surrounding the area.
Blue light flowed through the water nearby, giving the entire place an eerie glow.
Then the trees suddenly lit up. And went dark again. Then lit up. And went dark. Again. Again.
Vivian stared. "It looks magical and still weird. Like bad dreams.."
Beeny nodded. "Pretty, isn’t it?"
"Creepy."
They hid among the trees and waited.
Midnight came. Nothing happened. They waited longer. Still nothing. It was 12 am already. The letter sender never showed up.
Vivian held her chest. Her heart was beating very fast.
Beeny said. Be calm, you know we are hiding. You have to hide your Beast Aura."
Vivian asked confusedly in a low tone. "What is beast Aura?"
Beeny rolled her eyes. "Just concentrate on our mission. Or else I am leaving you here."
Vivian turned to her. Her face stoic.."Beeny seems you forgot am your Master?"
Beeny gulped down saliva. "I know you...."
Vivian pointed at her. "You think I don’t know the Zerg and Beasthuman rule. From the Day you got into my sea conciousness. And eat from my power. Your life officially belongs to me."
Beeny kept her head down. "I am sorry, Pretty Sister. I won’t say any....th..."
At that moment they heard rustling from the bush. Beeny kept quiet. They were on alert looking around. They planned to pounce on the person and kill him instantly. He mustn’t see their face.
But A Big Rabbit jumped out from the Bush and dived into the Sea.
Vivian and Beeny stared at each other.
Eventually, Vivian rubbed her eyes. "Seems like a false alarm."
She stood. "Let’s leave. I am sleepy."
Beeny sighed. "I warned you at first before you came.."
Vivian replied. "You were more eager to come."
The Next Day
Vivian arrived at the academy building in IGNORA. It wasn’t as big as the one in Haxia. But it passed as an Elite Building in Ignora.
She was happy and yet... She was also a little sad. She wasn’t going to Vega’s house for now.
She still hadn’t decided whether she should help him with his Tribulation.
It wasn’t a simple decision.
If she helped him, she could gain something valuable. But getting involved with Vega also meant getting involved with trouble.
And Vivian had already had enough trouble. But she felt sad that a Good Male like him was choosing to die.
When she arrived at the school. The recruits were immediately taken to the main base where their classes were held.
Vivian entered the classroom and sat beside Serial and Herbert.
The moment she sat down, she heard the students talking. "A lot of students died in the forest."
"I heard it was worse than they reported."
"They haven’t even started investigating properly."
"That’s what makes no sense!"
"They’re only investigating Ina. No one cares about the 300s of Students. Only Ina is important to them."
"They’re searching every hostel now. They threw my room upside down. I don’t know what they are looking for."
Vivian’s fingers slowly curled into a fist beneath the table.
Her expression darkened.
Someone suddenly nudged her shoulder.
Vivian turned. Herbert was looking at her. "Why do you seem so far away?"
Vivian quickly relaxed her hand.
"What are you thinking about?"
Vivian answered without hesitation. "What to eat this afternoon."
Herbert stared at her. Then burst out laughing.
"You’re serious?"
"You said there was a cafeteria."
Herbert shook his head. "Don’t think about it."
He leaned closer. "Only recruits with Merit Points can eat in the cafeteria."
Vivian frowned. "Merit Points again? Aren’t we done with that?"
"Yes."
He sighed dramatically. "Small people like you don’t have Merit Points. I and Serial have 7 each from our last mission. While yours is still Zero."
Serial glanced at him.
Vivian said. "Speak for yourself. This small creature can beat you to a pulp."
Herbert ignored her. "We haven’t killed enough Zerg Beasts or Stray Beasts to earn enough points."
He pointed toward Vivian. "You especially."
Vivian raised an eyebrow. "So?"
"You can only take Nutrient Solution for now. No real food for you."
Vivian’s face fell.
"Nutrient Solution?"
"Yes."
She looked genuinely offended. "That’s food? Forever?"
Herbert laughed again. "Get used to it."
Serial suddenly leaned forward. "This is actually what I wanted to discuss with you."
Vivian looked at him. "What?"
"Our team will be going into the forest during the next mission."
Vivian’s eyes widened slightly. "The forest?"
"Yes."
Serial nodded. "We’ll hunt beasts and collect Merit Points."
Vivian immediately shook her head. "But I’m not strong enough to fight beasts."
Herbert waved his hand dismissively.
"Don’t worry."
He smiled. "We’ll take care of you."
Vivian relaxed slightly.
Then Herbert added, "You’ll be assigned to carry the bags."
Vivian stared at him.
Silence. Her lips slowly twitched. She could tell from his face that he was extremely pleased with himself. "You seem very happy about that."
Herbert grinned. "Brat!."
Vivian narrowed her eyes.
I’ll remember this. I will surely make him spill blood soon.
Serial suddenly spoke again. "There is one more thing."
Vivian looked at her. "Someone else will be joining our team."
"Who?"
Serial shook her head. "You’ll meet him on the day of the mission."
Vivian’s eyes narrowed. "Why are you making it sound so mysterious?"
Serial simply smiled. "You’ll find out."
Vivian leaned back in her chair. For some reason, she had a very bad feeling about this.
Who exactly is joining our team?
