Chapter 60: MONSTER’S IN THE RESTROOM

VIVIAN...

Vivian stared at Ina. The three female Guides stood behind her.

Two male soldiers blocked the doorway. They held a metallic plate and dropped it at the door.

Vivian was confused about what was that but she understood this wasn’t a confrontation.

It was an ambush with a goal to take a life. She didn’t know their ability and she was scared of losing her life here. So she thought confronting them wouldn’t be a good idea. Maybe they could talk it out.

She glanced toward the door.

"Ina....I am sure I haven’t offended you enough to threaten my life."

She took one step forward.

Ina stepped in front of her and let out a mocking laugh.

"Are you scared?" she sneered. "Kneel down and lick my feet, and perhaps I’ll be merciful enough to let you walk away with your life."

She reached out, gripping Vivian’s jaw and forcing her face upward.

"I’m so happy to finally see that frightened look on your face." Ina’s smile widened. "It makes me feel wonderful."

She tilted Vivian’s chin from side to side.

"I suppose you never imagined there would come a day when you’d be completely at my mercy."

Vivian frowned. "This is a school transport ship. You shouldn’t be doing this. If you leave now. I will pretend you never came here."

Ina smiled coldly. "Do you really think I care? Or you think I am here to play house with you? Once someone offends me I won’t let go till they see blood."

She slowly raised her hand.

Then snapped her fingers. "Now."

One of the soldiers disappeared.

The next instant...BOOM!

He appeared directly in front of Vivian.

His enormous hand wrapped around her neck. "Urgh!"

He lifted her off the ground. Vivian grabbed his wrist with both hands.

Her feet kicked helplessly in the air.

The soldier’s fingers tightened.

Her breathing became difficult.

"My Princess!!"

Robot 99’s screen flashed red. Its arms suddenly transformed.

Both hands became futuristic guns.

Bang! The bullet struck the soldier’s wrist.

He released Vivian. She dropped heavily onto the floor.

Before she could recover, the soldier swung his arm and threw her.

CRASH!Vivian’s back slammed into the sink.

The ceramic sink shattered beneath her.

Pieces flew everywhere. "AH!"

Pain shot through her spine. She heard the cracking sound of her spine bone.

Robot 99’s two guns immediately turned toward the other three female guides.

BANG! BANG! BANG!

The two Guides dodged.

One rolled across the floor while the other jumped backward.

"Attack!"

Ice exploded through the restroom. Robot 99 tilted sideways, narrowly avoiding a massive ice spear.

Its screen changed. A pair of glowing red eyes appeared.

Then the words flashed across its face.

WAR MODE: ACTIVATED.

Vivian stared.

Since when can this thing fight?!

Robot 99 fired again.

BANG! BANG! BANG!

The Guides continued dodging as bullets tore through the restroom walls. The metallic walls were so hard nothing could fly out.

Ina stood several meters away. Her hands were folded calmly before her.

She stared at Robot 99 in disbelief.

"I told you to investigate properly before we attack..You said that it wasn’t a Security Robot!!"

One of the Guides gritted her teeth. "It wasn’t!"

"Then how does it suddenly have guns?"

Ina’s expression twisted. "Destroy that robot!"

The three Guides attacked simultaneously.

One unleashed a storm of ice.

The other covered her body in metallic armor.

Robot 99 spun rapidly.

Ice crashed against the wall. The armored Guide swung her fist.

Robot 99 ducked.

BANG! Its gun fired directly into her shoulder.

She screamed and stumbled backward. The other Guide attacked from the side.

Robot 99 turned. BANG! The bullet struck her leg. She collapsed bleeding profusely..Robot.99 took.that chances to shoot her head off..it flew from.her body. The Guide was a C rank and the gun could kill..

Robot 99’s screen flashed.

TARGET ONE: ELIMINATED.

Vivian slowly pushed herself up. Her entire back felt like it had been crushed.

She looked down.

The sink she had hit was completely destroyed. The wall behind it had cracked.

Her waist was bent at an unnatural angle.

Ina’s eyes widened. "What..."

Vivian placed one trembling hand against the wall.

Slowly...she straightened.

CRACK! Crack!! Crack!!

That was the sound of her spine correcting itself echoed through the restroom.

Ina froze. Vivian rolled her shoulders.

Another small crack followed.

Ina took a step backward. "What kind of monster are you?"

Vivian looked at her.

She didn’t answer. Ina screamed. "What are you all.looking? You fools.kill.her off!!."

Ina pointed toward her. "Attack her now before she gets better!!!"

One of the soldiers charged.

Inside Vivian’s consciousness, Beeny’s voice suddenly rang out.

"Pretty sister, lend me one of the Lotus petals. I can help you kill them."

Vivian’s eyes narrowed.

Absolutely not.

Beeny said. "You know they’re not here to spar. She really wants you dead."

Vivian clenched her fist. "Do I look that stupid?"

She ducked beneath a punch. "Of course I know."

She glanced toward her consciousness. "And don’t you dare eat my petals!"

Beeny became silent.

Meanwhile, Robot 99 continued fighting.

The remaining Guide attacked it with her metal ability.

Metal blades formed around her arms.

She struck Robot 99 again and again.

CLANG! CLANG! CLANG!

Robot 99 dodged several attacks.

But one finally connected.

BANG! Its arm bent backward. Its head tilted at an awkward angle. The wire from.his neck popped out and it was smoking.

Yet the little robot continued moving.

Vivian looked toward the door.

Nothing. No voices. No footsteps.

She suddenly realized something.

Why can’t anyone hear us?

Robot 99 had blocked the cameras first..

But the restroom was located deep inside the transport ship.

And with all this fighting...someone should have heard the noise.

Her eyes narrowed.

Something is wrong.

She didn’t have time to think about it. The large soldier attacked again.

Vivian punched him.

He dodged. She punched again. He blocked with his elbow.

His body was enormous. He looked almost like an Orc.

They exchanged punches rapidly.

BAM! BAM! BAM!

Vivian grabbed both his hands and twisted them. The soldier stumbled.

She turned her body, attempting to throw him.

But....Hell!!!

He’s heavier than he looks!

The soldier suddenly kicked her leg.

CRACK! Vivian’s knee buckled. She nearly collapsed.

Pain exploded through her leg.

It felt as though her kneecap had been smashed apart. "Ah!"

She dropped to one knee. The soldier raised his fist. To punch her back.

Vivian gritted her teeth.

Lotus!

"Send me your spiritual energy! I can’t anymore!"

A golden light suddenly erupted inside her consciousness.

The Lotus trembled and released its powers.

Then...she felt the Spiritual energy surged through her body.

Her broken knee stabilized. Strength flooded into her muscles.

Her eyes flashed gold.

The soldier swung his fist. Vivian caught his arm.

He froze. "What.."

She grabbed him with both hands.

Then lifted him. The enormous soldier actually left the ground.

Vivian spun him around like a kid. She flung him across the restroom.

His body crashed into the metallic wall.

The entire room shook. But before Vivian could breathe...she looked around and the other soldier had disappeared.

Her eyes widened.

Where did he..go....SHING! A sharp pain exploded through her chest.

Vivian looked down. A short sword had pierced straight through her body.

Blood rushed from her chest like tap water. For a second...everything became silent.

The soldier stood behind her, gripping the sword.

Vivian stared at the blade protruding from her chest.

Then she smiled. The soldier froze. "Why is this psycho smiling?"

Vivian slowly turned her head.

"Because..." She grabbed his wrist. "...you made a very stupid mistake."

She pulled him forward. The sword tore through her body....and entered his chest.

His eyes widened. He looked down. The same blade now protruded from his chest.

Vivian released him.

The soldier staggered backward. His eyes slowly closed.

He collapsed onto the floor.

Vivian stumbled.

"Lotus..."

Blood ran down her clothes. "Heal me faster!!!."

Golden light immediately spread through her body. The wound began closing.

The sword slowly slid out from her back. Vivian gasped as the blade finally dropped onto the floor.

CLANG!

She turned. "Robot 99!!!"

Two guides were dead on the floor.

The remaining Guide was standing behind the damaged robot.

Her entire arm had transformed into metal.

She raised it. Robot 99’s screen flashed.

DANGER! DANGER!

The Guide struck at it. Robot 99 crashed into the wall.

Its head remained bent. One arm hung uselessly. But it still moved.

Vivian’s expression hardened.

She rushed forward. The Guide had destroyed 99’s legs and the other arm. She was too late to stop her..

Vivian grabbed the back of her neck. And twisted the guide’s neck.

CRACK! The Guide collapsed with her neck bent

Robot 99 slowly lifted its damaged head. "My Princess.....praise me...I did my best to save you...."

She looked at its broken arms. "You...don’t..."

"Are.....you..sad...for me ... .You can just buy another me...if they let. ..."

She gulped down her tears threatening to fall. "Dont ... .talk..anymore..Don’t worry 99 I will save you...you are also my family...I..will...."

Before she could finish.....ROOOOAAARRR!

A terrifying roar shook the restroom.

Vivian froze.

Robot 99’s screen immediately displayed for the last time: UNKNOWN THREAT DETECTED.

Vivian slowly turned around. The soldier she had stabbed was no longer lying on the floor.

His body was changing. Bones cracked.

Muscles expanded...His clothes tore apart. His body grew larger and larger....and larger.

Until a gigantic black-haired chimpanzee-like beast stood inside the restroom. Its head nearly touched the ceiling.

Its shoulders were so wide they almost filled the entire space.

Its red eyes glowed with pure rage.

BOOM! It slammed both fists against its chest.

The sound was deafening. Vivian stared upward.

The beast lowered its enormous head.

Its bloody eyes locked onto her.

Then its massive hand shot forward.

Vivian barely had time to react. The giant hand wrapped around her entire body.

It lifted her from the ground as easily as picking up a doll.

Vivian struggled. Her feet kicked helplessly in the air.

The beast’s fingers tightened.

Inside her consciousness, Beeny’s cheerful voice suddenly became serious.

"Vivian..."

Vivian gritted her teeth. "What?"

Beeny giggled nervously.

"This beast is S-Class."

Vivian’s eyes widened. "I can tell."

The giant beast roared directly into her face.

Beeny continued..."Beg me."

A mischievous smile entered her voice. "I can give him a very quick death."
