"Come! Vergo of the Donquixote Pirates, show me your full strength. Don't disappoint me!" Blaize got fired up while his fighting spirit soared.

It's his first fight after learning Haki, so it's understandable that he's a little excited. ​​

Disregarding the rifle, cloak, and his marine shirt, Vergo revealed his chiseled physique. Coating his entire upper body with Haki, he rushed forward.

Imbuing his arms with Haki, Blaize faced Vergo punch. Both their fists collided in mid-air creating a shockwave that swirled the surrounding snow and dust.

Vergo was pushed back while Blaize was disappointed. He finds Vergo very weak, .'..no it's that he's weak I became strong!'

Blaize shouldn't compare the Vergo of current to his future self that appears 13 years later. He's definitely not as strong as he was shown in the punk hazard, as he's still young and growing.

Still, Blaize wants to enjoy his fight so he reduced the amount of Haki that he channels to his arms while his Observation perceived Vergo's movements.

Unlike what he feared, the application of Haki to his body came naturally. Blaize doesn't have to worry about how he will far in a real fight.

After exchanging a blow, Vergo found Blaize limited his haki to his level and he wasn't also utilizing his devil fruit power.

'I couldn't precisely gauge his strength but he should be as strong as Doffy. His growth is unbelievable! I need to inform Doffy about him.'

"I should have killed you at the training camp when I had the chance." Vergo suddenly stated.

"Pity! You didn't! Even if you tried, I don't think you may have succeeded." Blaize responded and punched at him.

Vergo backed away from the strike and suddenly rushed off from the battle. Yes, he's trying to flee but that's not his true intention.

Before he could even get out of the 'Noise' wall created by Rosinante, a scorching beam hit both his knees depriving him of his ability to walk.

"Vergo, when will you ever learn? All your actions are within my perception." Blaize shook his head. He then once again said, "Don't do it, otherwise, I will kill you."

His words puzzled Rosinante and Law as they don't understand his words but Vergo did. He was trying to reach his Den Den Mushi but, Blaize easily saw through him.

"How? How did you become so strong in a year?" Vergo asked. "You had mastered Haki and become proficient in such a short time. Considering your physical ability and Devil fruit power, your strength is only a little short of Admirals!"

"Vergo, I didn't know you were a talkative person." Blaize chuckled but suddenly his eyes glowed in red while his expression changed a little.

Kicking Vergo away, he noticed the Den Den Mushi in his place but it was already connected to Doflamingo. 'When did he?' Blaize was sure Vergo dropped the Den Den Mushi when his beams hit his legs.

He didn't dial any number at that time. And, he was monitoring his every move as soon as he appeared here. 'Then how?' Blaize mused and got the answer.

'It should be when I first kicked him and told Rosinante to create the 'Noise' field. So, Doflamingo was overhearing the entire time.'

"Vergo, you bastard." Blaize picked the Den Den Mushi from the ground and spoke, "Moshi...Moshi!"

Rosinante and Law were tongue-tied beholding Blaize casually attending the call. Doflamingo's voice came from the other side of the receiver, "Who are you? Where's Vergo?"

"Doffy..." Vergo struggled to rise to his feet. "He's a Marine..."

Before he could finish his sentence, Blaize flashed next to Vergo and kicked at his throat with Haki. As he couldn't react in time, the kick directly crushed his windpipe.

"Your subordinate is an unruly one, why can't he be just silent?" Blaize spoke in a helpless tone.

"Oi...What did you do to Vergo?" Doflamingo shouted. "If something happens to him..."

"Wait! He's struggling to breathe since I crushed his windpipe. If you have any last words, say to him..." Blaize spoke and placed the Den Den Mushi next to Vergo.

Vergo struggled for a moment and calmed down accepting his fate. 'Impressive!' Blaize praised Vergo's mental fortitude in his heart.

Though he had crushed his windpipe, Vergo won't die easily. Even without breathing, he can stay alive for 15 to 30 minutes, Blaize doesn't have that luxury to wait.

He needs to leave as Doflamingo already landed on Minion Island. Unlike in the original series, he doesn't know what happened here since Vergo hasn't informed Doflamingo anything yet.

"I am sorry, Partner. Thank you for all your work. Go with peace of mind." Doflamingo expressed his heartfelt words to Vergo while the latter smiled a little.

As soon as Doflamingo finished his speech. Golden sword energy extended from Blaize's hand and with a slight wave of his hand, it decapitated Vergo.

There wasn't any hesitation in his actions! Silence followed. Doflamingo also heard the slight slashing sound, he knew Vergo is dead.

Doflamingo then spoke to Blaize: "From the conversation that you two had earlier, you should be someone Vergo's familiar with; maybe from the same training camp.

Vergo once told me about an interesting marine recruit that he met in the training camp with impressive talents and strength. Fuffuffuffuffu, that should be you right."

Blocking the receiver with his hand, Blaize whispered at Law. "...did you hear Doflamingo's laughter? It was hair-raising!"

'Did he just try to joke with me, in a time like this?' Law was mystified and shocked by Blaize's nonchalance.

Blaize then replied to Doflamingo. "Yes. You don't have to guess my identity. If you had asked me, I would have told you. Listen carefully,

My name's Blaize and I am Lieutenant commander of the Marines from East Blue. Is it enough or you want me to spell my age, sex, height, and other things.

Wait...you are in Minion Island, right? Let me send you a small gift before I leave."

'Kacha!'

With that, Blaize ended the call. Looking at dumbfounded Rosinante and Law, "Let's go! Donquixote pirates had already landed on the Minion Island, they will be here any moment!"

"Didn't you just pick a fight with Doflamingo, why do you want to run now?" Law asked in a perplexed voice.

Blaize didn't answer his question, he picked Law, Rosinante, and ran away from the island center. He can indeed fight Doflamingo but Sengoku warned him that he shouldn't reveal his identity.

In fact, he's itching for a fight. But, today's not the day and he's not strong enough to face the Donquixote pirates all by himself.

But, it's highly inappropriate to leave without sending a little gift.
