Unknown Island, New World.

Blaize and Kizaru left Sabaody and reached the secret marine base of the Marine Science division around midnight. The island is tightly guarded by special soldiers who were dressed differently from normal Marines.

But, Kizaru's presence simplified the process as every one of them seem to know and respect him highly. None of them questioned their entry.

Blaize and Kizaru made their way into the facility that's spread with various scientific equipment and scientists who are busily running here and there.

Soon, they came across a room that's full of tools, machines, half-finished cyborgs. All these things amazed Blaize to the extreme.

"Old man Kizaru, you came!" A voice came from the distance. "Mn?" When Blaize looked over, he was surprised to see a familiar face. Sentomaru, captain within the Marine Science Unit and bodyguard of Vegapunk!

Noticing Blaize's presence, Sentomaru showed a surprised expression and asked Kizaru. "Isn't he the marine who was in the news recently?"

"Yes. He's Blaize-kun!" Kizaru answered and spoke, "Is everything ready, we are supposed to leave in the morning, right?"

"Yes. But the geezers here are very busy so they haven't moved the equipment to the ship yet." Sentomaru replied.

"Where's Vegapunk?" Kizaru asked.

Sentomaru then brought them to a dark room with dim lighting. When Blaize entered, he took a breath of cold air as the room is packed with bottles full of devil fruits.

It's his first time seeing so many devil fruits in one place. Though most of them are man-made that had an appearance similar to a 'smile', there are some genuine ones amongst them.

From there, Sentomaru opened another metal door leading them to a large metal chamber that's spread with research papers and half-finished robots.

There they met an old man wearing glasses who's at least 6 six feet tall and looked healthy for his age. He was looking at something through a microscope with interest.

Without a doubt, he's Vegapunk. He wore a standard white color robe over his striped shirt and yellow gloves.

But, something caught Blaize's attention as he looked around, he saw all kinds of research papers: Giantification, Cloning, Artificial devil fruits, experiment on lineage factor, seastone, and many unknown things he didn't even understand.

"Old Man Vegapunk, Admiral Kizaru is here!" Sentomaru interrupted the research as if he didn't care.

And, Vegapunk didn't seem to mind the interruption. He gazed at Kizaru and spoke,

"Oh Admiral Kizaru, you are here! Your Pika Pika no mi is a wonderful devil fruit, I have almost cracked it. It won't be long before I incorporate some of your abilities into the recent project of mine!" Vegapunk seems thrilled about the results.

"You came on time, I need more samples of your blood."

"Dr. Vegapunk, we don't have time for that. We need to evacuate this facility now, didn't you get the orders from World Government?" Kizaru spoke, scratching his head.

Vegapunk ignored Kizaru's words, "Who are you?" His eyes behind the glasses scrutinized Blaize and soon it glistened.

"Such strong vitality..." He muttered as he neared Blaize.

"Dr. Vegapunk, nice to meet you. I am Blaize, Headquarters Marine Vice-Admiral. I heard many things about you." Blaize introduced himself.

"You are very good! You have one of the most enviable physiques that I have ever seen that's balanced in all aspects. Your physical strength can't compare to Kaidou's but with strong vitality, you are durable and can heal quickly."

"Thanks," Blaize said, stopping Vegapunks from touching his body. Only then he noticed the latter's glass is displaying a string of data that's probably scanned from his body.

"Can I have your blood sample?"

"No,"

Vegapunk found rejection disappointing but he didn't mull over it. He got past them and enquired Kizaru. "Where's the new facility? I don't want a similar thing to be happening again, it's interrupting my research."

"The new facility is on an Island near Red Line and it won't show on any log. So if a similar situation arises, the Marines will send the fleet at a quicker speed. You won't have any problems there!" Kizaru explained, slowly.

"Ok. I will inform the others to vacate the facility and destroy anything that's of no use."

After Vegapunk's order, the evacuation process was smooth. Meanwhile, Blaize left Vegapunk's room and toured the science facility that's full of oddities.

One particular research chamber caught his attention, he saw Ceasar Clown experimenting on the prisoners that were sent here instead of Impel Down.

Ceasar injected some kind of serum into the prisoner who violently twitched and screamed in pain. Looking at them in amusement, Ceasar laughed.

"Shurororo... indeed, this is the pinnacle of science! Experiments with live subjects... I like it here because we can do whatever we want!

You can kick, or scream...! But no one's coming to save you! As the prisoners of World Government, no one would show sympathy to you all."

"Is that so?" Blaize walked over.

"Who are y—" Ceasar looked back but stopped his words as soon as he saw Blaize. "You...you are the marine who fought Kaido a few days back?"

"You got any problem?"

"No."

"Even though they are pirates, they are also human beings. Not every one of them is evil." Blaize spoke while Ceasar nodded his head.

In fact, he's a little afraid of Blaize as he saw the battle between him and Kaido via Den Den Mushi's projection. He won't forget it as he knew how strong that monster Kaido really is.

Blaize continued. "Didn't you hear the announcement just now? Evacuate the facility and transfer the required equipment to the Marine battleship at the port."
