It was nearly dusk as the sun will set in another few minutes. The battle between Marines and Speed pirates that's been going on for nearly 12 hours was coming to an end.

Jasper and Vulken were already caught by the Marines. As for Luke, his situation is worse as he was surrounded by the Marines; Admiral Aokiji, two Vice Admirals, Rear Admirals, and some Marine soldiers.

He had a ferocious look in his eyes while covered in blood that flowed from his injuries. The Kilo Kilo fruit matched perfectly with Luke's personality and character that's why he is very strong.

Combined with his inborn strength and powerful Haki, even Kuzan couldn't defeat him. Even when surrounded by so many people, there's no hint of fear in his eyes.

Ice Block: Partisan ["Ice Mass: Two Thorn Pikes"]: Kuzan formed several spears of ice by solidifying the cold air around him and then hurled them at Luke.

This kind of attack isn't enough to injure him, but surrounded by Marine Luke has to be careful of how he evades them. Luke increased the weight of his arms and punched.

The air pressure from the punch blocked the attack while using the Observation Haki and coating his body with Haki, Luke dodged the Marines' combined attack.

Using the opportunity, the Vice-Admiral with a sword in his hand crept behind Luke and drove his blade. The sword pierced his back and came out from the front, damaging Luke's heart.

Coughing a mouthful of blood, he spun around and clasped the Vice-Admiral by his neck like a chicken.

Seeing this, the other Marines reacted and sent a volley of attacks at Luke, while rushed forward to rescue the Old Vice Admiral from the hands of Luke.

But, he suddenly heard a 'crack' sound. Luke broke the vice admiral's neck with the help of his devil fruit power and flung his body away.

He looked at Kuzan with a slight grin on his face. He knew he can't escape today as he's thoroughly exhausted and seriously injured in many places.

He's not like his brother who can super heal. Besides, he saw his brother Speed is completely overwhelmed by his opponent and his situation is not that different from him.

He knew today is the end for the Speed Pirates. However, he won't go down that easily at least not before bringing some of the Marines to hell with him.

Seeing Luke kill the Vice Admiral, Kuzan got infuriated while ice spread over his hands and legs. A wave of ice advanced along the ground and froze anything in its way.

Everything within 500 meters was completely frozen, even the other Marines in the vicinity were forced to retreat from the area.

As for Luke, he was frozen to the bones as he was already exhausted both his physical strength and Haki. Since Kuzan used everything in his attack, Luke couldn't block.

Sensing Luke's situation with his Observation Haki, Speed clenched his fist while he strived with all his might and rose to his feet.

He could feel it—Luke's life energy gradually fading with every passing second. Speed knew he's going to lose his brother, the only family he got in this world.

After a few seconds, Luke's presence completely disappeared from the world. His entire body trembled with pain and anger while blood flowing from his orifices already dyed his entire body in red.

'Rest well, Luke!' Speed closed his eyes for a second. When he opened them again, he looked different.

Seeing this, Blaize didn't show any kind of reaction. He's not going to feel pity for a pirate. Though Speed is not some insane pirate who slaughters the whole village for money, he still got the blood of innocents in his hand.

He has killed several innocents; civilians and Marines alike. He's someone with the ambition to rule the sea and wants to become the King of the pirates!

Losing his brother, Speed changed but there's no crazed look in his eyes but the words he uttered from his mouth were filled with ruthlessness.

"You better kill me today. Or at least hope that I won't come out of whatever hole that you are going to send me.

Because If I regain my freedom one day, I will come looking for you. And, the next time we meet, I will kill you and the ones around you like you Marines killed my brother."

Hearing words, Blaize couldn't hold back his laughter. "Don't make me laugh with your talk. The next time we meet, we won't be in the same class.

So don't bother come looking for revenge. Otherwise, you will only lose your life."

Just as Blaize finished his words, Speed attacked with whatever he had in him. "Ahhh!" Roaring, he threw himself at Blaize.

As a Conqueror's Haki user how could Speed let a Marine capture him so easily, he would rather die than surrender. Blaize knew Speed will put up the last struggle so he was prepared for it.

Dodging the attack by wheeling to his left, Blaize stretched his hand and a golden sword materialized made purely of solar energy.

With a slight wave of the sword, Speed's left leg was sliced off from his body. Speed toppled and fell to the ground while the pain from losing his made him scream.

His agonizing cry resonated throughout the Greenhill Island and vented the Marines' anger who lost some of their partners in the battle.

Disturbed by the scream, Blaize pulled his hand back and glazed it with solar energy. Balling it into a fist, he punched Speed in his face. 'Crack!'

Speed lost his consciousness with a dent on his face. After today, there will be no Speed pirates in the New World.

As soon as he defeated Speed, the system notification sounded in his ear.

"Ding!"

The reward isn't as handsome as he expected. Just 3 free attribute points. Everything changed after his attributes crossed the '50' bar limit and the new system upgrade.

But, during his battle against Speed his constitution and Haki attribute were increased by '1' point. It was a good thing. Blaize then checked his status panel,
