New Project Announcement: My Unicorn Thinks I’m His Maiden – Dungeon Crawler World: A Magical Girl Story

Hey everyone! As I look toward the finish line for the current arc of Transmigrated Into a Fantasy World with No Clue What to Do, I’m thrilled to finally announce my next project, a deep dive into the world of Dungeon Crawler Carl.  I know some of this is covered at the bottom of the story description on the book's page, but I wanted to do something more official, hence this announcement.

The Story:

When the world ends, most people are wearing pajamas. Clay, the son of a ranch owner from Mobile, Alabama, happens to be dressed as a red-headed Sailor Scout for a rescheduled Halloween party. Entering the dungeon with a hangover, his friends, and his loyal stallion, Magnificent Marv, Clay’s survival depends on a "Maiden’s Bond" he never asked for and a legendary transformation that is... well, it’s a bit sparkly.

Setting the Stage:

Strict Canon Rules: I’m a huge fan of LitRPG stat systems and the brutal, unhinged world that Matt Dinniman created. I am sticking to the established rules of the dungeon as closely as possible.

The Gender Transformation: Yes, there is a gender transformation element in this story. However, it is a slow burn. Clay’s journey into becoming "REDACTED" is a gradual process tied to the stats and gear he needs to survive as a "REDACTED" caster. 

Independent Path: To manage expectations: Clay and Marv will not meet Carl or Donut. They are on their own path through the World Dungeon. While they’ll see the "Main Characters" on the global leaderboards and hear the world-wide announcements, this story focuses entirely on different areas of the dungeon, after all, the World Dungeon is a huge place.

A Different Power Level: Don’t expect a brawler who can go toe-to-toe with Carl. This is a tactical, high-charisma duo where Marv tanks with sultry Victorian insults while Clay pirouettes to charge up starlight beams. It’s a different playstyle for a different kind of survivor.

Tentative Release Date: I am aiming to start releasing chapters on May 4th, but this date is subject to change if needed.  Also, this does not mean that Transmigrated Into a Fantasy World with No Clue What to Do is ending, it is just going on a short hiatus before the next arc.  This tentative date is just that, tentative, because that is around when I estimate I'll finish writing the current arc.  I am multiple chapters ahead of the current release, though, so for a short period, both stories will be releasing simultaneously. 

Lastly: I want to give a huge thank you to everyone who has been reading my work.  I hope that if you enjoy this fanfic as much as my other work, and if you aren’t familiar with the novels by Matt Dinniman that this story runs parallel to, I hope you will check them out.
