Transmigrated As The Hired Villain in a Fantasy World
Chapter 306 More.
Chapter 306: 306 More.
"You?" I said.
"Me," she purred.
I suppose I shouldn’t have been surprised. Though Lilith was a demon, that only seemed to give her more sway in high society these days.
She could probably get me a ticket to the Illuminati’s monthly orgy and barn dance, because not only was Lilith a fashion designer without compare, she moved in the sorts of circles that made connections effortless.
"It’s pretty short notice," I said.
"Oh pish posh, darling," Lilith said with a flip of her hand and hair. "I likely have the invitation sitting around already. Just sitting around! I make it a point not to accept them until the last moment. Keeps everyone on their toes. And my attendance that much more valuable. So very valuable, darling. Ergo, I would be delighted to attend. Simply delighted, darling. I could even introduce you."
"That would... be extremely helpful," I admitted.
"Oh I know, darling. I know!" Lilith said with a titter. "I can be very helpful to my dear host, darling. Most helpful indeed!"
"Then I guess I know what I’m doing in two days," I said, then glanced about the room. "But we’ve got a lot of other things to focus on too. Rhea?"
"Yes, sir!"
"I need you to scour the data about Jester. Anything you can get. The more information the better."
"I’m on it."
"Good. Psyren?"
"Boss?"
"Training. Practice your powers a bit. We’re going to need you in top shape when things hit the fan."
"You got it, bossman!" she said gleefully.
"Great. Glacia? Reschedule any meetings with villains I had. Our priority is dealing with this first. And if we’re still alive afterwards, we can talk more about recruiting."
"Of course, sir," she replied.
"Good," I said. "I’ve got a few other things I can look into as well to hopefully make this a bit easier. But everyone try and keep your heads down. Things are going to get dicey the next few days, and I don’t want anyone getting whack-a-mole’d. Keep low, keep quiet, and we’ll get it done. Clear?"
It was. I stood, and everyone did after me, heading off to whatever tasks they could in order to make this magic happen.
All except one.
Glacia lingered as everyone else filed out, and soon it was only me and her. Despite her cold air and stiff disposition, I could easily tell she was nervous about something. Once the last of them were gone I shut the door and turned toward her.
"Glacia? Did you need something?"
She nibbled on her lower lip, eyes darting around furtively. "I..."
She took a deep breath, let it out. "I... wish to apologize, sir."
"Apologize?"
"Yes." Her fingers uncertainly fidgeted, knitting and knotting in front of her. "This entire situation is my fault. Were it not for me, then you would not be targeted by Jester, nor would any of the others be dragged into this conflict. Should... should you wish for me to leave, I..."
She took a deep breath, let it out, firming herself like she was bracing for news of a cancer diagnosis, her blue eyes meeting mine steadily. "I would understand."
I chuckled. I really did love her.
"Glacia," I said, moving toward her, gently taking her hand. "I swear, I don’t blame you, and this is absolutely not your fault."
"Sir—"
"Let me finish," I cut in, patting her hand and drawing her in closer. "None of this is your fault. Jester would have come after us no matter what. Your bad luck was that he chose your job to meddle with, but he could have done the same to any of us. You did everything right, and sometimes in this business, shit just happens, and we roll with it.
"And I promise you, Glacia," I added, my voice firming to steel, "I’m not letting this go. If I have to go to war to make Jester pay for doing this to you, then I will. You’re not going anywhere, and Jester is going to learn what happens when he fucks around with my second-in-command."
"Sir..."
Glacia pressed closer to me, her blue eyes shining, her lips parting. I smiled down at her, letting things take their natural course as I leaned down.
And kissed her.
Glacia shivered at the heat of my lips. Her hand left mine, wrapping around me, digging into my back as she clung to me. Her breasts pressed against my chest and a soft whimper escaped her.
The sound went straight to my cock. Heat stirred low and hungry in answer to her quiet need.
I spun her about, pressing her against the edge of the long polished table that dominated the room—the same table where we planned world domination and body counts.
She leaned back, yielding almost instantly, laying herself down on the cool wood as I continued to kiss her.
Her skin was cold, always was, but her body yearned.
She pulled herself against me as my hands stroked over the sleek, form-fitting costume that hugged every elegant line of her.
My palm cupped her breast through the tight fabric; Glacia whimpered as I gently massaged the soft weight, thumb brushing the peak until it hardened under the material.
"Mmmm," she moaned, breaking the kiss with a needy gasp. "Sir... I... ah... S-sir, I... I love you."
"I know," I said, voice low. "And I love you."
Her pale cheeks bloomed with a deep blush. Her teeth eagerly nibbled her lower lip.
I closed in again, claiming her mouth while my fingers found the tight connector on the front of her costume and eased it down.
The fabric peeled away from her breasts, pushed aside to reveal pale, creamy flesh that almost glowed under the room’s soft lights. Perfect. Soft. Sensitive.
"Beautiful," I breathed, leaning down and kissing the upper slope of one breast.
Glacia’s voice hitched. I trailed open-mouthed kisses lower until my lips closed around her nipple.
My tongue stroked the tight little peak, teasing it with slow, wet circles.
She whimpered in pure ecstasy, wriggling and arching under me with a throaty moan of desperate pleasure. Her fingers threaded into my hair, not quite pulling, just holding on.
"S-sir!" she gasped. "That’s... mnnn... that’s g-good."
"Then should I do more?" I asked her teasingly as I slid the zipper farther down. Her toned stomach twitched when my fingers ghosted over the skin.
