Chapter 144: 144 Sleepover.

"Makeovers?" I repeated, the word sounding hollow in my mouth.

"Oh, Milesy!" Lilith squealed, suddenly twirling back to me, pressing forward and grasping my hands in her warm, crimson ones. "It’s not that I distrust your taste! Not at all! You have a wonderfully brooding, utilitarian sense of villainy. Very bleak! But a whole evil manor? I’ve been dreaming of a project like this for ages! I was in absolute ecstasy the moment Edna said she was dumping me here!"

"I... h-hold on," I said, trying to gently extricate my hands. "I didn’t ask you to—"

"Oh, you didn’t need to, Milesy!" Lilith plowed on, her spaded tail swishing happily behind her. "You’ve always been so terrible at asking for help. It’s your one flaw! Well, that and you never let me add unnecessary spikes to your armor. But you need help with a lair like this! It’s too big! Too gloomy! And you wouldn’t leave me out of it, would you?"

"I—"

"And it won’t cost you a dime! Not a single dime!" Lilith added with a stunning, bubbly smile that was as bright as the pits of hell’s inferno. "Edna completely froze my corporate credit card before she left, but I brought all my secret fabric stashes! I’ll take care of everything. But of course, I wouldn’t dream of changing anything without your say-so. I want you to be happy, Milesy. But more importantly, I want you to be sexy!"

"Sexy?" I choked.

"Of course! Oop, let me just grab these," she chirped.

Without breaking eye contact, the towering demoness casually reached down and hefted her three massive, hundred-pound Louis Vuitton suitcases with one hand, tossing them over her shoulder like they were stuffed with feathers. She practically skipped past me and into the chalet.

I turned to watch her, gaping for a moment before I recovered enough to quickly follow her inside.

"Oh, Milesy, look at this foyer!" Lilith gasped, dropping her luggage and spinning around the vast, bare walls of the entrance hall. "It’s so utilitarian! So dreadfully mundane! We can’t have that. First impressions are important! When a hero breaks in here, they need to feel intimidated, but also slightly aroused!"

"Sir? You know her?" Glacia asked, her voice dropping the temperature in the room to a frosty chill as she glared at the demon.

Lilith twirled about, her pinstriped skirt flaring. "Know me? Oh, honey, I’m his favorite succubus! And by the way, love the snowy aesthetic, sweetie. Delightful silhouette, though we really should lower that neckline."

I pinched the bridge of my nose, feeling a massive headache forming. I really needed to regain some control of this situation.

"Lilith," I said, stepping between her and the glaring ice manipulator. "Why do you need my lair to be... sexy?"

"For the opportunity, Milesy!" Lilith said, turning another stunning, glowing-eyed smile my way. "The chance! Didn’t I tell you? Edna’s rules are so painfully stifling! Oh, she’s a genius, sure. But she’s so obsessed with ’aerodynamics’ and ’utility’ and ’preventing catastrophic tactical failures.’ I crave stimulation, Milesy!"

"Stimulation?" I repeated cautiously, my voice rising an octave as I felt her move in closer, her plush curves pressing right up against me.

"Stimulation," Lilith purred, her glowing yellow eyes flaring. "I need villains, Milesy! I need evil! I need to costume the many menaces simply waiting to be unleashed upon this world! Edna never lets me design the fun stuff. She says plunging necklines are ’bullet funnels’ and leather harnesses ’chafe during high-speed chases.’ It’s a tragedy!"

"Well, I guess," I said uneasily. "But Edna already designed a costume for Psyren, so—"

"Oh, but that’s the thing! That’s the thing!" Lilith squealed, grabbing my biceps. "If your new evil organization bears fruit, you’ll need ever so many more costumes! You’ll need them for your minions. Your henchmen! Your scandalously clad servants! You’ll especially need them for your prisoners, Milesy! How could you lock your arch-enemies in the dungeon and let them wear anything but the most revealing, tantalizing rags? It would be a sin! Simply a sin! And trust me, I know a great deal about sinning!"

"H-hang on, I’m not taking heroes captive or—"

"Oh, not yet! But there’s so much room for you to grow!"

Before I could formulate another response, her arms were around me again, pulling me deep into her bust. Not even my armor could fully save me this time. Fucking hell, she was strong. And warm. Her crimson skin absolutely radiated heat, like she was packing her own personal furnace, smelling heavily of vanilla and brimstone.

"Lilith!"

The delighted, highly enthusiastic voice wrenched my attention back to the present. I looked up the stairs, where I found Psyren standing.

The psychic was absolutely glowing with delight at the sight of the towering demoness.

Gibbles wasn’t anywhere near her, not sure if I should’ve been worried about that or happy I didn’t have to look at that thing right now.

But wuith the succubus demon in my home I had much larger issues.

"Psyren!" Lilith cried, abandoning me and turning to face the punk psychic.

Psyren fairly skipped down the steps and threw herself into Lilith’s hug. The demoness pulled her in tight, spinning the smaller woman around effortlessly before setting her back down.

"Oh my God!" Psyren squealed. "It’s so good to see you! That costume you and Edna made for my debut was just the absolute best! People couldn’t keep their eyes off me!"

"Oh, sweetie, of course they couldn’t!" Lilith gushed, grabbing Psyren’s hands and squeezing them in excitement. "You were wearing it! They wouldn’t have dared look away! Though, between you and me, I totally wanted to add some spiked garters to the thighs, but Edna threatened to staple my tail to the floor."

"Ugh, she’s so strict," Psyren agreed, giggling. She glanced at the mountain of designer luggage sitting in the foyer. "Wait, what are you doing here without her?"

"Edna went to Heaven for a corporate retreat, so I’m having an extended villain sleepover!" Lilith cheered, throwing her hands in the air. "And where better than here?"
