"I should head out now, thank you Miss Mamamiya. I think I’ll be alright now"

"No problem, make sure to watch the way to school okay" she replied, cheerful but calm.

But as soon as I was about to start walking she called out again.

"Oota"

"Hmm?"

"I almost forgot, the payment for this month and till the recovery of Miss Yamaguchi was been taken care of"

"..."

"The payment was done two months back by someone sent from your school, we haven’t actually accepted the offer yet since the previous ones paid is still vaild till this last month ending." The nurse continued while she walked to the desk.

"The money was accepted as a donation from a friend but we are not sure if it was okay, i wanted you to look at it" She said bringing a huge envelope. It was obvious the money donated was inside.

"Wait are you..."

"It’s okay" the other nurse from the desk tried to intercept but was stopped by Mamamiya, well if you ask me it’s a normal reaction for anyone. This kind of things are normally done with a doctor or some kind of head to the patients guardian or close relatives. She may not know but my background so Mamamiya actions seemed off.

I took the envelope, the brand was common but from how thick it was I guessed that there were another cover or envelope inside.

I opened it, seeing another envelope this time, there was a written name ’from Shion’.

Really, she’s so sweet

I would suspect a third party but the current event between me and Shion proved otherwise.

Two Months back, final day of last semester...

"It’s alright, I know who did it" I voiced out.

"Alright, then you will be accepting this offer then?" The nurse questioned.

"Yes"

"Right"

"Right I should go now before I’m late for school"

"Oh...and I’ll come again soon" I said waving to her as I walked passed the glass automatic door that slide opened on it own.

"Take your time" she muttered, I couldn’t catch her statement since was already rushing out with the door closing on me, but I could still see her gentle expression as she remained standing where I had left her.

"So ’hospital mom’ you sure your son is going to be fine" the other nurse uttered from the desk with her eyes finally shifting towards Mamamiya’s position.

"Stop with the jokes and mind your own business" Mamamiya protested as she walked to the desk.

The streets of Tokyo is lively even in the morning, as I walked through the walkway leading to my school, I watched the vehicles and people moving, their pattern inordinated and lively as they indulged in conversation and laughter. Though they were some like me who just walked in silence watching others while other completely ignored everyone as a whole.

For a moment my eyes shifted to the sky, seeing the sky which seemed to have no sun due to the clouds covering it, it was bright but I could still stare at it, a sense of calm and peace.

Right, the weather report today did say it was going to be sunny

"Yo Oota..." a familiar voice called out, I could hardly hear it but I was certain it was my name.

I turned to the right acrossed the road to the other walkway. There I saw a boy wearing the Karafuguru uniform. A friend of mine from school well more like a senior, though we are in same class currently I still treat all the same.

"Junpai senpai.." I muttered noticing him, he did waited ant time to cross over though the zebra crossing line as soon as the traffic light hit red. His appearance was of black hair and black eyes, he was about a year older than me.

"Wait, You’re just heading home now to change?...bro you’re already late" Junpai said noticing my clothing.

"I can say the same for you though" I said chuckling a bit, even if I had to force it, it was to cover my current state of mind and mood. Personal life remains private.

Junpai seem to have not notice as he dragged my hand while leading forward.

"No time to waste, we should get you changed"

"Ahh? Wait..i..hold on a second" I stammered from confusion, his a bit more agile today something must have happened.

"Time waits for no nobody" Junpai said completely ignoring me. I couldn’t tell what it was, but for some reasons Junpai was excited and the excitement source seem to be within the school. We I might be overthinking it, I mean he might just be packing hit now but later falls down in the mud. Let’s call it a morning glow.

Several blocks away from the school was the Kageyama residence, my family house to put it simply.

"Hurry up, Aki and Inosuki are waiting for us back at the Arcade" Junpai inserted standing in front of the gate while I walked in.

"Okay. I’ll be right back before you can say abracadabra" I closed the door, the house was dark and no-one was in.

The both must have left early today

I walked to my room upstairs to dress up quick.

Abracadabra...Junpai thought while he waited "Yeah right his not coming out" Junpai muttered.

"Alright let’s go" I Said coming out from the front door but as soon I open it Junpai wasn’t there.

He must have left already... I thought walking passed the gate

"Jezz Junapi senpai" I locked the gate before heading out.

On my was to school, I could already see the large building structures of school walls and dormitories. The maximum of students walking in had reduced to like almost none, this was proof of how late I was, for some reasons I feel like playing it sick.

"Yay Oota! Turn this way!"

A voice called out to me, well this one was pretty much obvious, I turned to the voice seeing Junpai with two other student. I’m you sure guys might already guessed by now, those other students were the students Junpai mentioned earlier ’Aki’ and ’Inosuki’.

Aki with His build muscular, yellow eyes and brown hair makes him a really hard for any one to miss. Well on the other hand Inosuki was gloomy and appeared lazy, he always seem tired ALWAY. They need to cut bro some slack.

"Yo" I muttered as they walked closer.

"Sup, How was the break treating y’all" Aki said his voice loud and cheerful. His hands were place on his pockets, I don’t know what to called or what his was trying to pull but I guess this is what we the teenage these days call swag.

"Well I kinda had a blast I guess, no school meant more time to work on my novel" I replied cheerfully

"Novel? Didn’t know you were writing a novel. What’s it about?" Aki question, his expression was filled with anticipation.

"Well it’s about a two different worlds finding their identity. Something along that line" I replied, honestly this wasn’t true. I wasn’t sure of the novel I was writing yet since it was based of on myself. I just pick whatever sounded could but close to what I’m actually writing.

"So wait like an isekai then?" Aki question further confusion and curiosity mixed.

"Not actually but close" for a moment I could sense that I was being watched closely so I shifted my eyes to it’s direction but then I only saw Inosuki looking at Junpai who was too busy with his smart phone.

"You okay" Aki asked noticing that I was distracted.

"Ahh..it’s nothing"

"I just noticed Junpai senpai have finally gotten himself a smartphone and a new model at that" I pointed out, though not actually pointing my fingers just said what I had noticed at the time.

"Oh yeah, shocking right? This dude has been on his phone for the past three days now ever since he got it" Aki inserted smirking.

Tho I couldn’t tell what he was going for but one thing crossed my mind ’girlfriend’, i know it’s kinda cliché so I will just keep this one to myself for now.

"He must really like his new phone ah, well I also was kind of fund of mine, when I newly got it"

"Comes with the pride of having it ahh" Aki added laughing hard watches how Fixated Junpai was with his phone, Only then did Junpai paid attention to us.

"Uh?...what are you laughing at?" Junpai muttered confused to Aki sudden outburst.

"Ahhh it’s nothing, I was just thinking of something" Aki replied, his laugher lessening but still lingering underneath.

Honestly this is a normal interaction between Aki and anyone, his hard to read or hate. I think of him as the light in our little group, I’m sure everyone does.

"Are you okay?" The words voiced next to my ear, catching me off guard. It was Inosuki who seemed to have been watching me closely.

"Ugh..I’m fine, just a little tired."

"Right" Inosuki backed off, his eyes still staring at me for a moment before facing the others. Well I wasn’t lying when I said I was tired, Inosuki had noticed that and didn’t press further into it.

We continued to walked to school through the gates, with Junpai and Aki having their usual chaotic conversations, both me and Inosuki walked in silence along side each other.

Noticing how silence we were Aki rushed back to drag us along, his hands around our necks, it normally is annoying but this is so like Aki, which I was already used to so yeah, I just played along.
