Train Survival: I Can Evolve Everything!

Chapter 864: This is a path never before trodden, a path unlike any other.

A road.

So that was it...

So the Blasphemy Card was never simply a power designed to target [divinity].

Or rather, it had never targeted divinity at all.

It was merely that those [False Gods] stood in the way of the Blasphemy Card, and so they had to be dealt with along the way.

This was not unique to the Blasphemy Card.

The Demon Card, the Disaster Card, and all other Card Sequences had never possessed any specific targeting against [Gods].

[Ring of Blasphemy]

Its ability was not some kind of energy in the practical sense, nor some form of amplification. It was simply a road.

An unknown road, an [Infinite] road that would never be the same for any who walked upon it.

No one could record a second identical Blasphemy Card appearing throughout history.

Because their very existence was inherently different.

Three fragments.

They were not the product of some original Blasphemy Card being shattered.

Rather, they had always been broken.

Always searching for the master they yearned for.

[It is the Card Sequence that yearns for us.]

Those were Shaya's words.

The Blasphemy Card was the same.

When the three fragments converged, the Blasphemy Card unique to that seeker would be born.

Its birth reflected the heart of its holder.

The heart, filled with desire.

Desire, forging conviction.

Conviction, then becoming infinite.

Ye Qiyan saw that road.

A blank road, one never before trodden.

The road lay in the Wasteland, in the world, on the platforms, in the cities... in every corner.

As long as one boldly walked forward without looking back, it would never come to an end.

He opened his eyes. In those black pupils, left and right respectively, appeared the golden reflection of gears and the black inverted cross.

And at the center of his brow, a spiral pattern of azure light flickered faintly into visibility.

"So there's really no change at all, huh."

Ye Qiyan let out a wry chuckle.

"Even though I now have a Ring and a road, when it comes down to it, I was going to walk this path anyway."

His tone had never once wavered.

His direction had never once chosen backward.

The meaning of the [Ring of Blasphemy] was simply to set that road in stone.

Beyond that~

"Hm... if only a False God were here right now, I feel like crushing a C-grade God wouldn't be a problem at all."

His smile grew even wider.

The Colorless standing upon the earth clutched at its chest.

That was where the heart that should have devoured the colors of [Twelve Eyes] resided.

But now, that heart was pounding violently because of His joy.

He was excited, and so this body was excited as well.

"Ye Qiyan!"

He cried out the human's name! Surpassing birth! Surpassing refusal! The joy of today! It was unprecedented ecstasy!

"You! Will definitely be mine!!!"

Colorless's will drove this body, paying no mind whatsoever to whether that so-called divine corpse could even hold up under such wild and terrifying power.

The ring of Colorless expanded behind Him, and the power that devoured color surged torrentially toward Ye Qiyan.

"Sorry, but I only belong to myself."

The Tear-Engraving Sword returned.

The power of [Formless Hero] merged into the blade from the Ancient Battlefield.

The clash between the two tore the sky asunder.

The rain of Red Tears and the power of Colorless stood opposed to one another.

Ye Qiyan's legion and the warriors of the Golden Tribe clashed endlessly with the enemy on this battlefield.

One after another, the colorless Apostles descended from the [Realm of Colorlessness] into this world.

Yulia and Aloflis, who stood beside the coffin, also joined the battle.

They were somewhat different from the rest of the Golden Tribe.

Aloflis was alive.

And Yulia?

She possessed a corpse. She possessed a corpse that yearned for [Awakening].

As the daughter of the Golden Tribe's Governor, Yulia used her authority to summon the Golden Guard, which existed only in myth.

Thirteen golden mech-soldiers descended from the heavens, facing off against those colorless Apostles.

Beyond this world.

Countless pairs of eyes were all anticipating the conclusion of this battle.

Not just in the Wasteland.

[Lady Eris's Corona-level Arena]

In the depths of the garden, Lady Eris, slumbering amidst the sea of flowers, opened her eyes.

She gazed upon the scene on the moon, the corners of her lips curling upward.

"So that little thief was you, Ye Qiyan, hm~ Hehe~ How amusing~ I do look forward to you making your way here~"

In Suoluo City.

The headquarters of the Heavenly Organization, rebuilt by Fang Cheng, the Lord of Chalk, was located here.

He looked toward the moon on the livestream screen. Beside him, [Forgotten], wearing a smiling mask, had a body that would not stop trembling.

The old man, who had changed into a clean set of armor, scratched his head with some discomfort.

"That seems to be my Dragon Knight friend."

The short, stout man beside Don Quixote tugged at his beard.

"Master Don Quixote, that thing on the moon is just a reflection. How can you recognize him?"

"Haha, because it looks just like him!"

The Abukado headquarters world.

Inside the tavern, the members of Abukado drank and watched the scene at the same time.

Someone laughed and shouted at the man sitting by the bar counter:

"Boss! Do you think that Altos in the reflection has a talent too!?"

"He definitely does! Man, I'm so jealous of him. He's completely famous now!"

"Altos was already super famous, you know! His wanted posters sold like hotcakes!"

The man by the bar listened to these words, a smile on his face as he raised a glass overflowing with ice-cold beer toward the livestream screen.

"Even though we of Abukado are enemies with the Emperor's Order, we're all Train Conductors at heart, and we're all humans. Come on, everyone, let's wish this Mr. Altos a victory."

"Ohh!!"

Glasses raised, cheers erupted, jubilation reigned!

The clamor of voices was deafening.

[Wasteland]

[Eternal Moon]

Gray fog arrived quietly.

The winged eyeball heard a voice in an empty clearing.

"Hm? It's the Gray Fog. Why have you come?"

"Why are you speaking in human language?"

"Because it's amusing, isn't it? Just as amusing as the human race itself."

"Hehe, I know that Five Moon is in human hands, but that's fine. What's wrong with that? Oh, speaking of which, didn't you partner up with the train system?"

"Ah~ I see. You think Train Conductors are too strong?

But sorry~ Gray Fog, I just want to stay here and look forward to the future~ So, I won't be helping you~ However, beings like [Void] should be more than happy to see you~"

"But..."

That voice suddenly paused.

"If you still intend to bring about the End for humans, just like you did for the Hero and Gold races... then I will help humanity."

The Gray Fog fell silent for a moment.

After a long while, He vanished from that place.

On the empty moon, that ethereal voice was crystal clear.

"Humans are not obstacles blocking the road ahead. They love to blaze new trails, they love to move forward, and so... the moon shall illuminate their path, even if the sky is dark with no sun in sight, even if the End itself arrives."
