Ren Feng left the hotel, with Xu Tinglan following beside him.

"This time, I really have to thank you."

Xu Tinglan said with a smile.

"No need to be so polite, it was nothing."

Xu Tinglan nodded, then said a bit hesitantly, "Do you have time tonight? If not, maybe we could grab a meal together."

"Uh, I'm afraid I can't." Ren Feng smiled. "I've still got something to do tonight."

Xu Tinglan was a little disappointed. Forcing a smile, she said, "Alright then, I hope next time when you're free we can have a proper get-together."

"Mm."

After saying goodbye to Xu Tinglan, Ren Feng was ready to head back. The gathering had already taken several hours, and now it was almost evening.

Just as he was about to leave, all of a sudden, Ren Feng sensed a presence. He immediately turned around and looked toward the top of a distant building. There, a figure was standing, and from afar that person even raised a hand to him.

Cyan Dragon was standing on the rooftop of a building. This building was the tallest in the area, and standing so high gave a feeling like overlooking the whole world.

Beside him, there were many wine flasks laid out.

Seeing that Ren Feng had noticed him, Cyan Dragon's lips curved into a small smile. His spiritual sense really was powerful; even though Cyan Dragon had suppressed his aura to be so weak, he had still been sensed.

He tilted his head back and took another swig of wine, then happily set the flask aside. After that, he casually propped himself up with his hands and sat on the edge of the rooftop. Below him was a building nearly a hundred meters tall; just looking at that height was enough to make one dizzy.

Not long after, Ren Feng had come up.

"You took a bit longer than I expected."

Cyan Dragon spoke as he waved his hand, and a wine flask placed to the side shot straight toward Ren Feng.

Ren Feng caught it with one hand, and heard Cyan Dragon say, "This wine's not bad, it's a fine brew. Try it."

Ren Feng pulled out the stopper and took a sip. That rich fragrance poured into his mouth, and there was also a surge of force. In the next instant, that surge rapidly turned fiery and sharp, and like a sweeping storm, it drove the True Qi throughout his entire body.

It felt as if his whole body was surging.

"What kind of wine is this?"

Ren Feng looked in surprise at the wine flask in his hand, disbelief still in his eyes. This wine actually stirred up his True Qi, as if even his power had increased, almost like it could enhance his cultivation.

"In any case, it's good wine." Cyan Dragon smiled. "I don't have much of this left. Just giving you one flask already pains me."

Ren Feng tapped his foot, and holding the wine flask, sat down right next to Cyan Dragon. The two sat shoulder to shoulder, facing the open view ahead as all the towering skyscrapers unfolded before their eyes.

"Impressive view, isn't it?"

"Yeah, when you're looking down from above, you always get this kind of feeling." Ren Feng nodded.

"The land is like a painting." Cyan Dragon let out a sigh. "The emperors of old must have felt the same when they gazed upon their realm."

"I wouldn't know. I've never been an emperor." Ren Feng took another sip.

"Go easy on that, once it's gone there's no more." Cyan Dragon frowned slightly. "Even Senior Sword God hasn't had this more than a few times."

"Then do you still have more?"

"A few jars left."

"Just send him a jar then, problem solved."

Cyan Dragon was left speechless. "Fine, next time I go see him, I'll bring one."

"So what did you call me here for?" Ren Feng asked.

"Here's the thing," Cyan Dragon said, "this matter has to do with the Ancient Era."

"Oh?" Ren Feng looked at Cyan Dragon.

"The overseas Dragon Group recently got some intel. The United States, the United Kingdom, Russia and a number of other countries have all sent warships and aircraft carriers toward one place, and quite a few experts are also flying to that same area."

Cyan Dragon took a sip of wine, then said seriously, "This place is in the South Pacific Ocean. We've sent people there as well. Guess what they saw?"

"What?"

Ren Feng asked in puzzlement.

"A thunderstorm—a boundless thunderstorm of lightning, stretching on for dozens of kilometers!" There was a grave look in Cyan Dragon's eyes. "The energy contained in that thunderstorm is something even we might not be able to withstand!"

Ren Feng's heart tightened.

"What's strangest is that this storm front couldn't be detected by modern instruments. If we hadn't seen it with our own eyes, it would be impossible to believe. It completely defies modern science. Later, after reconnaissance, we found that within this thunderstorm that stretches for dozens of kilometers, a large island is concealed. But what can be confirmed is that before the storm appeared, there was no island at that location at all."

Ren Feng listened in growing astonishment. "You mean this island only appeared after the thunderstorm?"

"No, what I mean is that the thunderstorm is nothing but an Array. It had never been activated before, so the island was concealed, like a barrier. But now that the thunderstorm has appeared, it's like the key to this Array has been turned. As long as you pass through the thunderstorm, you'll have a chance to enter the island."

"So according to you, this island is likely an Ancient Era ruin?"

"Exactly. This storm reaches all the way to the heavens; there's no way in from above, and there's extremely strong electromagnetic interference. Yet before this, that stretch of sea had always been calm. Most importantly, this thundercloud storm has lasted a full ten days already."

Cyan Dragon said, "Things that make no sense scientifically can be explained if we look at them through Martial Arts. Our Dragon Group members have already discussed it, and the probability that the island inside is an Ancient Era ruin is as high as eighty percent. It might even be the best-preserved of all Ancient Era ruins in the world."

"We're all very curious what might be inside this ruin. For such an earth-shattering Array to guard it, and for it to have remained untouched for tens of thousands of years, completely cut off from the outside world—this kind of Ancient Era ruin could definitely hold clues related to the Ancient Era."

Hearing Cyan Dragon say this, Ren Feng's heart stirred. He recalled the Ancient Era ruin Zeus had mentioned before; it seemed to be the same place Cyan Dragon was talking about, both located in the South Pacific Ocean.

"You haven't sent anyone in yet?"

Ren Feng asked.

"Not yet, it's too dangerous. The diameter of that thundercloud storm takes a full ten minutes to fly across. Those ten minutes carry an enormous risk. Ordinary people simply can't get through; only Martial Arts experts could enter."

Cyan Dragon said in a deep voice, "But there's another point—an important one. Previously, when a Dragon Group expert approached that thundercloud storm, he faintly felt his cultivation being slightly suppressed. After several experiments, we reached a conclusion: this Ancient Era ruin has a suppressive effect on the cultivation of experts in higher Martial Arts Realms!"
