Top-class Bodyguard
Chapter 1137 - 1113: I’ll Show You What Cruelty Really Means!
"Okay."
Ren Feng said calmly on the surface, but in his heart killing intent had already risen. If he really got discovered by the probe, then he could only go with the worst plan and kill him on the spot.
The Mountain Guardian's face was still calm, but the next second, threads of his divine sense slipped into Ren Feng's mind!
Ren Feng tensed up inside, True Qi quietly beginning to circulate in his body as he prepared to explode into a kill!
He felt as if time stopped in that moment, and right then, he could sense that his Soul Sea was about to be probed.
Once the probe reached the Soul Sea, everything would be exposed. How could someone at the Divine Realm possibly have opened a Soul Opening Sea?
Just as Ren Feng was about to make a move, all of a sudden, a faint energy surged out from within his Soul Sea and wrapped around the entire Soul Sea.
What's this?
Ren Feng's heart stirred and he suppressed his urge to act. At this moment, the Mountain Guardian's divine sense silently swept past right over the Soul Sea, as if it hadn't found anything at all.
The Mountain Guardian's divine sense swept around in a circle, but found nothing. He withdrew his divine sense, looked at the respectful Ren Feng in front of him, and frowned. Could he have been overthinking it?
Ren Feng let out a breath of relief in his heart; the taut string finally slackened. Luckily the golden dragon's soul was there, or he definitely would've been exposed.
"Mountain Guardian, is there anything else?"
The Mountain Guardian shook his head. "Go do your work. Next time, try to use your brain."
"Yes."
After Ren Feng spoke, he walked off into the distance, feeling a cold sweat on his back. If he'd been discovered, his whole operation would be over and there'd be no way to rescue anyone.
On this mountain, blue sky overhead, the white clouds seemed close enough to touch, and the air was incredibly fresh. But Ren Feng was rapidly searching through Kapeen's memories.
In those memories, Mount Olympus was divided among several major forces; the buildings were partitioned by faction. Management here was similar to the Tang Sect's style, and as for coordinating all of Mount Olympus, people were jointly recommended by the major forces to take charge.
In his memories, there were several restricted areas within the building complexes. Aside from one known to be a closed-door cultivation forbidden land, the rest were all vague and unclear—just places no one was allowed to enter.
The priest's memories said Noah was here, and Princess Lucia had been sent here as well. The problem was, where exactly was Lucia being held?
Ren Feng was momentarily stumped, but he didn't stop walking and soon stepped onto the street.
These buildings were similar to those of the Magic Academy—strange shapes of all kinds. Some looked like Muslim-style architecture, others mixed in Western European medieval elements. Very odd.
Ren Feng walked onto the street, and there he could see other people from Mount Olympus, as well as some experts floating in midair, patrolling as guards.
Mount Olympus was huge, and so were these building clusters. As Ren Feng guessed at the place where Princess Lucia was being held, he began his search.
Some people nearby greeted Ren Feng. "Hey, Kapeen, how come you're back again?"
"Came back for some business," Ren Feng replied.
"Oh, then I hope the Mountain Guardian didn't kick your ass, haha!"
Ren Feng didn't respond to this kind of mockery. He wove through the buildings, checking them from left to right.
However, to avoid being discovered, he didn't heavily use his divine sense. There were too many experts here; if he did, he'd be exposed immediately.
After searching for a while, he had basically combed through the entire building complex and found nothing. There were still a few forbidden areas he hadn't searched.
Dammit, could they be inside the forbidden zones?
Ren Feng frowned inwardly and sat down beneath a tree to think. The tree grew at a corner of the street and was one of the few trees on the mountain.
"Hey, Kapeen, weren't you already off the mountain? How come you're still here?"
A young man looked at Ren Feng in puzzlement.
"Oh, had some stuff to handle, so I came back," Ren Feng said with a smile.
Nelson walked over, sat down beside Ren Feng, and immediately slung an arm over his shoulder.
"Kapeen, you still remember what you said last time, right?" Nelson looked at Ren Feng excitedly, his eyes a little shifty and lewd.
"What?"
Ren Feng was a bit confused. Damn, there was nothing about this in Kapeen's memories.
"Hey, man, that's not very cool of you. Didn't you tell me last time you came back? I'm gonna get a chance to go out too, and I also want to go… experience it!"
Nelson's eyebrows seemed to arch upwards, making him look even more sleazy.
"You mean, that…"
"Yeah, yeah, yeah! That thing." Nelson's eyes lit up. "Tell me, which place's women taste better?"
Phew, so after all that circling around, this is what you're after?
Ren Feng said with a smile, "I remember now, there was something like that. Let me give you a recommendation. I went to Germany before…"
As Ren Feng spoke, Nelson's eyes grew brighter and brighter, like he wished he could fly out right now.
"Hey, Nelson, right, do you know what guests we've had on Mount Olympus recently?"
Ren Feng asked casually. "Anyone at all, as long as they're new arrivals on the mountain."
"Yeah, they're in that area in the northeast corner," Nelson said. "But I don't know what they are either. Anyway, that place is a forbidden area; we can't go in."
"Yeah, I was just asking." Ren Feng smiled, but his heart was heating up.
"Alright then, Kapeen, I gotta get back to work. I have to fight for my next chance to go out. Otherwise, I'll never get to taste those women!"
"Sure, good luck."
After Nelson left, the smile faded from Ren Feng's face, and he walked toward the northeast corner.
From afar, he could see a huge building there. Its doors were tightly shut, surrounded by a wall, and there were people clearly stationed as guards.
This should be where Noah is.
Ren Feng's eyes narrowed slightly. After weighing things over in his mind, he walked forward.
"Stop!"
A cold voice laced with killing intent rang out. In an instant, Ren Feng saw that everyone in front of him was staring at him warily, all of them assuming offensive stances.
"I'm just passing by, taking a stroll," Ren Feng said with a laugh.
"Go back. This is a forbidden area," one man in front said coldly.
"Forbidden area?" Ren Feng said with a doubtful look. "No, that's not right. I remember last time I came back, this place wasn't a forbidden area. How'd it suddenly become one?"
"That's none of your business," the other replied icily. "Turn around and go back, or I'll show you what cruelty really means."
"Alright then." Ren Feng shrugged and turned to leave. But after only a few steps, he suddenly slapped his forehead and turned back.
"Right, brother, I've got something to ask you."
