Chapter 1348: Or Else I Won’t Talk to You

Chapter 1348: Chapter 1348: Or Else I Won’t Talk to You

Mason Nightshade hasn’t seen Aurelia Shaw for a few days, but during these days, Aurelia has been secretly watching Mason.

However, Mason’s residence is extremely secure, making it difficult to catch a glimpse inside. Even if she could see inside, Aurelia didn’t want to risk getting discovered by Mason.

She closed the surveillance footage, went online, and browsed the latest entertainment news.

The first Country Z drama starring Alison, "Return," achieved a viewership of over five billion.

Alison is a new rising star from M Nation.

The movie that snatched the "World" broadcast channels is called "Return."

"’Return’... the name is quite interesting." Aurelia dialed Viscount Zhou’s number on her phone.

The phone was sent over by Alaric Wood’s servant.

It took a while for the call to go through, and a weary and impatient voice came from the other end, "Who the hell are you? Hurry up and say what you need! I’m not in the mood today."

Aurelia raised an eyebrow, "Should I wait until you’re in a better mood before calling back?"

"Aurelia?"

Viscount Zhou was suddenly stunned.

The next second, Aurelia heard the sound of sobbing, surprised.

"Viscount Zhou, are you crying? I’m fine. Didn’t you see the news online about me being released? How come you’re so sentimental?"

Viscount Zhou sniffled, "Who said I’m crying? I... I have... a cold! Yeah, a cold! My nose is stuffed!

You have the nerve to call me after being released. I tried calling you a million times, and your number was disconnected! Disconnected!

I’ve been looking for you for so long, almost thought a terrorist kidnapped you and I was about to call the police!"

I wasn’t kidnapped by terrorists; I was "warmly invited" by the Mafia.

"It’s my fault. I had a problem with my phone number and it was canceled. Call me at this number from now on."

"Aurelia, you must promise me to tell me immediately if you ever change your number again! If you disappear suddenly like this again, I... I won’t talk to you anymore!"

Not wanting to say they were done, Viscount Zhou could only try to threaten her this way.

But then he thought about it and realized he couldn’t bear not talking to her either.

Aurelia chuckled.

"Are you a kid? So childish."

"I don’t care, you have to promise me! Otherwise, I really won’t talk to you!"

"Alright, alright, I promise, I promise."

Aurelia couldn’t help but laugh again. Ever since he was young, Viscount Zhou was like a child. She treated him like a younger brother and naturally, would go along with him.

"Recently... that new starlet from M Nation is quite arrogant."

Viscount Zhou heard her tone... "You want to teach her a lesson?"

"Just arrived in Country Z and stole my resources, giving me a hard time. I won’t take this lying down. She must understand that the entertainment industry in Country Z isn’t just for anyone to enter." Aurelia said as she touched her nose, a sly glint in her eye.

"Want me to blacklist her?"

"Can you do it?"

Viscount Zhou fell silent.

When he first heard that "Return" dared to take "World’s" resources, he angrily called various major TV stations intending to directly blacklist the drama.

But he hit a wall.

This drama... or rather, its lead actress, Alison, has quite the influential background.

Embarrassed at being exposed by Aurelia, Viscount Zhou asked, "What are you planning to do?"

"I’ll release news across the web that ’World’ will premiere early on major video platforms. I not only want to give Alison a lesson, but also show the major TV stations who’s in charge."
