"Kept you waiting?" Gu Shengyin asked.

Cen Yuye shook his head. "I just got here too."

Gu Shengyin neither confirmed nor denied it.

Sometimes, for some things, there’s no need to be so particular.

Cen Yuye walked around to the other side, opened the car door, and made a "please" gesture toward Gu Shengyin.

Gu Shengyin was about to walk over when, out of nowhere, a woman’s voice called out to her from behind.

"Xie Han!"

Her steps paused, and she turned to look.

It was Zhang Hanhan.

Today she was wearing a pantsuit-style skirt set, and her hair had been cut quite a bit shorter; her whole aura looked somewhat different.

But in Gu Shengyin’s opinion, this kind of outfit didn’t suit Zhang Hanhan.

At a glance, Zhang Hanhan saw Cen Yuye standing on the other side of the car.

It was simply because this man was far too eye-catching.

Even a woman like Zhang Hanhan, whose heart already belonged to someone else, couldn’t help zoning out for a second when she saw such an outstanding man.

Then she noticed his posture—it looked like he was holding the door open for Xie Han.

A flicker of delight rose in Zhang Hanhan’s heart.

Zhang Hanhan glanced at Cen Yuye again.

Gu Shengyin let out a mocking laugh. "Miss Zhang, what kind of delusion makes you think that a man who’s been broken up with me for so long could still have enough charm to use his name to order me around?"

Something stirred in Cen Yuye’s heart.

From that one sentence, he picked up quite a bit of information.

What concerned him most was that this Xie Ming seemed to be Xie Han’s ex-boyfriend.

The color drained from Zhang Hanhan’s face; she hadn’t expected Gu Shengyin to speak so bluntly.

Gu Shengyin went on, "Let me repeat myself: I have not the slightest interest in anything to do with Miss Zhang and Miss Zhang’s boyfriend, nor do I have any intention of developing any relationship with Miss Zhang beyond that of strangers. Please, Miss Zhang, know when to stop and don’t bother me again."
