Time Travel: The Heroine Has Arrived!
Chapter 2037: The Innocent Ex-Girlfriend vs. the Blackened Current Girlfriend (Part 3)
At this time, Xie Han was no longer the girl in college clinging to various illusions.
She was very clear that the best partner she could have in the future would be someone of equal social status, a man who could benefit both their careers, commonly known as a commercial marriage.
Even if she didn’t want a commercial marriage and wanted to pursue true love, she at least needed to find someone with similar values and lifestyle habits.
That way, it wouldn’t be too exhausting for them to be together.
She no longer had the time or energy to change for or accommodate anyone.
She no longer had any extra feelings for Xie Ming.
Regarding this woman named Zhang Hanhan, Xie Han seriously explained the first time that she and Xie Ming were completely over, hoping she wouldn’t bother her.
But it was useless.
That Zhang Hanhan was like a fanatic, constantly coming to Xie Han to show off how great Xie Ming was to her.
Eventually, a fed-up Xie Han simply ignored her; she had no common language with such brainless and irrational women.
Besides, she didn’t want any connection with her ex-boyfriend.
Initially, ignoring it seemed to work, as Xie Han’s schedule was tight, and Zhang Hanhan generally couldn’t catch her even when she wanted to.
But then, conveniently, Xie Ming, who hadn’t been in contact with Xie Han for a while, reappeared.
He seemed to know what his current girlfriend had been doing and, feeling guilty, asked Xie Han out to apologize.
Xie Han originally didn’t want any contact with Xie Ming, but she couldn’t deal with his crazy girlfriend, so she decided to meet him, hoping to talk to him about dealing with his girlfriend.
She didn’t expect that this meeting would ruin things.
It turned out Xie Ming wasn’t there because of Zhang Hanhan; it was just an excuse.
Throughout the meeting, Xie Ming kept talking about how he couldn’t forget Xie Han over the years and how unreasonable his current girlfriend was.
"In fact, Hanhan, I’m with Wang Hanhan only because her name is exactly the same as yours," Xie Ming said passionately.
Xie Han’s response was to throw her drink in his face, "Scumbag!"
In Xie Han’s eyes, Zhang Hanhan was annoying, but Xie Ming, who was unfaithful and two-timing, was even more disgusting.
She decided to not dislike Zhang Hanhan as much, as she was, in a way, a pitiable person.
But in reality, while she pitied others, others thought of her as despicable.
Zhang Hanhan found out about Xie Ming meeting privately with Xie Han.
She always knew that in her boyfriend’s heart there was an untouchable cinnabar mole, a white moonlight he could never forget.
She felt very inferior on one hand and very much hated Xie Han on the other.
She thought, since they had broken up, why did Xie Han still have to meet with Xie Ming? Was she trying to get back with him now that he was successful?
This thought fermented to a peak as Xie Ming’s attitude towards her grew colder and colder.
Eventually, Zhang Hanhan became entirely obsessed.
She secretly hired a private detective to track Xie Han’s schedule and followed her to an island vacation once.
