Chapter 660 - A Lasting Impression
Once their conversation had come to an end, Neo wished to leave as quickly as possible to go and check on his disciple.
To aid with this, Karizen snapped his fingers and brought them over to the place where he had sent Yether.
Earlier, he had been unable to do so since he had brought Neo out of Asmodeus's world without his permission.
To enter the heavenly realm, one would either have to be a God or someone close to a God.
Neo's anger towards Karizen at that moment would hinder him from entering the heavenly realm.
Not to mention that he was a demon whose entry was already barred from that place.
However, this time, through Neo's acceptance which acted as an entry permission for Karizen, the two immortal beings were able to enter the heavenly realm.
Though confused, the guardian of the heavenly gates allowed them to enter after seeing that Neo was letting the Demon Lord accompany him without any pressure from the other man.
Karizen had been to this realm a few times in the past but they were all for official purposes.
This was the first time he had appeared in the heavenly realm and it was all for the sake of having fun, spending his free time doing whatever he wished.
Therefore, he did not waste this opportunity and gawked at the heavenly beings they passed by along the way.
The heavenly realm was a vast space where Gods got to choose where their residences would be.
Asmodeus had chosen his abode to be high up in the clouds because he felt at home there.
On the other hand, Neo had opted for the perpetual night sky where he got to gaze on the starry scene outside his window at any part of the day.
Since there was an abundance of area for them, the residence of each God was separated by a large gap to give each their privacy.
Thus soon it was only Karizen and Neo as they headed towards his residence surrounded by the starry sky.
Neo did not care too much about the Demon following him and let him wander while he headed straight to Yether's room.
As expected, Yether was not in too good of a shape as the task had drained quite a large amount of his energy.
However, they had succeeded in what they were supposed to do and would not have to work for a long time, giving Yether enough time to recover.
He then touched his disciple's forehead, letting a light pass from his fingertip and into the disciple who laid with his eyes closed on the bed.
Asmodeus had done this once in the past, when he sent a fragment of his blessing to the child he had brought over to the world he created.
Neo had done the same right now as he blessed his disciple to have a quick recovery.
Ensuring that there was nothing wrong with Yether, Neo left his room and headed to his.
He found Karizen laid on his bed which made the God frown but just as he was about to chide him for behaving unceremoniously with him, his attention was diverted.
The window outside which the stars shone brightly glistened for a second before a different scene appeared there.
Karizen sat up and he watched the view outside the window with a smirk forming on his lips.
"Heh!" He snickered as he had been right in saying that the Bird God had made an appearance.
His eyes then fell on Neo whose attention had been fixed on the birds flying before a child whose face didn't look too pleased to see them.
What happened rest was already known and Karizen soon left but without teasing Neo one last time.
The thought-provoking question lingered in the God's mind as he gazed at the scene before him.
Karizen was long gone by now so he had no necessity to keep his guard up so he focused on Asmodeus and the conversation taking place with the child he had brought over to his world.
What he did not know was that everything that had taken place today had attracted the Great Demon Lord's interest and he was looking forward to seeing what happened next.
Not only with the world he had been to today but also between the two Gods who once were friends but now were bitter enemies.
___
Back inside the world that Neo was watching from his safe corner in the heavenly realm,
Yvonne was waiting to hear what Asmodeus had to say in his defense.
He had created so many beautiful faces in this world and not one of them were even close to the faces she had seen all her life in her previous world.
However, his creativity came to an end when it came to the King?
Of all the people he could have designed the King after, it had to be her father from her previous world?
The more she thought of this, the angrier she got at the Bird God who chose to be lazy just when it came to this person.
She continued to leer at the bird hovering above her but found no answer coming from him.
Asmodeus was stunned to hear her question at first and took a moment to recall what she was talking about.
However, he soon found the answer buried deep inside his mind.
Back when he was writing the script as a part of the wager, he had already decided to send it to Yvonne St. Claire, the CEO of Platina Entertainment.
She was the best in the business and to gain her recognition, something which even Neo had not yet done, would give him an instant win.
Therefore, he had glanced at the human back when he had just begun writing.
At that moment, she had been having dinner with her grandfather and little brother.
While she was conversing with her little brother who sat on the opposite side of the table, for a split second, her eyes flitted above his head.
Behind the brother was a wall on which was mounted a large portrait of a couple with a baby.
The man stood beside a woman who was seated on a chair and in her arms was a baby swaddled in pure white linen.
Yvonne's eyes lingered on that portrait for a second before she looked away and focused on her brother who, as always, was complaining about their grandfather and his regressive ways of doing business.
The God wasn't too interested in their conflicts and had left while the young woman was trying to mediate between the two bickering fools.
This was the only impression he had of Yvonne St. Claire before he sent his script over to her company.
However, even this brief moment of observation had left a lasting impression on him.
Therefore, when he had written his script, he suddenly used her name for the playmate of the Princess whose only role was to be a smart child, helping the Princess and Glennise Brodie achieve their wicked goals.
As for the matter regarding the King's appearance resembling her father from the past world, there was a simple explanation for that as well.
Most of the main characters had been created according to the description he had written about them in the script.
He focused on the main characters, giving a detailed description of their appearance.
However, when it came to the extras, he had half-heartedly filled out the details for them or let their appearance be chosen at random.
Therefore, the characters whose names weren't even mentioned in the script yet existed in the world all followed the general rules he had set for this world.
Members of the same family would have similar traits which would make it easy for them to be recognized.
An example was the Tanner family who wasn't mentioned in the script but all the men had fiery red hair and sharp eyes.
Likewise, the Royal family would have blonde hair and blue eyes with the only exception of Prince Draco whose eyes were emerald.
When he had written the details of the King, his mind had flitted to the scene he had witnessed with Yvonne St. Claire and her momentary distraction towards the portrait.
This had led his powers to subconsciously create a King who resembled that man from the portrait.
"Ahh…" Asmodeus mumbled as he tried to figure out a way to explain this matter to this child who was leering at him.
