Thrown Into A New World: Let The Punishment Begin!

Chapter 362 - Loved By All

The Opera group headed by the man who acted as the town crier, Mr. Asher, soon moved into the rooms that the Cozy Inn had provided them.

A total of 28 actors who worked in the Opera group were allotted rooms in the two-storeyed inn run by the Thomas family.

Mr. Asher and his two subordinates managed the group and hence were given the best rooms in the inn.

It took no time for the jovial and friendly daughter of the Innkeeper to get acquainted with the people who had rented rooms in the inn.

Hilda's cute appearance and her sincere attitude towards everyone she met made the artists of this group to instantly get attached to her.

It had been two days since they had moved in and they were already close to the little girl who tried her best to help her family in whatever little she could do.

It was lunchtime right now and the dining hall in their inn was completely occupied for the first time since it had begun business.

The business in Cozy Inn was not failing but at the same time, it wasn't blooming and raking in money.

However, this changed due to Mr. Asher and his group who had rented every room in their inn for four days.

Everyone present in the dining room was watching how the little girl carried over baskets of bread to each table and set it before them for them to consume.

She even helped her mother in carrying out the jugs of water every time they were emptied.

The lead actress of this play was a woman named Yasmin who loved cute little animals and children so it was without a doubt that she had fallen in love with the cute little girl with big doe eyes.

"Hilly, you will come to watch me tomorrow evening, won't you?" Yasmin pouted while glancing at the girl who had come over to her table with a jug of water.

Though Hilda desired to watch the play, she did not promise Yasmin anything.

Instead, she turned towards her mother and nodded when she saw the older woman nod.

'Such an obedient child!' Mr. Asher noted as he had caught this silent conversation between the Thomas family's women.

"Since every one of us will be busy with the play, you won't be having any work here." He spoke up and glanced at Mr. Thomas, the innkeeper and Hilda's father.

"So I hope that your entire family could come to watch our play. Our group has worked very hard to perfect everything." He revealed and it looked like he was coercing the man to accept his words.

Mr. Thomas was hesitant to leave his inn alone but looking at his wife and child's expectant faces, the man had to give way.

"We would be happy to watch it." He uttered and nodded that their family would come over tomorrow evening to watch the play.

'I can ask the chef and his wife to watch the inn while we are away.' He decided on how to manage this situation.

Thinking of this, a smile blossomed on his face as he thought of how things had changed in a matter of a few months.

Earlier, he and his family were servants in the St. Claire Earl's Mansion but now, he was a business owner who hired servants of his own.

He would never be able to repay the person who had left that big bag of gold coins at their doorstep which had encouraged him to leave the position of the gardener at the St. Claire Mansion.

These gold coins had served as his investment for buying this inn and running it until his business could take off which it now had.

Hilda smiled as well since she could make out what her father might be thinking of.

'Father doesn't know who left that bag of gold at our door but I think I know who it could have been.' She lowered her head when a certain young boy came to her mind.

The air of confidence and he had exuded when he introduced himself and the pride that he had for his name was still something that she recalled vividly.

'Sir Frit…' She had never forgotten this name ever since she had met him.

Hilda doubted that it was Sir Frit who had left the bag of gold coins on their doorstep as soon after that, they had heard the news of the two young boys' departure from the fief.

'We went our separate ways but I hope that we cross paths someday, Sir Frit.' She raised her head with hope filling her heart at the thought of meeting that young boy once again.

As lunch came to an end, while everyone was returning to their own rooms, Yasmin dragged Hilda away to her room to spend some time with her.

Hilda's parents shook their heads but this was common behavior for everyone who stayed at their inn.

"Our daughter is loved by all." Mrs. Thomas smiled as she leaned towards her husband's chest now that they were alone in the lobby.

Mr. Thomas agreed with his wife because the same was true for the people living in this town.

Hilda was accepted by everyone in Baskin and they treated her as their own child whenever they met her.

Therefore, they were sure that even Yasmin had taken a liking to their daughter just like everyone else.

"Our Hilda has Almighty Asmodeus' blessings with her." Mr. Thomas muttered as he held his wife in his arms.

If Yvonne was here then nothing could have stopped her from rolling her eyes at the comment that this man had made.

Of course, this was true as that blue bird had created this world surrounding the Male lead and the Female lead.

They would lead their individual lives until they were fated to meet in the future but this did not mean that they would lead simple lives.

Their lives which would serve as the path for their character development and mold their personalities for their future selves would certainly be out of the ordinary.

The male lead, Fritzen Rosenhyde was already a Prince which proved that there was nothing ordinary about him.

As for the female lead, even if she was living a normal life, it was clear that she was special in her own way.

Her aura attracted people to her and they could not help but get closer to her.

Was this the 'Female lead's halo' that made everything possible for her or was it her genuine personality that attracted people towards her?

This was not known but what was known was that there was no one in this town that disliked Hilda Thomas, the hardworking daughter of the couple that ran Cozy Inn.

The day ended with the Opera group busy with the next day's preparations while Hilda and her family tried their best to help them.

The town circle was completely transformed to serve as the theatre where the play would be held.

A huge tent was pitched and a large temporary stage was built for the performance that would take place in the evening.

The people of Baskin were eager to help Mr. Asher's team to set up everything so that the play might begin on time.

The actors were well-versed in their scripts as they had been traveling through the land, showcasing the same play in every town and fief they reached.

This was due to the King's orders, to travel through the land and spread the word, the word that little Miss Yvonne St. Claire had suggested through her plans to improve the policies made by the previous King.

The plan that Yvonne had given to Marquess Samed to pass on to the King had been in progress for months now and it had finally reached the Lumex territory which was close to the Southernmost part of the Kingdom.

The efforts to improve the knowledge of their people by the means of this Opera group was something the young girl had suggested and was well accepted by the Council of Ministers and the King.

Once they had decided to implement her idea, work began at full pace.

In no time, the groups were selected and even the King sent his town criers with them to spread the word that this play had won the favor of their King who in turn wished to share its brilliance with his people.

This was how and why this certain group led by Mr. Asher had traveled through the land and had now arrived at the small town of Baskin to educate these people to improve their lives in this creative and unique way.
