Chapter 350 - Perfectly Fine
Yvonne's hand held the end of the sheets that concealed the cowering figure and tugged on it to see who was under it.
Her curiosity was now laced with a hint of cautious apprehension.
She knew that this was a dream but she could not help but feel this way.
Tugging the sheets harder, she saw something, something move.
The room was dark as the lightning and thunder had died down after she had held onto the sheets.
Therefore, she could not make out what or who she was seeing in this darkness.
Continuing to pull the sheets, she yanked it off of the person laying there, and thankfully, the bright strike of lightning hit the ground right at that moment.
The room was enlightened with a blinding light, forcing her to close her eyes at this abrupt transition.
When she felt the light dying down, she slowly opened her eyes as this was her chance to see who it was.
Her fluttering eyelids took a moment to adjust and finally opened her eyes.
"Oh Miss, you are sweating too much!" A worried exclaim echoed in her ears which made her frown.
The image which was forming before her eyes had distorted after these words were heard.
Yvonne blinked her eyes again in an attempt to clear up the image that had formed but sadly, nothing she could do to conjure it back as it had already vanished from before her eyes.
Blinking her wide amethyst eyes, the little girl looked around and found that she was back in her own room.
The unfamiliar bedroom, the large bed, the cowering figure, and the thunder rumbling in the midnight.
Everything that she had witnessed in her dream was now gone.
Evaporated as though they had never existed in the first place.
'Well, that was a dream and not reality anyway…' She corrected herself but felt a strange sense of loss in her heart.
Whatever image she was about to see in her dream, she felt that it had appeared for a reason and she needed to know more about it.
The maid who stood at the side was panicking when she noticed the listless face of her Young Miss who hadn't been responding to her all along.
It had been more than five minutes that Roselie had come over to this room and had been knocking on the door.
Yet, no matter how loud she knocked or how many times she did, the Miss who had been sleeping inside did not answer her.
Worried at this silence she was facing, Roselie decided to enter the room and take a look at what was the reason for this.
When she entered the room, she found that her Miss was bathed in sweat as her camisole dress clung to her damp skin.
This was when she had exclaimed that her Miss was sweating too much, resulting in the same words echoing in the girl's dream.
The sheets in the little girl's hands were clenched so tight that even the seventeen-year-old Roselie had a tough time pulling them away from her.
The moment she could muster up the strength to yank the sheets out of the girl's hand, the Miss's eyes fluttered open.
Hot tears of anxiety were flooding Roselie's eyes as she knelt before the little girl who was now laid on the bed as she stared at the ceiling without making any movement whatsoever.
"Miss, say something… Please!" Roselie begged as her heart was plummeting seeing the little girl look like a lifeless doll whose eyes blinked with a blank expression present on her face.
Yvonne had been pondering on the meaning of the strange dream she had seen when she heard these words.
Turning her head towards the young maid who was muffling her sobs with her palm, the little girl wondered what was wrong.
However, before she could utter anything she felt her throat dry and itchy.
"Water…" She whispered in a hoarse voice which resulted in the maid's eyes widening.
Roselie was quick in her actions as she poured a glass of water from the pitcher and handed it over to her Miss.
Yvonne accepted it as she sat up in bed.
'What is she crying for?' She wondered as she sipped the water which eased the discomfort in her throat.
"What's wrong, Roselie?" She inquired as she watched the maid wipe the panic-stricken tears which had streamed down her cheeks.
It took the young maid a few seconds before she could answer the query her Miss had made.
"Miss was not responding to anything I said… No matter how much I shook your shoulders, you remained still with your eyes closed." She narrated the scene she had witnessed upon entering the room.
This revelation shocked Yvonne as according to her, she was just taking a nap and had a strange dream.
However, the maid's account of the incident seemed to vary from what she had thought to be the truth.
Rubbing her forehead, she could not understand why this had happened but she had more urgent matters to deal with before she could get into the depth of this incident.
'I cannot have this reach my parents or they might get worried that there is something wrong with me.' She inferred as her over-protective parents might panic just as the maid had done earlier.
Therefore, she brought out her softest smile which she directed at the maid, and shook her head.
"I am perfectly fine and there is no need to worry now." She stated with confidence to prove that she was just fine and there was nothing wrong with her.
The skeptical face of the maid indicated that she needed to do a better job at this.
"The Piano practice drained my energy so I slept heavily today." She lied to convince her and hid her smirk when she saw the doubtful look simmer down.
Roselie nodded, though worried, and reminded her that she needed to meet the Young Master as it would be four in the evening soon enough.
"Let's get me dressed!" She announced, recovering her earlier vigor and vitality which calmed the maid's anxious heart.
'Maybe Miss was just too tired.' Roselie thought as she followed her Miss who had run into the bathroom to change into her training outfit.

While Yvonne was getting her hair done by the young maid, her elder brother too had gotten dressed and was already heading out in the direction of the training grounds where they had made an appointment earlier.
As he strolled through the corridors and walked ahead, he observed that a few things had changed in his house while he had been away.
'I haven't seen Paula all day.' He remembered the maid who was close to him from a young age.
This thought only lasted for a second as he decided to meet her after he was done with his match with his little sister.
Within a few minutes, he was standing at the training grounds as he looked around the still bright sky even when the sun was moving towards the horizon.
There was both excitement and curiosity in his mind as he waited for the girl to arrive.
