Cultivation Levels  

• Each Cultivation stage has nine levels.  
• Nine stages with nine levels creates the eighty one steps towards Immortality.  
• These 81 steps are recently established, recent from an Immortal’s perspective.  
• The story being that a nosy Buddhist cultivator rawdogged the cultivation path through enlightenment alone, thus forever altering the Dao of the Universe.

Gates  

1. World Gate  

• Connects worlds in the same realm.  
• The war between Xiàxuán Yù and Fánxuán Tiān uses this World Gate.

2. Realm Gate  

• Connects the realm to other realms.  
• Xiàxuán Yù and Fánxuán Tiān are different worlds in the same realm.  
• There is only one Realm Gate in one realm, hence the war for the possession of it.

Realms

‎Realms are divided into three grades:

‎1. Mortal Grade Realm  

‎ • Only allows cultivation up to the Golden Core Stage.  

‎ • It is possible to force ascension to Nascent Soul due to a weaker Heavenly Dao.

‎

‎2. Earth Grade Realm

‎ • Allows cultivation until the Void Amalgamation stage.

‎

‎3. Heaven Grade Realm

‎ • Allows cultivation until Tribulation Transcendence.

‎

‎• Elder Yinyue states that this system exists so older, more powerful cultivators do not compete with the younger generation.  

‎• The MC suspects there are additional reasons behind this arrangement.

Sects  

Currently Known Sects:  

• Tiānhé Zōng (天和宗) – “Celestial Harmony Sect” *(The sect where the MC currently resides)*  
• Tiānjiàn Sect (天劍宗) – “Heavenly Sword Sect”  
• Zǐxiāo Dao Palace (紫霄道宮) – “Purple Cloud Daoist Palace” (or “Imperial Cloud Dao Palace”)  
• Língshān Temple (靈山寺) – “Spiritual Mountain Temple”

Detailed Information: Tiānhé Zōng (天和宗) – “Celestial Harmony Sect”  

Etymology:  

• 天 (Tiān) – Heaven, celestial, sky  
• 和 (Hé) – Harmony, peace, union, balance  
• 宗 (Zōng) – Sect, clan, ancestral school, religion  

Five Peaks of Tiānhé Zōng:

1. Sword Peak – 乙太劍峰 (Yǐtài Jiàn Fēng) – “Ethereal Sword Peak”  

• 乙太 (Yǐtài) – Ether / Primordial essence  
• 劍 (Jiàn) – Sword  
• 峰 (Fēng) – Peak

2. Healer / Alchemy Peak – 生元峰 (Shēngyuán Fēng) – “Vital Essence Peak” (or “Origin of Life Peak”)  

• 生 (Shēng) – Life, birth, growth  
• 元 (Yuán) – Origin, primal essence, primordial Qi  
• 峰 (Fēng) – Peak

3. Forgemaster Peak – 仙燬峰 (Xiānhuǐ Fēng) – “Immortal Forge Peak” (lit. “Peak of Immortal Annihilating Flame”)  

• 仙 (Xiān) – Immortal  
• 燬 (Huǐ) – Fierce burning / Annihilating forge-flame  
• 峰 (Fēng) – Peak

4. All-Female Peak – 碧蓮峰 (Bìlián Fēng) – “Jade Lotus Peak”  

• 碧 (Bì) – Jade-green, azure, pure  
• 蓮 (Lián) – Lotus (symbol of purity)  
• 峰 (Fēng) – Peak

5. General Peak – 太衡峰 (Tàihéng Fēng) – “Grand Equilibrium Peak”  

• 太 (Tài) – Supreme, grand, ultimate  
• 衡 (Héng) – Balance, equilibrium, harmony  
• 峰 (Fēng) – Peak

Additional Information:  

• The sect features a massive central platform in the middle of the five peaks where most important Sect Halls reside.  
• As of now, the MC has only visited Shēngyuán Peak (where he lives) and Xiānhuǐ Peak (where he obtained his unnamed hammer).

Worlds  

1. Earth (?)  

• The earth the MC came from is different from normal earth.  
• The year is around the 2070s.  
• The Roman Empire still existed.  
• Spaceships existed as well as Dyson swarms forming three massive rings around the sun.

2. Xiàxuán Yù (夏玄域/下玄域)  

• Originally named 夏玄域, Summer Mystic Domain.  
• Renamed into 下玄域 after losing the war for the possession of Realm Gate against another world named Fánxuán Tiān.  
• The word for summer is replaced with the word that means lower, below, or inferior.  
• It was once ruled under Xia Dynasty which collapses after the civil war following the loss of the Realm Gate war.  
• The civil war erupts as Xia places the burden for fulfilling the war reparations on the east part of Xiàxuán Yù.  
• The effort to maintain strength in the western part of the world resulted in resentment and dissatisfaction that split Xiàxuán Yù in half.
