Chapter 209: Backlash

The room isn’t big, and there aren’t many places to hide people.

Jiang Yihuan rummaged through the wardrobe, looked at the places around where a person could hide, but found no one. She confirmed that the useless old bachelor wasn’t here.

"No, she might be shameless, but we are not! For her to carry on with a wild man here, if this spreads, our reputations will be tainted as well. We must seek justice from the Lord to judge if the two should be drowned for such behavior." A woman said.

"What a hassle." Huang Daniu let go of Jiang Yihuan, tidied his clothes, "I’ve lost interest."

The women soon took their leave. Su Yaoguang didn’t rush to leave, instead stayed to look at the now silent Jiang Yihuan: "You should be grateful I’m a kind person, unwilling to use such despicable means to take revenge on you. Jiang Yihuan, next time, I might not be so kind."

"You say kindness, yet you’ve ruined my reputation, is that what you call kindness?" Jiang Yihuan reluctantly glared at her.

"This was just a warning, to show you I have the means to make you suffer worse. Losing your reputation doesn’t mean the sky is falling; you’re plotting against my honor." Su Yaoguang sneered. "Jiang Yihuan, dare to provoke me again, and I’ll repay it in full with interest."
