Quickly, she downed a healing potion, making only a single drop of blood appear. It flowed through the wood before finally reaching the tiny egg, as it had awaited. The fresh red blood seeped into the eggshell, causing some reaction before it returned to normal. Ellie didn’t rush to take the egg out. She just let her spores monitor it, curious about what those who wanted to help Nara were up to!

However, after Ellie left, a tall, stoic-looking man appeared. His brows were still furrowed, just like before. Seeing the little girl’s blood seeping from her skin, he felt slightly displeased. Nevertheless, this was Ellie’s decision. Even though he wanted to crush that tiny egg for daring to drink Ellie’s blood, he let it survive.
