They Called Me Trash? Now I'll Hack Their World
Chapter 313: I’m Fcked!
The moment I hit the velvet cushions of the carriage seat, the heavy door slammed shut behind us.
Before I could even lean back, Cassandra was already over me.
She straddled my lap in one fluid motion, her knees pressing tightly against my outer thighs.
Her pale, ice-cold fingers shot up, firmly cupping my jaw and forcing my head back against the leather seat.
Her stormy grey eyes burned into mine with an intense, suffocating scrutiny that felt like a sharp blade against my throat.
“What did you say to her?” Cassandra demanded softly, her voice dropping into a dangerous, purring whisper.
“What did you whisper in her ear to make her trot back to her unit like a docile pet?”
I forced my heart rate to stay flat, keeping my expression completely unbothered.
“Nothing special,” I bullshitted smoothly, not blinking under her gaze. “I told her we were on official Vanguard duty, that contesting your command in front of the troops was a breach of military protocol, and that we’d have time to talk at the Capital war council.”
Cassandra stared at me for three long, seconds. A faint, knowing smirk curved her pale lips, completely unconvinced.
“So… you don’t want to tell me, huh?” she murmured.
Before I could even open my mouth to reiterate the lie, she tilted my head sharply to the right, completely exposing the left side of my neck, the unblemished side.
CHAMP!
Her teeth sank viciously into my flesh.
“Tch—!”
A sharp, fiery sting flared across my collarbone as her sharp fangs bit deep into my skin, breaking the capillaries just like she had done on the other side.
A sharp hiss escaped through my gritted teeth, and my hands flew up instinctively to grip her shoulders, preparing to shove her off with full force.
I’m not being your damn chew toy—
I froze.
Before I could throw her off, Cassandra loosened her jaw.
She didn’t pull away with cold arrogance; instead, she pressed a surprisingly soft, lingering kiss against the fresh, throbbing bite mark, her warm breath trailing slowly up along the line of my jawline toward my ear.
“I was terrified, Jin…” Cassandra whispered, her voice trembling slightly with a raw, unspoken vulnerability that made my chest tighten.
“When the reports came back… when the spatial tear closed and you were just gone… I thought I lost you forever.”
I paused, my fingers halting against her shoulders, my eyes narrowing in complete bewilderment.
The cold, unyielding Ice Queen of House Raith released my jaw. She slumped forward slightly, burying her face into the nook of my shoulder and wrapping her slender arms tightly around my neck, hugging me with a quiet, desperate intensity that seemed to drain all the hostility out of the air.
“I don’t care about the war,” Cassandra murmured softly against my skin. “I don’t care about the Capital. I’m just… happy you’re here.”
The sheer contrast between her brutal possessiveness and this raw, fragile confession left my mind spinning in circles.
What the hell did my System do to her memories? What kind of latent, twisted feelings were unlocked when the world’s code broke?
I let out a slow breath, my hands relaxing against her back, about to say something to break the heavy quiet—
Then, my body decided to betray me completely.
Sitting on my lap, her hips fully flush against mine, her subtle shifts in posture pressed her soft weight directly against my lap.
Between the lingering adrenaline of the battle, the scent of her skin, and her physical proximity, an involuntary, unbidden heat surged straight down to my waist.
A hard, unmistakable reaction stirred beneath my dark trousers, pressing firmly upward right against the underside of her thigh.
Oh, you have got to be kidding me, I thought in pure, horrified panic, instantly trying to pull my hips back.
It was too late.
Cassandra felt it instantly. Her body went completely still against mine.
Slowly, she raised her head from my shoulder.
Her stormy grey eyes locked onto mine, no longer vulnerable or soft, but burning with a dark, wicked, and intensely teasing glint.
A sharp, mocking smirk spread across her pale lips as she shifted her weight just a fraction of an inch, deliberately pressing down against the firm bulge in my lap.
“Ah…” Cassandra purred softly, her eyes twinkling with dark, dangerous amusement.
“What’s that, you pervert? On your own sister, really?”
“That’s what I should be saying! What the hell are you doing?!”
The retort shot out of my mouth in a hurried, defensive snap, but internally, my mind was screaming at absolute full capacity.
I shoved my hands firmly against her waist, desperately trying to push back and create distance, but trapped beneath her on the narrow carriage seat, I had zero room to retreat.
Why? Why the hell did my body react like that?!
It made no sense. I didn’t have feelings for her.
Yet, a chilling realization picked at the back of my mind. No matter how absurdly she acted, no matter how much she bit or threatened me, I had never felt the genuine, burning hatred toward her that I held for our father or brothers.
I had rationalized it as simple family tolerance, but this physical response was completely undeniable.
Then, without warning, a sharp, blinding spike of pain slammed into the back of my skull.
Fragments of the original Jin Raith’s life flooded my vision, sitting in the cold, shadowed corners of the Raith estate, watching a young Cassandra practice her frost arts in the courtyard.
The original Jin hiding behind marble pillars, staring at his brilliant, distant older sister with a quiet, hopeless, and deeply twisted adoration.
The boy hadn’t just looked up to her as an untouchable prodigy; he had harbored a dark, desperate, and completely forbidden devotion to her, a suppressed obsession he had taken to his grave.
The cold truth hit me like a physical blow, leaving me completely breathless.
My mind belonged to a transmigrator, but this physical vessel, its muscle memory, its hormonal pathways, its residual brain chemistry, belonged to him.
The System hadn’t just randomly glitched the world; it was channeling the original Jin’s latent, pathetic desires, amplifying the dynamic between us into a nightmare of my own making.
The blood drained from my face, leaving me as pale as the snow outside.
Cassandra watched the sudden shift in my expression, her stormy grey eyes glinting with a dark, triumphant satisfaction as she lightly shifted her weight against me once more.
I stared up at her, utterly horrified.
“I’m fucked,” I murmured under my breath.
