The Young Urban Doctor

Chapter 2476 2476: Meeting Wang Zhengqiang

The next day, when Luo Ziling arrived at school, Wang Feiyang immediately came to find him.

“Dad wants to see you.” Wang Feiyang explained directly, “He has time this noon. If you’re available, I’ll take you to meet him.”

When Luo Ziling returned yesterday, Wang Feiyang was not at the school.

She had something to attend to, and by the time she came back, Luo Ziling had already left.

She had called Luo Ziling, but upon hearing that he was going to help Ling Jinhua with treatment, she didn’t say anything further.

Last night, she also sent a message to Luo Ziling, but upon hearing that he was busy, she didn’t disturb him further.

Today, when Luo Ziling came by, she directly came to find him.

Wang Feiyang was quite sensible, especially now, much more than when she first clung to Luo Ziling, reducing his aversion towards her a bit. No matter the circumstances, she was someone who had shared physical intimacy with him a few times.

Even if the relationship was forced, that closeness still changed the distance between them.

Men can be more forgiving in this aspect than women.

For women, if you force them into such a situation, they’ll likely hate you to your core—it’s usually the case.

While love that grows over time can occur, it is rare.

Yet men’s attitudes towards such matters are often different; if a woman forces them, unless she’s very unattractive, most will forgive her.

In most people’s minds, when such relations occur, it’s seen as the man having the advantage and the woman at a loss.

Even though men expend more physical effort during such activities, it’s still thought of as men benefiting.

Even Luo Ziling thought this way; thus, after it happened, he didn’t dwell on it, and given Wang Feiyang’s subsequent behavior wasn’t bad, he didn’t plan to hold it against her.

After hearing Wang Feiyang’s explanation, Luo Ziling didn’t refuse, agreeing to meet Wang Zhengqiang.

As one of the seniors, Wang Zhengqiang’s status couldn’t be ignored.

Although Luo Ziling didn’t want rumors about him and Wang Feiyang, he was quite willing to have direct contact with Wang Zhengqiang.

Since Luo Ziling agreed to see Wang Zhengqiang, Wang Feiyang felt relieved.

She didn’t leave immediately, but stayed close to Luo Ziling claiming she needed to report on her work.

Luo Ziling wanted to understand the happenings during this period, so he didn’t reject hearing Wang Feiyang’s report.

Wang Feiyang was quite competent in handling things; she had managed everything meticulously.

This result surprised Dong Xiaowan and made her feel quite jealous.

Wang Feiyang’s capability directly threatened her position—something Dong Xiaowan couldn’t tolerate.

Thus, upon returning, Dong Xiaowan immediately took back the responsibilities she was in charge of.

Wang Feiyang didn’t hold it against Dong Xiaowan, promptly handing over the tasks.

When reporting, Wang Feiyang also mentioned this to Luo Ziling.

She didn’t criticize Dong Xiaowan for being petty, but instead said that after Dong Xiaowan’s return, her responsibilities were significantly reduced.

After reporting, Wang Feiyang inquired about Luo Ziling’s situation in the Northwest.

Due to previous occurrences, they had communicated through calls or messages, so Wang Feiyang was aware of the details.

Over the past month or so, Luo Ziling had lived comfortably without encountering danger, and Wang Feiyang didn’t frequently bother him.

But with Luo Ziling back, a courteous greeting was in order.

Indeed, Wang Feiyang excelled in such matters beyond the average person.

Setting aside biases, Luo Ziling’s evaluation of Wang Feiyang was quite positive.

Yet, he also knew Wang Feiyang had a strong desire for control, wanting everything under her grasp.

She enjoyed dominating others and making them follow her lead.

She was an even more forceful woman than Ouyang Feifei or Ling Ruonan; among the women Luo Ziling knew, none were as inherently assertive—something Luo Ziling didn’t particularly like.

After listening to Wang Feiyang’s report and dealing with a few tasks, it was almost lunchtime.

After having lunch with Luo Liansheng, Luo Ziling followed Wang Feiyang.

On the way, Wang Feiyang kept talking to Luo Ziling.

As they neared Wang Zhengqiang’s place, she made a request to Luo Ziling.

“Ziling, I helped you with things; you should help me secure a position,” she sincerely said to Luo Ziling, “Please mention it to my dad. If he agrees, then I can get an official appointment.”

“Why bother your dad with such minor issues?” Luo Ziling was a bit surprised.

“It’s not about getting my dad involved, but making sure he’s aware and agrees. If he doesn’t approve of my school appointment and I pursue it, he’ll reprimand me. If he chastises me, I definitely won’t get the position, and my efforts will be pointless,” Wang Feiyang explained frankly, “Also, bothering him with such matters is quite beneath him.”

“So, you helped me to get a school position?” Luo Ziling found pride in this.

“Indeed, I have such thoughts, but it’s not the main reason,” Wang Feiyang replied earnestly, “I’ve already told you the primary reason.”

“Alright!” Luo Ziling didn’t ask further, agreeing to Wang Feiyang’s request.

“This semester, I plan to pursue a position in the school’s Youth League Committee; I won’t compete with Yuqing for the Student Council President,” Wang Feiyang shared another idea with Luo Ziling, “The Youth League’s position carries substantial weight too.”

“That’s good, wishing you success!”

“Annoying!” Wang Feiyang playfully kicked Luo Ziling, “You and Principal Li Jinhui are familiar; could you mention this matter to him? I don’t want to rely on my dad’s influence for things.”

“So you’re perfectly fine with using my influence for things?”

Wang Feiyang paused for a moment, then laughed, “Yes, I’m perfectly fine, asking you for anything and feeling justified!”

With that, she leaned close to Luo Ziling’s ear and whispered, “Because you’re my man.”

Luo Ziling ignored Wang Feiyang and turned his head away.

Wang Feiyang didn’t mind.

The car soon stopped, and after getting out, Luo Ziling followed Wang Feiyang into Wang Zhengqiang’s office.

Wang Zhengqiang was resting with his eyes closed, having just finished dealing with a pile of matters, intending to relax post-lunch.

Seeing Luo Ziling and Wang Feiyang enter, he immediately gestured for them to sit.

“First, let me tell you something!” Wang Zheng said with a smile to Luo Ziling, “The military department has approved a collaboration between the logistics health department and your group. I think this cooperation will be mutually beneficial. Plus, Dragon Rise’s pharmaceutical supplies won’t be included in the military health department’s procurement, but will be handled separately.”

Upon meeting, Wang Zheng acknowledged this matter to him, leaving Luo Ziling momentarily stunned.

He understood that Wang Zheng mentioning this definitely had a purpose.
