She rushed out of the cafe.

As she was about to hail a car at the roadside, a Maybach sports car slowly glided past her.

Xiaonuan instinctively dodged, about to turn around.

Then she heard the car horn honk twice, "Beep—beep—."

Xiaonuan frowned and looked towards the car.

Seeing the familiar, stunningly handsome face of the man inside, her expression froze.

Nangong Yaoling opened the passenger side door.

"Get in!" he said coldly.

Xiaonuan’s expression remained stiff, she took two steps forward.

"You... why are you here?"

"Shouldn’t I be asking you that?" Nangong Yaoling glanced sideways at Xia Xiaonuan.

With a somewhat teasing expression, his true thoughts were untraceable, which only made Xia Xiaonuan more anxious.

She would rather he lose his temper or say something to give her a clue.
