With each reincarnation Victor hated the gods more and more, each time he died and was reborn again he cursed the gods over and over again for their injustice. He just didn’t understand what he had done to them to deserve such punishment.
After the tenth reincarnation, he stopped crying, accepting his unhappy fate; now he realized that he really began to fear death, for each reincarnation was getting worse.
After the fiftieth, he seemed to have outgrown all kinds of monsters, but he was wrong because it went on. The hundredth reincarnation was the cruelest in his opinion, he was given a slime body and for two years he searched for ways to kill himself and only after many years he died with a smile on his face, preparing for new heights.
333 Reincarnation was like a gift because he received the body of a half elf, Victor already thought it was the end of his torment. But he was wrong again, he was not able to keep his life, on the first day he was killed by his own brother.
After that the cycle started all over again and Victor got back into the body of an orc…
And now came the thousandth reincarnation.
“Human… human… human… human…” Like a madman, Victor muttered, it didn’t matter to him what he would be-poor, ugly, without talent, it didn’t matter as long as he was a human.
If the gods have taught Victor anything it was how precious his previous life was, if he could go back, he would have stayed poor but happy that he didn’t have to suffer so much.

[You have gone through the cycle of reincarnation. You have gone through reincarnation a thousand times. You have received a bonus: your wish for a human body is granted]
“Human…” Victor swallowed hard; he was in a state of disbelief, for in the course of a thousand times he had gotten a human body only once, and the last time he immediately killed himself after that.
He still couldn’t believe that luck smiled to him once again, he always thought it had gone a mile around him, but now it was different.
Victor squeezed his eyes shut tightly and muttered to himself a few times:
“If this is a joke…” He couldn’t even imagine how he would react to such a situation; after a few dozen breaths, Victor gathered his courage to prepare himself mentally for failure and opened his eyes wide.
“The room…” He was not reincarnated in a cave, underground, or in a pile of corpses. It was an ordinary room similar to the style of the Middle Ages, the design and interior of the room could rival an example from the history books he read in his second life while at university.
The room was small, but Victor felt quite comfortable; there was a small bed, a table and a chair. On top of the table lay a small polished disk with a reflective surface most likely used as a mirror. Basically quite a simple room, everything as usual given that there was not a single item that looked modern.
But it didn’t bother Victor at all, it didn’t matter where or who he was, the most important thing was that Victor was human once again.
After glancing around the room, Victor decided to take a look at his body; he had already figured out with a quick glance that he had not one or five eyes, but only two eyes, as befits a human being.
“To hell with it…” Victor did not procrastinate any longer and opened his eyes wide to look at the reflection of his body in the mirror.
Long white hair tied in a ponytail, bright violet eyes, by which you could tell that the man hasn’t been through any suffering yet. The facial features were quite pleasant, you could not say that he was very handsome, but still he could be distinguished from the crowd.
He was tall, much taller than in his previous two lives as a human, a muscular body that only athletes who had practiced martial arts or sports since early childhood could have. Victor’s whole appearance could be considered as handsome, his current appearance could not be compared to all his previous incarnations, if he could get into the modern world he could easily become an actor or some kind of show business star.
But Victor had little interest in whether he was handsome or not, so all he was thinking right now was this:
“One head… two arms… two legs… I am… human…”
Victor wrapped his hands around his head and pinched himself several times to see if he wasn’t dreaming. He couldn’t believe that he was really human, not in a dream or illusion, but in reality.
In a thousand reincarnations, Victor had already dreamed many times of becoming human again, but it was a dream he wished would be made into a reality.
Pop!
Falling to his knees, Victor laughed madly, he looked like a man who had lost everything, but found hope again.
“There’s no way I’m going to die. No matter what I have to do!” Victor decided.
He didn’t want what happened to him in the half elf’s body when his own brother had stabbed him in the back to repeat itself. That body belonged to no one else but him now, he was its sole owner, so Victor needed to keep it, no matter the price.
Only after a very long time had passed has Victor recovered from the shock and tried to recall who the previous owner of the body was and where he was currently located.
In each reincarnation he received the memory of the original body owners, in the body of the ogre he remembered how he was born, grew up, and how he died. Even in the body of the slime he got some memories, though they were more like scraps of memories.
But now that he once again possessed a human body, he wanted to know everything regarding its past. Sitting down on the bed, Victory immersed into his memories in order to recall the most important details of his new identity.

“Child, your name is Victor!”
“Mom, where did Dad disappear to?”
“Fucking hypocrites, the day will come when I will avenge my parents’ death!”
“Welcome to the Heavenly Sword Sect!”
“As of today, you are a disciple of a cult!”
“Zhao Yan, how is he any better than me!”
“Gods! I am willing to trade my life for a successful revenge!”
***********
Countless fragments of memories like bits and pieces slowly surfaced in Victor’s mind, it was like watching a historical movie, where the main character loses everything, endures bullying, and then thanks to the iron will forged through those events goes forward to meet death.
But this movie ended rather quickly, as the hero was unable to endure and his will and tenacity shattered greatly, turning him into a timid unremarkable boy, and in the end he decided to take drastic measures.
Believing in the gods, he asked to trade his life for revenge, and it was as if the gods had listened to his prayers and sent Victor down.
“Again… these… GODS!” With eyes flushed with rage Victor muttered, for him the word “God” was like a taboo.
Sighing slightly, Victor finished all the memories and grinned slightly, looking at his reflection in the mirror.
“Your life was crap… But compared to mine, you lived and died happily!”
