Seeing the mountain they aspired to climb grow higher and more unreachable, they didn’t feel any discouragement but greater motivation.

Meanwhile, as his family laughed around him, Zar slowly flew forward.

“Maximus.”

“What, do you want to fight?”

“N-no, no. I’m still weak from the battle.” Zar hurriedly shook his head, not wanting to face Maximus.

Though he was a battle maniac, he still knew the difference between the strong and the weak.

If the gap weren’t so vast, he could still fight.

But facing Maximus, whose presence silenced even his voice, there wouldn’t be a battle at all.

“Then what is it?” Maximus smiled, not pressing Zar further.

“What do you plan to do now?” Zar asked, voicing the question on his mind and that of the powerhouses around them.

Now that Maximus had become the Plane Master, wielding such immense power that could wipe out the dark beasts, they wanted to know what came next.

Would the Aeon Plane undergo a massive change? Should they conquer another realm? Or return to training?

Eager for his command, they all perked up, listening intently.

“No need to do anything. Just rest…” Maximus said with a smile.

Having fought a desperate battle for nearly a hundred thousand years was enough.

Having defended the Aeon Plane with all their strength, Maximus only wanted the heroes to rest and recover.

“But…”

“Don’t worry, this isn’t the end. I just want you to take a break for a greater challenge,” Maximus said solemnly.

It might seem like everything was over, but it wasn’t.

The Aeon Plane sat on the outer periphery of the Chaos Region.

Because the flood of dark disaster swept through the middle of the Planar Chaos Region, they were safe for now.

However, Maximus estimated that in just hundreds of millions of years, the outer periphery would be overwhelmed by dark beasts.

Facing such an unstoppable tide, even if he used all the chaos energy around him, it would be futile.

At this stage, his only choice was to head to the Central Chaos Region to aid the Archon defend against the dark disaster.
