Chapter 1627: Chapter 656: Transcendent Reward
"Damn it, I’m never drinking that much again..."
Zhou Wang was woken up by the slightly harsh light shining on his face.
Even though there was no sunshine on a winter morning, the unique location of room 1722 at the end of the corridor allowed it to receive far more light than other standard rooms, especially the master bedroom, with its two huge surrounding floor-to-ceiling windows.
From here, you can overlook the most dazzling nightscape of Seoul. Since there are no buildings of similar height nearby that could peer into this room, these two unique massive floor-to-ceiling windows are seen by many thrill-seeking couples as no less than a "sanctuary"...
How thrilling, you ask?
Zhou Wang might tell you that you can find similar scenes in many low-budget classic films, such as some that start with IPX... cough, cough.
A detail that Zhou Wang himself didn’t know was that when Han Suying booked the hotel room, she was unaware of this room’s uniqueness; it was purely due to the hotel’s customer service recommendation that she chose the heavily booked room 1722...
Zhou Wang hadn’t drawn the curtains before sleeping last night, and he now felt the room’s intense light stimulation, compelling him to open his eyes a little, even though his biological clock hadn’t yet awakened him.
"What a lousy design?"
Squinting at the light pouring through the floor-to-ceiling windows, Zhou Wang, his head slightly groggy from a hangover, first complained but then recalled the marvelous experience of holding Jennie, who could barely stand, from behind as they admired Seoul’s nightscape sometime in the early morning.
Zhou Wang suddenly fell silent.
His words seemed a little like "burning the bridge after crossing it."
Replicating a movie scene in real life for the first time, Zhou Wang admitted it was quite exhausting to stand like that but had to acknowledge the significant mental satisfaction he derived from the experience.
However, on reflection, most of this satisfaction came from Jennie’s tearful plea, "no more, no more, I dare not," rather than the nightscape outside the window.
As fragmented thoughts swirled in Zhou Wang’s head for a while, he gradually regained his clarity.
The first sensation was of his slightly numb half of the body and a warm body pressed against it.
The room heater was turned up high, so the two were covered only by a thin blanket. With her tousled hair, Jin Jennie lay curled up in Zhou Wang’s arms; from Zhou Wang’s angle, he couldn’t see her eyes, only a small part of her fair nose and her distinctively shaped M lips.
Further down, beneath her draped hair, were her straight, slender shoulder blades, and at the blanket’s edge, a barely revealed smooth groove.
On her exposed smooth skin, faintly visible were some strange, smudged marks, some blue-red, others thick and white like rice porridge, with the colors creating an indescribable sensuality.
Seeing these marks like an oil painting, as an artist holding the brush, Zhou Wang felt a little embarrassed.
He vaguely remembered Jennie asking him to carry her to take a bath, but after drinking, Zhou Wang, drained of energy, had fallen asleep instead, and as for Jennie taking a bath by herself...
She didn’t even have the strength to take off the torn remnants of her stockings, let alone complete the epic task of bathing.
After lying quietly for a few more minutes and fully recalling last night’s events, Zhou Wang intended to gently push Jin Jennie aside, get out of bed, and find some water to drink. But as soon as he moved a little, Jin Jennie in his arms, as if stimulated, shivered and clung more tightly to him.
"Don’t, don’t go... don’t leave me."
Zhou Wang was taken aback, looked down, and confirmed Jennie was still asleep. She might have had a nightmare causing her to murmur this soft and weak plea.
This surprised Zhou Wang; he didn’t expect that Jennie, who always maintained a proud demeanor in front of him, would show such a pitiful side.
But maybe Zhou Wang’s adjustments throughout the night indeed awakened a different side of her...
Ultimately, Zhou Wang, unbearably thirsty, gently moved her hands and feet wrapped around him and then exited the master bedroom, instantly downing two bottles of mineral water before lighting a Fishing Platform cigarette, taking a deep drag, finally feeling alive.
Leaning on the sofa, Zhou Wang then took out his phone to check, dealing with last night’s numerous unread messages. The most troublesome were several recently added contacts, whom he couldn’t quite match with names, as many were celebrities from the Korean entertainment circle... mostly female.
But thinking it over, Zhou Wang decided not to dwell on it, as he could always respond with the same content to any female celebrity—perhaps sending the hotel address and room number and waiting there.
Reflecting on some oddly humorous images, Zhou Wang looked at the missed call list and found three from Jin Zhixiu...
Jeon So-mi, on the other hand, was more sensible, as after making one call and finding no answer from Zhou Wang, she didn’t disturb further, only sent a hinting message, "home alone."
As for how to explain things to Jin Zhixiu, Zhou Wang wasn’t too concerned, since he supposedly "got drunk and was taken away by Charles" under everyone’s gaze. Jin Zhixiu would hardly associate the missing "dog man" with vigorously adjusting her best friend...
