Adrian swiped away all of the system screens with his thoughts and finally broke the hug with Aria before he looked straight into her eyes.

"Now that we have had our talks, I have this massive urge to beat up that demon right now."

Aria wiped her eyes and nodded fiercely. "Me too."

"Well, that is the thing," Adrian sighed. "I know we both want to beat him up, but I don’t really know exactly what he is capable of. I fought an Apostle before, yes, but this guy did mention that Demons have a completely different method of doing stuff in this world."

Adrian stood up and paced around in the small mud hut.

"Considering the fact that Angels send out Apostles and don’t exactly come over here themselves, this Demon is either a sort of direct reincarnation where a demon’s soul is naturally born in this world with a brand new body, or they simply take over someone else’s body like a possession. I do not see any other logical option here, since it definitely felt like I was talking to a real, conscious Demon. If not, he probably wouldn’t have known all of these things about us. The Angels seemed to have known about me being from a different world, and the Dragons seem to know too. So there is no reason for a high-ranking Demon to not know."

Aria stood up and dusted off her knees.

"I have never actually met a Demon, not even in my past life. In fact, I never even encountered any Angels or Apostles either."

She frowned a little, looking up at him.

"To what extent did you scare them that they literally sent out an Apostle to assassinate you?"

"Well, based on what that idiot Apostle told me, I have drastically changed the lives of a lot of people," Adrian explained. "Their fates, to be specific. And doing all of that gathered me a massive amount of good karma. Karma in the world of those Angels and Demons is a valuable currency of some sort. At least that is what I am assuming based on context clues. The Dragon did tell me that I am going to finally get my answers here."

Aria nodded. "Maybe we should just talk to that Demon and get the answers to your questions."

Adrian nodded. "Yeah, let’s do that."

He paused, his expression turning serious.

"But before we go out there, I guess we also need to talk about how you are going to go forward from now on."

"I want everything to be exactly the same," Aria said immediately. "Except for the fact that you are way too overprotective."

Her face went a little red. "It is not like I don’t secretly like it, but-"

Before she could even finish her sentence, Adrian spoke up.

"Well, sure, you can have your freedom. But you still need to listen to me in the field. If I tell you to run from a fight, you gotta run. If you don’t, I honestly do not know what I will do. At this point, I am just completely lost on how to handle you."

He let out a wry smile.

"Actually... do you mind teaching me magic? As you know, the amount of spells I actually know is pretty pathetic compared to other mages that are currently on the exact same level as me."

Aria chuckled. "That is true. But even with those few basic spells, you use them in such insane, creative ways that even I was left completely shocked. Not just once, but multiple times."

She smiled confidently. "Of course I can teach you! In fact, I will make you even better than me."

Adrian raised an eyebrow. "Make me better than you? Come on, you have mythical SSS-rank mana veins."

"You started out with pathetic F-rank ones, and now..." Aria said.

She didn’t even have to finish the sentence for Adrian to understand what she meant.

"So you obviously knew about my upgrades," Adrian muttered. "I mean, yeah, I guess I can get better, but it will definitely take me quite some time to reach your level mana veins."

Aria nodded. "It is not a big deal. We have a lot of time on our hands."

"You can finally do your night training too," Adrian said. "If you need anything, even a training method that you do not have right now but you think can be possible, talk to me about it and I will see if I can use my Dungeon to bring you something."

Aria nodded. "Okay."

She tapped her chin. "I have a massive amount of spells that I created myself in my past life, but they aren’t recorded anywhere. The first book that I gave you two years ago had some of the basic spells that I made, but definitely not all of them. If you want, I can write you a few more books."

"That would be appreciated," Adrian smiled.

"But this specific book is strictly only for you," Aria warned.

Adrian chuckled. "Okay, sure."

Aria looked up at him and hesitated for a second.

"Papa?"

"Yeah?"

"You are already treating me like a full adult."

Adrian chuckled as he rubbed the back of his neck. "I mean, come on. It is hard to actually treat you exactly as a clueless child after suddenly knowing everything. But like I said, you are still my daughter. And while I am giving you more freedom, that is only because I know that you have an adult’s mind. But I also know that you still crave to be a child. So I am not going to tell anyone about this."

Aria shook her head. "No. I think we should tell Claire and Serena. I think they deserve to know... They are our family, after all."
