Su An’an woke up in a soft fox fur blanket, with nine dark red fox tails still draped over her waist.

Fei Zhao was hugging her from behind, his chin resting in the crook of her shoulder, his breath warm.

"You’re awake?"

His voice was laced with morning languor, his fingers gently stroking her waist. "Sleep well?"

Su An’an turned her head, meeting his smiling fox eyes, the corners of which were still flushed with satisfaction.

She reached out and gave his fluffy ear tip a little squeeze. "What do you think?"

"A certain someone was quite the troublemaker last night."

Fei Zhao let out a low chuckle, his tails wrapping around her wrist and drawing her closer.

His fingertips slid down her spine, stopping suggestively at the small of her back.

The door suddenly burst open.

A roly-poly pink robot rolled in, the antenna on its head flashing as it beeped.

Fei Zhao’s nine tails bristled instantly. He pressed Su An’an into his chest and glared discontentedly at the little robot.

"Little Pink! I told you not to disturb us today!"
