Yang Dao played music for Dao Yin as the girl sat crossed legs to regain her memory. The song was filled with a lot of emotions, to resonate with the real Dao Yin that was buried under the dust of time, Yang Dao needed to deepen the connection he had with her. As his fingers floated on the strings, it produced a good sound and the connection became deeper.

Dao Yin shivered and then opened her eyes as soon as the song ended, The music was not only leading Yang Dao to enter deeper into her thoughts but also herself. Dao Yin had a spark in her eyes like she had outside the wheel of time. She said, “Yang, what took you so long?”

Yang Dao smiled and shrugged, “I don’t know, my network was not strong so the buffering kept me outside.”

Dao Yin chuckled and then asked, “What do you think we should do to get out of this world?”

The boy put away his guqin and said, “This world is built on the rules of time. The flow of time cannot be stopped, it cannot be controlled or diverted. To get out of this place, we need to get ahead of time, how can one get ahead of time, when it is so balanced?”

Dao Yin smiled and said, “By unbalancing it?”

Yang Dao chuckled and asked, “Did you ever think we will have to break the equilibrium of things?”

Dao Yin shook her head and then she stood up. Yang Dao stood up and they hugged each other. The young man whispered in her ears, “I missed you.”

Dao Yin also hugged him tight and replied, “I did too.”

The two enjoyed some warmth and then Yang Dao said, “Let there be chaos.”

The two began to connect to the elements inside the world and they began to disturb the balance of things. The idea was simple since they were trapped in this world with the balance of time and space, then they will be destroying this world to find the leaks and get out of the trap.

‘Sometimes the solutions to very complicated problems are very simple. It lies in front of your eyes but because of the mess around you it becomes difficult to look at it.’

Yang Dao and Dao Yin began to control the elements of this world first, and then they began to control the laws. When the connection with everything was established and they felt that it was strong enough, they began to mess around with them.

The two of them together could change the shape of elements as the people knew them. All of a sudden, the water in the world solidified, it did not freeze but became solid, and the land became liquid as if water. The people inside the world dissolved altogether.

Yang Dao and Dao Yin were floating in the void, and they could sense a strong resistance from the elements of the world. They controlled things with even more finesse, the wind replaced the fire and vice versa.

The impact of these changes was the defensive action of the laws, if the disturbance in the elements was a bit too much, then the laws will react and discard the source of this disturbance, as in ejecting them from the system.

It was like antibodies, the laws of dao that protected the balance will flush out the sickness, the source of unbalance outside the world. That was what happened, the space became distorted and Yang Dao sensed his body being squeezed, he took hold of Dao Yin, who was going through the same experience.

They did not wait for three hundred lives, they did not have that much time. If you could not attain freedom in the first life, then how will you get it in the next life? The squeezing was handled by the laws of space and time.

Space and Time acted in unison. Without the cage or tunnel of the space, the river of time would not be able to maintain the flow. If the tunnel was blocked by something, then the river will push that thing with a force to recorrect the flow.

This was the way you get ahead of time. The river of time acted and it flushed the two outside.

The void envoy was standing between the portals weaved together by elemental source energy and kept in place with the power of laws, facing the four familiar spirits. It said in the same indifferent voice, “They must have finished the first turn by now. What do you think are the chances they have to make it out of the trap of time?”

Feng Yun did not reply, her focus was on maintaining the flow of laws through the thread of source energy to keep this guy in the same position. The others were the same as well, they did not answer and the void envoy said, “Your silence is an epitome of your doubts in the dao couple.”

The taunting continued and a few hours passed by, just as the wheel suspended over the head of the void envoy was about to finish its first rotation, it stopped. Everyone sensed strong shockwaves coming from the wheel as it tried to move forward.

The four familiars were shocked, but they regained their composure quickly and as the time passed the shockwaves became stronger, the void envoy wanted to react when he sensed something and raised its head.

In the space above, Feng Yun, Laohu Bai, Atsuji Kurogame, and Ryu Jinshi, appeared as two figures. They were none other than Yang Dao and Dao Yin, however, they did not look like the young adults but were more mature, they both seemed to be twenty-five or so years old.

The maturity on their faces was the proof that they had been in touch with the river of time, that they learned the laws of great dao. The four familiars cast their gaze on the two people and immediately felt like kneeling. The resolution of Dao was so strong in their eyes that the four were trembling on the inside.

Yang Dao said, “We will first finish dealing with this guy.”

That said, he waved his hand and took control of the four laws, while Dao Yin stood by his side and waved her hand to take control of the four source energies. The void envoy asked, “How?”

Dao Yin replied, “Figure it out the next time you get to meddle with time.”

They did not wish to waste time on this thing. The laws began to restrict the void envoy even more and the net of portals and source energy tightened around the void envoy. Eventually, the puppet was tightly wrapped in the laws and the source energy.

Yang Dao said, “Good bye.”

As soon as the words dropped, the void envoy exploded, but the portals absorbed him back to the void, the source energy thread led the portals to absorb each other, and the laws of Dao then closed the last portal to the void.

The dao couple landed in front of the four people with smiles on their faces. Yang Dao said, “You all have worked hard.”

Laohu Bai walked over and measured his height with hers, she said with a sigh, “He grew taller than me. It is so depressing.”

Yang Dao chuckled and hugged her. He said, “You can still twist my ear when you feel it is necessary, Baibai.”

Laohu Bai patted his back and said, “Count it as you still have a conscience.”

Then she greeted Dao Yin similarly. The latter has become very calm when dealing with people. Feng Yun also came over but she did not say anything. Yang Dao smiled and said, “Sister Yun, you owe me a meal. Remember?”

Feng Yun chuckled beautifully and said, “Whenever you want.”

The balance of the world was restored. The people returned to the Dao Palace.

Yang Dao and Dao Yin stood in front of the palace looking at it with nostalgia in their eyes. They said, “Welcome home.”

The doors of the palace were pushed open and the two were greeted by four pretty faces, led by Zen, ahead of whom stood Dao Jiewei.

The little girl rushed over to Yang Dao, who picked her up in his arms smoothly and asked, “Did you miss baba, my love.”

Dao Jeiwei hugged him and said, “Yes. Did you miss me too, Baba?”

Yang Dao replied, “Yes, a lot.”

Dao Yin said, “You two people, do I need to find another child to have some love?”

Dao Jeiwei smiled and said, “Baba, look, mum is jealous again.”

Then she jumped from his arms to hold the neck of the beautiful lady in front of her like a koala. Dao Yin smacked the little one gently on her buttocks and said, “You are making fun of mum, see how I clear you up.”

That said, the people entered the Dao Palace and the doors were closed behind them.
