The various supplies previously transported back to the Graveyard Demon were processed with exceptional speed.

The Undead Team members were swift and efficient, with a clear division of labor, methodically sorting and allocating every item.

The corpses of the Scale Armor Monsters were given top priority on the allocation list, immediately used to fill the vacancies left by fallen Walking Dead Warriors.

As for the remaining Scale Armor Monster corpses, Gu Su ordered that they all be preserved.

In his view, these corpses, possessing both a robust Constitution and scaly Defense, were best suited for creating Walking Dead Warriors. To use them to replenish other ordinary Undead would be a great waste.

He decided to store these corpses for now. Their greatest value would be realized when used to replenish the Walking Dead’s forces during the next enemy attack, once his own ranks had been thinned.

But just as the supplies were being properly handled, the Graveyard Demon once again did something that took Gu Su completely by surprise.

He watched as a shopping cart, hidden in a dark corner inside the Graveyard Demon and filled to the brim with fluffy, snow-white Corroding Mycelium, was suddenly blasted out by an invisible jet of Undead Energy. Like an arrow loosed from its bow, it shot off with a faint whistle, hurtling directly toward the crashed golden warship. Its speed was astonishing, and in an instant, it vanished into the battlefield’s smoke and dust.

Seeing this, Gu Su’s pupils contracted slightly as he instantly understood.

’I only knew the Corroding Mycelium could assimilate ordinary buildings and nourish the Graveyard Demon’s land,’ he thought, ’but I never imagined its consumption could extend to a mechanical creation of this scale. Then again, that warship was a biological-mechanical hybrid. Maybe its core retained some living traits. Now that it’s ’dead,’ and it’s technically a structure, I suppose the Corroding Mycelium can consume it.’

This discovery delighted him. He immediately seized the opportunity and gave a low command to Bone Ash, who was standing by: "Bone Ash, take your men over there personally. Bring five truckloads of Corroding Mycelium with you. I want you to secure that warship for me!"

Upon hearing the order, Bone Ash didn’t hesitate for a second. He bowed to accept the command, then turned and led his squad back onto the battlefield.

They moved remarkably fast. Upon reaching their destination, the squad members wasted no time. They swiftly unlatched the truck beds and dumped all the Corroding Mycelium onto the warship’s wreckage, leaving no corner uncovered for the mycelium to spread.

A bizarre scene instantly unfolded.

The moment the snow-white Corroding Mycelium touched the warship’s cold Metal hull and sharp golden scales, it began to spread and climb with frenzied life. Slender hyphae wormed their way into the warship’s cracks, cannon barrels, and shattered bulkheads.

Emitting a faint SIZZLE, in just a few moments it had completely enveloped the entire warship, which was over thirty meters long. Layers upon layers of thick, fluffy mycelium piled up, transforming the originally mangled, smoking warship into a massive white fungal mountain. From a distance, it was particularly striking under the glow of the violet sky.

The very moment the Corroding Mycelium completely covered the warship, a clear system prompt sounded in Gu Su’s ear back at the Graveyard Demon’s command center.

[Ding! Consumable Target Detected: Skypiercer-Propulsor Type 6 Starship (Affiliation: Burning Gold Clan). The Graveyard Demon can consume this target. Do you wish to proceed with consumption?]

The sudden system prompt clearly made Gu Su freeze for a moment. A flash of astonishment crossed his face, and his hand stopped mid-air.

Gu Su’s hesitation was brief, however. He then responded decisively, "Consume!"

The words had barely left his mouth when the system prompt sounded again, clearly listing three conversion options post-consumption:

[Please select a conversion path:

1. Obtain Orbital Cannon (Level 1): Install an Orbital Cannon outside the Graveyard Magic Wall. It can move automatically around the wall and supports Green or lower quality Artillery or heavy weapons, enhancing peripheral Defense.

2. Obtain Deployment Pod (Level 1): Establish a dedicated Deployment Pod for storing various vehicles. It also provides energy replenishment and simple repair functions, improving vehicle Endurance and availability.

3. Obtain Healing Pod (Level 1): Establish a Healing Pod where severely injured subordinates can be sent for targeted treatment, accelerating their recovery speed.]

Gu Su quickly scanned the three options and, with almost no hesitation, completely ruled out the Healing Pod.

The Traits of his Undead Team were unique.

They either suffered fatal injuries on the battlefield and were instantly defeated—in which case he just needed to toss a corpse into a Gravepile to quickly replenish them with a new Undead...

...or they only sustained minor injuries and could recover on their own by resting for a period in their respective Gravepiles or Tombstones.

Even if they didn’t have a Gravepile or Tombstone to return to, they could still slowly recover Life energy just by standing on the Corroding Mycelium.

Therefore, the Healing Pod was essentially useless to him. With the lowest practical value, it naturally wasn’t worth choosing.

After eliminating the Healing Pod, Gu Su was left with a choice between the Orbital Cannon and the Deployment Pod.

He pondered for a moment, carefully weighing the pros and cons of each.

’The Orbital Cannon can improve my defenses, but it’s not what I need most right now.’

’Most of the artillery I’m currently using is still just White Quality. Even if I add a mobile Orbital Cannon, it won’t bring about a qualitative leap in defense. It would just be a waste of this consumption opportunity.’

’Most importantly, I don’t have any gunners.’

’My current cannons are only functional in the barest sense of the word, so what difference would another mobile cannon make?’

’It wouldn’t be very effective either.’

’The Deployment Pod, on the other hand, has tangible uses for me and is a facility I desperately need right now.’

’My Five Ghosts Team is fully equipped with their own dedicated vehicles. Previously, with no suitable storage space, I had to bury all these vehicles under the soil of the Main Cemetery Area. While it didn’t really hinder their use, it took up a massive amount of valuable space.’

’There’s no room left for new graves in the Main Cemetery Area now.’

’Now, with a Deployment Pod, I can not only store the Five Ghosts’ vehicles but also replenish their energy and perform simple repairs. It saves space in the Main Cemetery Area and increases the vehicles’ efficiency. It’s practically tailor-made for me.’

Having thought through the pros and cons, Gu Su no longer hesitated. In a firm tone, he spoke to the system, "I choose the Deployment Pod!"

Following Gu Su’s command, the covered starship melted away like snow in the sun.

Afterward, nothing remained at the crash site, as if the starship had never fallen there in the first place.

And at that moment, Gu Su’s Graveyard Demon began to change once more.
