Sheyan put more force on the throttle with an uneasy heart. Unfortunately, the throttle that had already been pushed to the limit could not give him any further response. Instead, the solid steel around the throttle groaned in protest.

For the first time in a while, Sheyan felt powerless and could only wait for fate to pass down its judgement.

He hated this feeling. He could only hope that the Queen of Blades would not decide to pursue him in view of her serious injuries.

Sheyan was sure that if Kerrigan insisted on competing in speed against the Vulture, which was equipped with plasma engines, despite being badly wounded, her injuries would inevitably aggravate regardless of the result.

But Sheyan once again miscalculated. The Queen of Blades actually had a lot of other methods at her disposal if she wanted to pursue Sheyan, such as riding on an Overlord, riding on a Mutalisk, or ordering a dozen Zerglings to pull a sleigh…. To chase after the Vulture with her own body, like Sheyan assumed she would do, was simply the stupidest method.

Of course, Sheyan’s miscalculation was, in part, due to his ignorance of Kerrigan’s past experiences. As a former Ghost commander, of course she was proficient in piloting all kinds of vehicles.

She chose a way that Sheyan never would have unexpected: she killed the driver of another Vulture and jumped onto it herself! She instantly put on a pair of windproof goggles and started the engine!

The vehicle chosen by the Queen of Blades and Sheyan’s vehicle were both manufactured by the same Factory, so they were similar in terms of performance.

Kerrigan had received 16 years of brutal training as a Ghost. Not only could she drive a Vulture, she could even repair it. On the other hand, Sheyan only had 10 minutes of experience in driving a Vulture.

In terms of driving skills, Sheyan lost completely.

The Queen of Blades was lighter than Sheyan in weight. She also had some special abilities like the ability to reduce the effect of gravity to make the Vulture lighter. Even the wings on her back could help propulse the Vulture a little….

In terms of support skills, Sheyan lost too.

Sheyan’s only advantage was the 73 seconds of lead he had over the Queen of Blades. Under the Queen’s ruthless pursuit, this lead would no doubt be slowly nibbled away. Sheyan felt like a whole pool of ice water had been poured on him. Today’s happenings had truly been a series of unfortunate events. First, he had screwed up a chain mission that would probably give a high reward, and now, even his dark green gloves were inexplicably damaged beyond repair too!

This pair of gloves could raise Sheyan’s combat power by at least 20%. And with G-spot attached to them, he would even acquire the ‘Ultimate Impact’ ability, which raised his combat power by more than 30%.

But the gloves were destroyed so abruptly!

Yes, who else could cause so much trouble at such a crucial time but the liquid metal life-form, G-spot? Although Sheyan was driving the Vulture at more than 400 km/h, he still had an uncontrollable impulse to shred G-spot to pieces…

But fantasising about it was all he could do.

Because G-spot had already destroyed several important assets that Sheyan owned, it had become the only major asset currently in Sheyan’s possession. Only an idiot would destroy their biggest weapon with their own hands….

So Sheyan could only suppress his anger. But when he checked G-spot’s properties out of habit, he was suddenly dumbstruck.

Little did Sheyan know that the Queen of Blades’ stone that G-spot consumed had a very unusual origin. It was named the Mobita Godstone. At this time, the ruler of the whole Zerg race, the Great Overmind, was still alive. He bestowed this stone to the Queen of Blades. It had an extremely powerful strengthening capability, enabling the Queen of Blades to use her mind to manage the Zerg that were spread out across galaxies thousands of light-years apart.

Even the Great Overmind had only found three of these stones, so their preciousness was evident. Under normal circumstances, this treasure could only be acquired after defeating Kerrigan, so even if Sheyan had obtained it by breaking open the treasure vault, it was something that could not be evaluated, could not be brought out of this world, and had absolutely no use.

The Mobita Godstone might be completely useless for Sheyan, but to G-spot, who was also a special storyline character, this Mobita Godstone was an extremely valuable source of nutrient that could accelerate its growth. When Sheyan obtained the stone by accident, it was truly great news for G-spot.

[ Active Ability: ‘Devour & Replicate’ — The liquid metal life-form has turned itself into the terrifying nemesis of all equipment in order to satisfy its own desires. By devouring a weapon or an equipment, the liquid metal life-form can memorise and completely replicate all the properties of the weapon or equipment (including, but not limited to, attack, defence, attribute bonuses, special abilities, strengthening level), and…transform into the weapon or equipment!! ]

[ Details: The transformation process takes one second. During the process, G-spot will temporarily return to its primary state, and the various bonuses it provides will temporarily disappear. ]

[ Warning: G-spot can only transform six times per hour, at a minimum interval of one second. ]

[ Passive Ability: ‘Replating Bonus’ — During G-spot’s growth process, it has absorbed too much precious metals, so the weapons and equipment it transforms into will get an additional +6 strengthening (see previous chapters for details) ]

[ Passive Ability: ‘Suck’ — Whenever the enemy (or their weapon) come into contact with the armour/weapon the liquid metal enhanced life-form is attached to, the liquid metal enhanced life-form will analyse the enemy and commit the result to memory. After seven times, the liquid metal enhanced life-form will be able to calculate the trajectory of the enemy’s next attack, thereby rendering it obsolete. ]

[ Passive Ability: ‘Advanced Devouring Memory’ ]

[ Through the devouring process, the liquid metal life-form can also memorise a special ability of the weapon or equipment it has devoured and commit it to a memory slot, then attach it to the weapon or equipment it transforms into! ]

[ There are currently three memory slots for ‘Devouring Memory’. ]

There are two memory slots left. Please choose the abilities you wish to store as soon as possible. However, please be aware that certain abilities could not be attached to certain equipment. For example, the special abilities of a ranged weapon normally could not be added to a melee weapon. ] (For example, if Sheyan stored a ‘Great Fireball’ spell in a memory slot, it would not be able to be attached to a glove because it was a long range magic spell.)

[ The liquid metal life-form can also transform into standard equipment that it has never devoured, but the transformed equipment will only have the properties of a basic standard equipment, and the default strengthening level will be +6. ]

[ Note: This powerful liquid metal life-form is only one step away from becoming a divine equipment! But this final step may be as wide as a giant chasm! ]
