The Typhoon's Dangerous Wife

Song Yunxi slapped her daughter, Ming Xiuying with all the might she had in her. She still couldn't believe that the girl she carried in her womb for nine-month would one day talk to her in such a way? 

Truly, Ming Xiuying had never raised her voice at her mother. 

"I dare you to repeat what you said!" Song Yunxi spoke, looking at her with clear hatred and disgust. 

Song Yunxi felt her whole world slipping away when her daughter suddenly showed up at the main Ming ancestral house and demanded to break off her engagement with Huo Yusheng. 

Such a dumb girl she had raised! 

She dared to think that she could break off her engagement with Huo Yusheng? 

"Mom! He cheated on me with my cousin," Ming Xiuying now had no control over her emotions. "Tell me how will I live with such a disgusting man?" 

Xiuying had never raised her voice at her mother before, but today she just wanted to let her emotions flow that she had blocked in her heart for many years. 

Sometimes, it's better to let our emotions out than to block them...

Xiuying had left the cruise ship in a rush when she saw Huo Yusheng and Chen Anning together. The sight of their intertwined naked bodies was still etched in her mind like an unforgettable and tormenting nightmare. 

She didn't even wait for Huo Yusheng to give clarification and left as soon as the ship reached the shore. Not that it would change anything...but still he didn't even bother to say anything. 

Was he so fed up with her?

If he hated her so much, why didn't he break the engagement then? 

She had simply been dumb. Too dumb to not see it coming! 

She had given up everything for him. 

Who knew he was just acting that he was so in love with her?

He had been with her for an ulterior motive. It was now clear to her. 

The elegant and noble Ming Xiuying that Song Yunxi had raised was nowhere in sight. The one standing before her was a disheveled and shabby woman who even Ming Xiuying didn't recognize. Her hair was scattered, eyeliner was leaking from the corner of her eyes, her lipstick was messed up, and the clothes she was wearing were hanging on her frail body. 

Such a sorry state she was in right now! 

"Ming Xiuying! Do you think I care what that boy did? If I say, you have to marry him then you will marry him at all cost!," Song Yunxi looked at her daughter and uttered. "The Huo family has a name in our society. I got you the best available man in our society, and now that you are engaged to him, you suddenly decided to back off for such a trivial matter? Shame on you. I curse the day I gave birth to you." 

Ming Xiuying closed her eyes in despair, and a bitter snort left her throat. She just wished to die at this moment. 

Only if death was so easy!

"What have I done to deserve all of this?" She whispered.

"Isn't it enough that you came into this world to make our lives hell? Or you want to do something else too?" Song Yunxi spit out. 

What mother talked to her daughter like that?

Ming Xiuying who now had collapsed on the floor felt like nothing mattered to her anymore. 

Song Yunxi walked ahead in her direction. Lowering her body, she caught Ming Xiuying's hair in her hand and made her forcibly look at her as she said,'' You will apologize to Huo Yusheng tomorrow, and within this week, you will be married to him. As for Anning, Lily will deal with her.``

Song Yunxi eased her hold on Xiuying's hair and was about to leave the living room when she felt another figure approaching the living room. 

In the darkness, only a few steps away from them were standing a man who appeared to be in his thirties. 

The man's expression was grim. His hostile gaze didn't escape Song Yunxi's cunning and aged eyes. 

Behind him was another woman clad in a nightdress.

They must have heard the yelling…

"What is going on here?" The man asked. He was no one else but Ming Ze, the eldest son of Ming Juting(Song Yunxi's husband) and the current head of the Ming family. 

"Yingying?" The lady behind him spoke as her gaze settled on the disheveled Xiuying collapsed on the floor. She was Ye Manman, wife of Ming Ze. 

Seeing that Ming Xiuying wasn't talking or replying to the couple, Song Yunxi shook her daughter's body to bring her out of daze. 

"I asked you a question, Auntie, what has been happening here and what have you done to Xiuying?" Ming Ze asked her. 

As Song Yunxi was about to open her mouth, suddenly Xiuying spoke. 

"Brother?"

Ming Ze's cold eyes settled on her frail figure. The relation between these siblings was hard to describe.They were not close to each other but they never made things difficult for each other. 

"Mom is forcing me to marry Huo Yusheng," She whispered. "He cheated on me with Anning. I don't know how long they have been betraying me…" 

Ming Xiuying was now not afraid of her mother at all. Her heart had given up on everything . 

Ye Manman strode towards Ming Xiuying and consoled her as the other woman started crying. She was not crying because the man cheated on her but because even her mother supported the one who betrayed her.

Just how much she hated her existence. 

"Auntie," Ming Ze scowled. "How can you force your daughter to do something she didn't wish to? The boy from the Huo family cheated on the girl from our family with a daughter of your relatives, instead of standing up for your daughter, you are supporting the cheater?" 

Ming Ze had seen vicious and horrendous people...but never had he ever encountered a mother as vicious as Song Yunxi. 

"As you said Ming Ze, she is my daughter and naturally, I know better than anyone what's better for my daughter," said Song Yunxi, self righteously. " Moreover, since when did you start caring for my daughter?" 

Ming Ze felt like nothing in this world could change Song Yunxi's black heart. Just what his father saw in this cruel woman? 

A woman who was ready to sacrifice her own daughter. 

"I may not care for your daughter, but I do care for the name and reputation of our family," said Ming Ze. "So, a boy who doesn't have the guts to say in front of her face that he doesn't want to marry her, doesn't deserve to be the son-in-law of our family. He insulted our family by cheating on Ming Xiuying." 

The Ming family would never continue this marriage pact as it was clearly written in it that infidelity of any kind wouldn't be tolerated. It was an insult to Ming family. 

"Auntie, look at Yingying's condition. She is having a clear meltdown before all of us. How could you be so stone hearted?" 

 These words were were spoken by Ye Wanwan but Song Yunxi answered Ming Ze. 

"She is my daughter so I know what's good for you! Stop making decisions that you shouldn't make, Ming Ze. " 

"Don't forget, Auntie, the authority to decide who Xiuying will marry apart from herself, rests with the head of the family and currently that's me...so, you should think about what you are saying." 

Song Yunxi decided to leave the matter here as her dumb daughter was not in right condition to speak in her favour. Moreover, she didn't wish to involve in any kind of verbal battle with Ming Ze for the time being.
